Not sure what to say except perhaps«meh». Having seen all the Facebook photos of beautiful entrees, I was sad to go for lunch and see only 10 sandwiches on offer and nothing else. Teeeensy tiiiiny little sandwiches at that. I’m talking a 4“x4″ square cut in half kinda tiny. With tip it was a $ 30 meal for two, and we both left hungry. One of three tables at 12:30 on a Thursday, which I guess speaks for itself considering the other downtown restaurants were packed. I had the Patrick Swayze, which is ham, turkey,(pre-cooked, microwavable) bacon, and white american cheese. Literally a sandwich I could have made at home. I assumed there would be something«gastro-pubby» about it considering it was $ 13, but nope. Just a tiny little sandwich made with lunchmeat and fake cheese. It wasn’t bad, just, well… «meh». I likely won’t be back for lunch, and would be hard-pressed to give dinner a try after this experience. Service was adequate. Waitress acted like she was either sick or tired or both. Very little interaction and zero enthusiasm to be there. Didn’t return to the table to ask how food was except to drop off the check. We were one of three tables(both 2-tops) in the restaurant, and it’s still VERYLOUD, like when it was Happy Pig. I’ve had clients say they couldn’t have lunch meetings there because the sound is out of control.

This is a nice new gastro pub in the area, and the food is fantastic. They have a rotating menu with entirely fresh ingredients they procure every day. The bread on the sandwiches is baked each morning and the sandwich meat/cheese is all Boar’s Head. I just had the Patrick Swayze sandwich, steamed with cauliflower asiago soup. It was the best soup/sandwich combo I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Was so excited about trying this place. Love how downtown has come back and so alive. Saw their Facebook page and the photos of all the dishes. It looked amazing. Couldn’t wait to try… Well let me tell you we were totally disappointed. We went on Gallery Night and were very surprised that there were very few people in the restaurant. I went with my two(adult) sons. We got the very limited menu of just sandwiches and asked our server if this was the menu because it was Gallery night? We were told that that was their menu however they did have two chef specials nightly. Well we thought we’d give it a try… Let me tell you we really want to support local businesses and always do but we were very disappointed. The portions were extremely small(especially for a male) and way overpriced. If they would charge half of what they do with the same portion I could understand but the prices start at $ 10 and go up to $ 16 and the sandwich is about 4 inches. I want local businesses to succeed but this place needs to revamp and realize that businesses right down the street are priced lower with bigger portions and flavor. When three people go in a restaurant and the bill is $ 40 + for three sandwiches and that doesn’t include any beverages …, that’s ridiculous. Needless to say we won’t be back.

The food portions are tiny, and the prices are high. The sandwiches are so tough you will break a tooth. The whole concept is ill conceived. They have a «Brad Pitt» on the menu that has Roast Beef. Hello… Brad Pitt is vegan. They thought this through about like the white tablecloths and no wine. Save yourself and go to Hub Stacy’s down the block.

Our server Kale was great, as was the bread they use from the local bakery. Beyond that, my first and last visit here was a let down. Over priced, under portioned, and lacking flavor. Keep the vault locked please.

Sadly disappointed. Avid diners in Pensacola always looking for a hip new spot. Saw good things on Facebook and decided to take our party of four. At 6:30 on a Satuday night the place was empty, but the music and lighting was welcoming enough. We were given a menu without prices and were inclined to trust the chef with our evening… but we learned our lesson. We all ordered the specials including a vegetarian dish for our idealistic son and a sandwich for our picky daughter. From the moment we were served, nothing met our expectations: the presentation was discouraging and as bland as the flavor of my partner’s tenderloin. Our son who was visiting from«the city» ate his vegetable plate(which was little more than marinated potatoes and a scoop of rice) with a smug grin, commenting the whole time on «southern decadence.» Briefly: the tenderloin looked more like a hamburger steak and lacked any flavor to distinguish the two; the sandwich bread was astonishingly tough, as was the mahi… like butter knife tough in a coastal city where every hole-in-the-wall serves perfect, flakey fish. We took this all in stride as this was an experimental outing anyway, but the quality of the food and measly portion sizes was hard to swallow once the check came. It was as if the pit in my stomach was to foreshadow that in my wallet. As with any new venture in Pensacola, we wish them the best but as of January 2016, The Vault is not ready for dinner.

Great new addition to the modernization of downtown Pensacola. A very friendly environment with an attentive and friendly staff. The bar was welcoming and had a variety of quality beverages, including our own Pensacola Bay Brewery. I had a roasted duck ponsit with caramelized pork belly. The accumulation of flavors in this dish was truly something else. All of the ingredients were obviously fresh, and the presentation was very pleasing. The people that own this place seem to really appreciate and want to support our local establishment. With exhibits from local artists to the occasional musical guest, makes this a great place to start or end your next gallery night here in downtown Pensacola.

Amazing food with exceptional service! Love the location, and it’s clean and spacious inside. The art is all done by local artists and for sale, which is super nifty. Prices are good, and food is super quality ingredients from local sources! Phenomenal place to eat!
