Victoria Secret

there’s a reason i’ve stayed away from vs for several years now but the main reason was this: they overcharge for pretty shitty products. well, i usually get calvin klein bras and underwear from macys or nordstroms now (similar prices, better quality) because they always fit well and last longer than, say… like 2 months from vs. well, now i have even more reason to not shop here.
i was bored one day, decided to do some online shopping. vs was having their sale so ok… i’ll check it out. saw some underwear for real cheap and ended up ordering some. 7 pairs total — one fit ok, one was the wrong item, the others didn’t fit. i decided to schlep to the store after work to do an easy size exchange. with hopes that vs can redeem themselves in my eyes, i even hoped to find some other items to walk out with. wrong!
now…i used to work in retail management for over 17 years and so i tend to hold businesses up to a high standard in customer service. however, during a vs sale, my expectations were set pretty low. but when customer service 101 aren’t even being met… c’mon!
walked in and the front half of the store was pretty much empty and nobody who was working was up there to do the standard greeting. well, i circled the store literally 5 times and couldn’t find what i needed to exchange for. the whole store (tiny) was a disaster. there weren’t even that many people shopping!
so, four cashiers = good. saw maybe one or two employees walk into the fitting rooms but never came back out and there were no other employees anywhere else in the store except the sale section. so i hesitantly walked over there. i saw a sales girl helping someone so i asked if she can help me after she was done with her… instead she grabbed my bag of exchanges, glanced through them, said that it’s so hard to tell which ones they are (while i was holding the invoice), pointed to a general direction of where they «should be», told me to check there, and told me to allow her to finish helping the other customer. yah that’s fine. so i dug, but was still struggling to find what i needed because like i said, the store was a disaster. i waited until she was done with the first customer but she ended up helping someone else afterwards. it was clear she didn’t want to help me. so, i decided to just return the underwear and get the hell out of there. i communicated my disappointment in the service i received and the cashier was very sympathetic about it. the cashier next to her though kept eyeing me, expressing her discontent with my complaint. it was a mere complaint. i didn’t expect anything to be done about it. i just wanted to express my discontent of the service i received, that’s all.
anyways, long story short (i know too late for that) i ended up walking out empty-​handed and highly disappointed in this store. go to macys and get yourself some high-​quality calvin kleins ladies!

I came here on my lunch break to buy some bras and panties. Unfortunately, I probably won’t be coming back, especially not during my lunch hour.
Good:
1) I do have to say, every item was meticulously placed and organized. I love that!
2) The employees were everywhere! There was always someone waiting to be asked a question. They didn’t seem bothered by it either. They are constantly reminding you of the sales going on too.
3) The location is convenient.
Bad:
1) I spent 45 minutes here because half of the time was spent waiting in the line to check-​out.
2) I went during lunch time, so the crowding is something I could expect. However, I didn’t expect it to be THAT crowded when I went. Holy crap!
3) Yes, the location is convenient but the actual store is small.
4) While at check-​out, the cashier ringing me out was… Obnoxious. He asked me over and over again if an employee helped me. I said no over and over again. I knew my size and knew what I wanted, so I didn’t need assistance while browsing. However, the cashier CONTINUED to ask me if anyone helped me. ‘Are you sure nobody helped you?’ Yes, I was really asked that.

So… here’s the thing. Ive gone into this store before and their selection is alright. However the last time I was there, here is what bothered me… I came in and I was asked right away if I needed help. Nope. I’m fine. Just looking. Thank you.
3 minutes later I’m looking at the lace underwear that is on sale.
«Ma’am, do you need a bag?»
«Oh no thank you. I’m fine. Thanks.»
MAYBE 2 minutes later…
«Can I help you find something? A particular size? Color?»
«Uh no. Just looking. Thanks though.»
I move to another section of the store, the manager can be overheard reprimanding a staff member. Not harshly mind you, but still. As a General Manager of a Retail outlet myself… That’s a no no.
As I’m just walking around… I touched a pair of sweatpants…
«Ma’am, can I help you find those in your size?»
«Uh no. I was just looking.»
I move back to the underwear.
At least 3 more times I am asked if I need help, if I need a bag, if I need to find something in my size.
Please know I am ALL for great customer service BUT at some point it’s a little pushy. AND, please try to remember who you said what to… in the space of a half hour I was «helped» to the point of being a bit uncomfortable. So that’s my only issue. I ended up getting my stuff online — partly because they had a better sale online, but also just to have some peace and quiet while I shopped! LOL

I always LOVE going into this store. From the moment I walk into the store until the time I leave, the staff is extremely attentive. The manager, Lori, is warm, welcoming, and inviting :).
The store is always amply stocked. If there is an item I want, and it’s not present, staff always offer to order it for me. When there is a question about possible sizing, staff members always offer fitting opportunities & utilize their expertise to offer assistance.
The staff is always professional in their attire and demeanor. This is a great place to get under garments, lounge wear, slippers, etc.

Came into the store and right away this sweet girl Kelly asked if she could help me find anything. So she helped me with a fitting, took me to the changing rooms, then said to find her afterwards. After I got the perfect size, I left and so many of the employees there were so helpful from offering their suggestions to giving me a bag with my handful of bras. Later Kelly came up to me and asked if I wanted one of the bra traveling kit giveaways that they were doing and promised to save one of the last ones up there for me. She also guided me to finding a super rare and cute bra online and helped me order it. I left happy and with a bag full of new accessories thanks to the sweet and helpful staff there. Keep up the great work because it’s that kind of service that keeps people coming back :)

The store always seems to have something new going on. Upset that he deals aren’t always as good as some other cities though. Unfortunately this is the only VS in the city. The associates need to have a better understanding of the promos going on in store though! Other than the obvious spend $xyz for a free bag.

I paid a visit to VS because of a sale. I’m one of the people that used to be crazy about the brand but not so much anymore. I feel like their style and quality keeps deteriorating from one year to the other. Also, they do not add many new styles with the change of season. However, anytime that I have entered into this store, someone has approached me quickly to offer a bag for my items and/​or ask if I was looking for something in particular. The same thing goes for the ladies that stay in the fitting room. They’re all helpful.
Note that by going at the store you can find better deals than doing an online purchase. At least, this has been my experience.

Well organized, well laid out store. Sales Associate are very helpful, though they do seem to get busier during lunch time and after hours

I went in when they opened at 938 even tho they supposed to open at 930 am!
The store was disgusting I had never in my life see something like this at a Victoria secret store! The cashier counter had 5 Starbucks old drinks and the most disgusting part was the bag with golf fish crackers all over the counter! I suggest the manger to fire the staff and get some more professional people in there. Should check you cameras in the morning and see how disgusting the store is!

Similar to other Victoria’s Secret locations: pricey, has PINK and VS collections, decent number of fitting rooms but they’re always full, etc.

Never had a problem with them. I’m there almost every week. I have a problem I know! I should invest in their stocks ;) Anyway they always try to be pleasant and helpful. Most if the times they are busy but I never been ignored.
Four Unilocal

I hadn’t bought a new bra in three years and wanted to (finally!) smarten up my look. I chose this branch of VS because of the good reviews and was not disappointed.
Very friendly Leah (apologies if spelling wrong) measured me and helped me pick out some nice initial bras to try on. In the fitting room, Nina was a star! She brought me at least fifteen bras of different styles and fits, and gave practical advice on strap length and where a correctly fitting bra should sit on my body. Nina filled out a card for me with the style and size of the bras that worked best, then I headed to the shop floor with Lea to pick colors, which was really fun!
I would drop like a quarter of a star as I was given the wrong fit of t-​shirt bra when I picked colors (extra padded instead of unlined). But I quickly found the right one, so not a big deal.
If these ladies earn commission, they deserve every cent! I have never had such well fitting bras, and without Nina’s help I would have given up halfway through, as I normally hate shopping. I will definitely be back.

Fairly decent size Victoria Secret.
They have a large selection of everything. The sales associates are very friendly and attentive to your needs. The beauty/​perfume area lacked organization and some inventory. In their PINK section, some of the sizes did not have many inventory.
I love the 7 undies for $ 26.50. and the 2 for 42 everyday bras.
I wish VS did not add those silicon lining in some of their bras. Im allergic to them.

Only been here once and it was one of the most positive experience I’ve had with a Victoria’s Secret. I came right when they opened bc I wanted to claim my free bag with a purchase. The lady that helped me was very informative. She helped me look for the right strapless for me that would be comfortable and form fitting. Then she helped me look for a sports bra. Yes, the prices are high, but these bras are the only ones that do not bruise me. After helping me out, I was rung up right away (no lines) and out the door. So so fast. Loved it! I’m not a big shopper so if I can find what I need and get out asap, I’m a happy camper!

For whatever reason it was busy in here on a Thursday «after work» — around 5 PM.
I had the famous «free panty» coupon — but I also needed some 5 for $ 26 cotton undies and was in DIRE need of hosiery — as mine had a run.
The pantyhose I selected? $ 16. No sale! Yikes.
Meanwhile the line was pretty long to check out but they got another lady to open a second register and that helped.
The usual Icky Vicky experience.

Its hard to get help at this store. Now for the most part I usually don’t need help and I don’t like being bothered either. I hate walking into stores and I am constantly pestered. Well, at this store no one will ask if you need help, or a size, fitting etc., I feel like I am pretty much on my own in here. Its hard to find someone to ask for help because its almost as if they are too busy doing there own thing.
However, I do like Victoria’s Secret. There is definetly a great selection. They have swimsuits, leggings, beach coverups, makeup etc., Usually, there are long lines when checking out they definetly stay busy here.

Free bra fitting? Yes, please.
Zee is a miracle worker. One quick wrap of the tape measure and she was offering me armfuls of new bras to try — in my new/​correct size. I think I tried on at least 12 different styles until I found a couple that worked. With each new try-​on, Zee was great about checking the fit, adjusting the straps, giving her opinion on what seemed to work. Of course, if you’re shy, you’ll lose out on this, since she needs to see you in your brasseried glory to help! But the measuring happens over your clothes so no worries for you bashful ones.
Once I had narrowed it down to the chosen few, Zee was quick-​like-​lightning communicating my choices to someone on the floor. They walked me straight to the correct sections, where all the color options in my size had already been pulled out for me to see and make my selection. Plus, Zee gave me a little card with all the styles on it, and she had marked down which styles I’d liked (and which I hated so I’ll remember to never bother with those again!).
Never before have I had such great service at any lingerie store, let alone a Victoria’s Secret. Maybe it was because I was there towards the end of the night and they weren’t overly busy? Maybe it was because Zee is an employee who goes above and beyond what’s expected of her? Whatever the reason, I’ll take it.

I went in here three days before Christmas to make a purchase and waited far too long at the register. They had TWO people working in the ENTIRE store… three days before Christmas! This meant that there was only one person working the register. In addition to holiday shopping, it was the last day to redeem their bonus bucks offer from November, so it was obviously a busy day. Poor scheduling on their part led to several unhappy customers.

i had a great experience there yesterday when searching for a new bra — i was helped by multiple salespeople throughout the process. tried on a few suggested styles and ended up going home w 2 more bras than planned — thanks VS!
they carry Pink and make up and fragrances too.
