Cool Little dive bar… a Little to Trendy Rock for me. and I don’t see them doing many«hardcore» «punk» shows there if they want to keep that place as nice as it is… The taps at the table are an interesting touch and the bar stools were pretty awesome but other than that. Mhhhh just another bar in philly.

sorry to say but not a fan of this place. $ 3 for a pbr. really?!? when I usually only pay $ 2 every other place I go. the sound for bands is awful! I am no sound expert but I recently saw a friends band, that I have seen before, and although they are awesome, the sound was off in the place, as it has been the other times I was here. I only seem to come to support bands my friends are in. I never ate the food but I have a feeling I won’t be trying it any time soon. on the good side, the staff has always been friendly.

Stopped in on a Thursday night to see a friend’s band. This place seems like it would be a decent bar by itself. My main complaint with it being a rock bar is that it’s small and I really thought the sound was poor. I had trouble hearing the bands playing because it was really loud. I even tried walking up to the second floor but that didn’t help much. I found it very hard to make out the vocals which the band was playing. Beer selection was halfway decent. I stuck with the Dale’s Pale Ale and other in my party had the Dogfish 60 Minute. Prices were ok too. Will I be running back here all the time, probably not, but this place was ok in my book.
