I’ve loved Chang Thai since they had just the one location in clemmons so of course I love having this one close by! I get coupons on the regular in the mail so I always feel like I’m getting a sea. I love the cheese rolls– basically a cream cheese and onion filling spring roll. I always get the sweet and sour chicken because the sauce is the best ever! The staff are always super friendly and nice. Try the Thai iced tea– sooo yum! I just love this place. We never get takeout Chinese we opt for this instead!

I’ve lived down the street from the shopping center since it was built and have seen many restaurants open and close there. This one is finally a winner and I hope it stays! Their food is great and their staff is so sweet and caring. Give it a try! Also they have awesome sushi deals. Very affordable!

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. THEFOOD The red and green curries were decently spiced and seasoned, but could have been a bit more. Prices were very reasonable. THESERVICE Very friendly, maybe a bit pushy on trying to get us to order more food than was necessary. THEATMOSPHERE Clean and fairly tastefully done.

This restaurant is located at Grandview Plaza next door to the Food Lion. There have been several restaurants in this location but Chang Thai has been there for awhile now. I have visited several times and been pleased with every aspect each time. This review will focus on dinner Jan 17, 2014 We arrived at about six o’clock and were seated promptly. Within moments the server greeted us and had collected our drink orders. I ordered the cheese rolls as an appetizer. This is four large spring rolls with a creamy cheese filling similar to Crab Rangoon. Served on a bed of shredded carrot and a dish of sweet chili sauce. I highly recommend this appetizer to anyone who dines here. The price of only five dollars is very favorable. For my meal I chose Red Curry with Pork. This arrived quickly. This was a creamy sauce flavored with coconut milk, pleasantly spicy with a touch of sweetness. As I began eating, I could feel my face warming from the spice, but it was reminiscent of dishes loved and missed from Korea. It really reminded me of(Jae Yuk Dup Bap) although Chang Thai’s dish is a bit sweeter and has more vegetables. The curry contained a ample serving of pork and nicely tender vegetables. My daughter chose Teriyaki Tofu. As always her favorite part of the meal was the white rice, but she did finally eat some of her vegetables and tofu. She was a little reluctant because she thought it would taste like raw soy sauce, but once she really tried it she exclaimed, «YUM, I like this»(The meal choice was her own from the moment she heard they had tofu)(The children’s plate is only four dollars for a very generous meal) During our visit the manager(owner?) recognized me and visited the table. He was as always positive and friendly. He is obviously proud of the great food he serves. I can genuinely say I am a real fan of this restaurant. I eat lunch here at least once or twice a month. Only a desire to avoid over indulging keeps me away.
