Beautiful and unique shop on Petaluma Blvd. Stop here and check out the many Zen items, jewelry, cards, kitchen ware, pouches, mugs, home décor and many more items. Soothing tranqil music playing as you stroll through, you’ll see many items with awesome prices. Wonderful customer service from store owner. Had a pleasant time talking with her.

Fun little store with lots of little items you can get in chinatown without the drive. Great selection of items, and cheap enough that if you want to have a theme party you can go pretty authentic and not break the bank.

The closest you can get to Chinatown this side of San Francisco. Lots of very nice items at reasonable prices.

I like Asian décor… I usually go to the location in sf Chinatown. Happened to drop by while visiting petaluma. The lady was super nice and helpful. brought a solar powered lucky cat for lunar new year. Love the zen ideas

One of the friendliest shops I’ve visited in quite a while. The place just seems to be happy– I guess when you are surrounded by ridiculously pretty merchandise, you can’t help yourself but smile and shop! Trust me, they have a big assortment of household goods(tea sets, ceramics, bento boxes), clothing, furniture, and knickknacks of every size, shape, and color(like candy, kites, lucky cat figurines, and jade jewelry) all displayed beautifully. It feels impossible to quickly shop there– it is fun to take your time and view all they have. There is a sale section to the rear of the store with reasonable markdowns.

Was on my way north for a day trip and stopped by Petaluma for some lunch and a little shopping. Pleasantly surprised to see this oriental goods shop. They’ve got lots of goodies to buy from beautiful hand painted silk robes(long and short), asian inspired furniture, vases, and many other items to help decorate your home or to give as gifts. When shopping in Petaluma, it’s worth checking out this spacious store.

It’s a pity that some others have not had the great shopping experience here that I have. Then again, I’ve never had to return anything and have never broken merchandise in the store. It’s odd that they would make a person pay — have never heard of a policy like that before. Anyway, our experience here has always been entertaining. It’s my kids favorite place to shop. The quality of many items is not the best but hey, you get what you pay for. It’s definitely a Chinatown experience without the bridge toll, right here in beautiful downtown Petaluma. Can’t ask for more than that!

Buyer Beware! I bought a few small embroidered purses as gifts. Found out after I was reviewing my receipt I had bought a bag for $ 9.95 instead of $ 5.95(it was an inch wider than the other 3, but in the same basket). I really wasn’t looking at the sizes when I grabbed the bunch. I was upset that the clerk didn’t point out the price difference when I was paying for the items. Since I did not appreciate the business practices of the store I decided to return all of the merchandise I purchased. I looked at my receipt to make sure there wasn’t anything written about the stores return policy. When I went into the store, the front clerk called another woman from the back to the cash register to point to a very small sign on the cash register that merchandise can only be exchanged not returned. I told the clerk she needs to see to it that their return policy was written somewhere on their receipts. Lesson learned, I will no longer shop at any of the Old Shanghai stores. A small $ 25 sell has turned into no more business for you!

Place strongly reminds me of Canton Bazaar down in the city, on Grant St. Right down to the relaxing Shenmue-esque music on loop(JEROMEY’S MULTIMEDIAREVIEWS — ) This place has a lot less floor space tho, so the selection is smaller. If you’ve never been to the bric-à-brac stores in Chinatown, basically it’s a wide range of touristy knicknacks and junk, with some genuinely neat stuff for cheap, and then scattered throughout are some pricier(and sometimes very beautiful) pieces that qualify as actual«art.» Like, at the Canton Bazaar, they have these Earl Grey tea tins for like 3 bucks, but they have the coolest paintings wrapped around them. Unfortunately they don’t have those here, or anything else I was personally interested in, except the wooden ship models that were like 300 bucks. Better selection for the ladies though, and enough neat inexpensive stuff to be worth a browse. I might get one of those little Kwai Chang Caine flutes next time.

BEWARE!!! Proceed with caution when going into this cheap rip off store Lots of tiny items in taped boxes on edges of counters, my mother accidentally knocked one on to the floor, the very scared counter girl said no problem I’ll pick them up, and as we were leaving she demanded we pay for them as she said they broke!!! She was trembling and said she was sorry but this was the owners policy, she motioned to a security window. ??? Really this was the biggest rip off I have seen in a long long time I should have called the police Do not shop here!!! Go to china town, they also over price everything

This was not what I expected! Petaluma being full of antique and shi-shi decorating shops had me speculative, however it was MUCH more laid back. Shelves of trinkety goods alongside nice furniture pieces and other lovely home décor items. Something for everyone’s budget and just fun to look around! Wander in the next time you are downtown strolling.
