This please is like a little hidden treasure hunt. Mona the owner waits you specifically. She apparently doesn’t have everything on the floor. So you have to ask. But that’s part of the magic — 9 times out of 10 she’ll have what you want and will find something that fits just to you. Yes, there is sometimes a wait but for tailored service there always is. I would just make an appointment if you don’t want to wait — Mona will always be 100% focused on whoever she is with. Some people can be annoyed by that. But I then know she’ll do the same for me. Bought some of the most comfortable, cute underwear here that I love. And there’s always something new and interesting to see when I stop in!

My gf shops here and I’ve been lucky enough to come here with her. Mona is a trip. She’s loud, funny, direct, and she has an uncanny ability to size underwear on sight alone. My gf has shipped there 10 years and has racks of amazing strappy things that make her look and feel great. Guys — worth your time to convince your partner to invest some time and $$$ at Coeur.

Lace, no lace, underwire, colors beyond the rainbow, demi, full coverage, cup size, back size, panties, thongs, sleepwear, tees and candles. All the things under one roof to make a woman feel sexy. In my opinion, because of the sheer beauty of intimate apparel, a woman should love to see how she looks in intimate apparel(bras, panties, camisoles, négligée, etc.) herself before she considers her partner’s opinion(although important). SELF-LOVE. Coeur, a small boutique in the Rittenhouse area of Philadelphia offering luxury brand accouturements. So, if you like Fantasie, Prima Donna, Chantelle just to name a few this is a place to stop and shop. Inside the space is small and dark with bright vibrant color of bras, panties, etc. To gain entrance in the boutique, you must ring a doorbell for access. Once you enter, you are surrounded by great windows to the street that can be adorned with so many options if you are one who enjoys window dressings, so all can see. On both side walls there are hangers with an array of bras, sleepwear as well as a tees from People Love World. There is a waist height counter that showcases bras and a glass front armoire that showcases bras and panties. In the back room are the fitting rooms and more bars, candles, etc.(You get the point, this place has LOTSOFBRAS). Recently, I was was here for the Chantelle Semi-Annual Bra fitting event and had a opportunity to try on some new 2014 spring & summer collections from Chantelle. There was a representative there but most people wanted to be serviced by Mona, the owner. Let’s face it, when you have an attentive, professional with a gift for gab and a personal touch, why let anyone else provide you service. Yes, there was a wait but it was a special event so that was to be expected given the number of customers and the small space. As usual, I tried on many bras and with a few adjustments Mona can tell you if the bra fits well or not but she explains why. She will keep providing bras for you to try until she can’t find anything else. Thank goodness I found 2 before we got to that point. Mona is hands on instructing you how to adjust«your girls» so that the bra fits like a glove without spillage or back fat unsightliness. I have decided that I will come to this place at least once a month to pick up some items to freshen up my stash of «mentionables». I really enjoy how personable Mona is as well a her selections. If you want great lingerie and don’t mind spending the slightly extravagant price tag, this place is for you.

Don’t waste your time. The owner Mona is standoffish & rude. She was supposed to order a bra for me. I called her 3 weeks after my visit to check on the status of my bra, once I identified myself she said someone was at the door & proceeded to hang up the phone. I’m pretty sure she forgot to order the bra but instead of her admitting that she just hung up. Needless to say I won’t be back. All of her bras are $ 60 and up.

I’m basically writing this review so others can have a better experience. Because I think you can. I have done ok with the mainstream stores but thought why not get a professional fitting. My bra straps always fall off my shoulders so I thought maybe I could find a professional. Mona was nice enough but not an experience that left me very happy. I should have followed my gut. She chose bras for me that didn’t make my chest look great and I was convinced the cup was too small. I was upset thinking, is this what fancy bras look like on me? I walked out with a bra that didn’t make me feel happy and since I wore it out, I could not return it. The straps still fall off my shoulders. I did not bother going back maybe at the risk of getting more upset. So, overall, my suggestion is follow your gut. If you don’t think you look awesome leaving the place, just don’t buy a bra. Now, I have a $ 70+ bra at home that I never wish to wear and of course, us ladies need to feel good whenever we leave the house!

If you’re not ready to invest in good bra go to VS and have them measure you with your clothes on but if you want to find the best bra for your body go to Mona! I was long over due for a bra fitting and had reached the boiling point with my drawer filled with not-so-quite-right bras. On a suggestion from a newly made friend I went to Coeur to see what all the buzz was about. When I buzzed in and the owner was finishing up with a customer and I sat taking in the deep navy blue walls and ceiling; the interior of this shop is like a blue velvet jewelry box. When it was my turn, I was led to the changing room and asked to undress from the waist down. When I stepped out I was expecting to see Mona with tape measure in had but she just looked at my front then asked for me to turn about so she could see my back. She must has sensed my confusion because she announced«I don’t use a tape measure, I can tell your size from your back.» She disappeared and came back with a bra for me to try on. She asked for me to keep the door open so she could watch how I put a bra on, and then politely corrected mistakes I had been making for years. When I finally had it on I couldn’t believe it, it was perfect, PERFECT! She had me put on a T-shirt so I could see how it looked under clothes. As she warmed up, she asked me about what prompted me to come in and about my life. I felt at ease like I was with an aunt who was bestowing to me the secrets of undergarments. She pulled a few more bras for me to try on each fit perfectly, supporting my bust without bulging or pinching on the sides, it was as though they were made just for me. I purchased 2 and Mona insisted that I leave wearing one. People like Mona are rare, she is an expert not simply an aficionado of undergarments.
This lady is like a carnival booth. She can accurately spot the breast size of a woman from 10 paces. If this were an Olympic event, she’d medal. Heck what I am saying, she’d get the gold. But it’s not just a party trick, it’s also a public service. She routinely admonishes women for not wearing bras that fit. But she does it out of compassion. Couer sells high quality under garments and provides helpful advice on how to use them. It’s her passion to make everyone look better. And those who visit her look better when they leave.
