We stopped here two nights in a row after being a few drinks in and at that point we were happy to get just about anything in our bellies. Regardless, aside from the questionable customers, they had decent pizza. The first night I got a slice of chicken ranch and the second night I got a slice of the buffalo chicken. Chicken ranch was just ok and the buffalo chicken was pretty darn delish. I would definitely stop by here again after a night out, but that’s probably about it.

Yunk’s is my spot. My first few times in here I just got some slices of plain. The pizza was cooked well and had a great crust. The sauce was great and the cheese was awesome. I don’t normally get specialty slices, but there is a great assortment for everyone. The cheese stake was perfect with a good cut of meat and the bread was amazing. I have no idea why Unilocal lets other businesses post negative reviews. I had a chance to meet the owner and he was a real stand up guy. I talked to him for a good 15 minutes before I asked him who the owner was and he said it was his place. I was impressed across the board. I recommend this place to everyone. There’s casual relaxed seating outside too.

Yunks is the new, up and coming place to eat in Manyunk. Their pizza is very good. The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. If you are in the neighborhood you should definitely stop in and give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve never reviewed a restaurant on Unilocal before, but the pizza I got delivered from this restaurant last night was so horrendous that I felt compelled to let others know. The dough was paper thin and didn’t seem to be cooked all the way through. If there was any cheese on the pizza, I didn’t see it – I’m convinced they forgot to put it on. The chicken on one of the pizzas was of seriously questionable quality. I took a couple of bites and ended up throwing the rest away.
This is different from the «bad» pizza I normally complain about, which is just cheap and not well-​made – this pizza was inedible, disgusting, and not worth paying any money for, let along the $ 14 a pie I paid.

Ordered delivery but have to admit that I am kicking myself for not checking out the reviews first. The food took over an hour to be delivered on a Tuesday night… was cold and not very good. Barely any meat on the cheesesteaks and the bread was half stale/​half some bizarre chewy texture that I had to peel the crust off of. I like to support local businesses so I hate to write a bad review but there are tons of local eateries I would suggest before recommending anyone eat here.

The owner is an absolute moron. Please do not visit here. The pizza tastes like it’s made with ketchup and the place just looks dirty. When I was waiting the owner (Theo? Leo?) bragged about his family being associated with the mob –_​– WHOA MAN, YOU’RE SO COOL. Go to Mike’s or Riverside.

Called for delivery the other night and the person who picked up the phone said he didn’t know how to take the order and would call us back, 20 minutes later we end up calling back and we get the same answer.
We finally were able to place an order but when we got our food delivered there were items missing although we paid the full amount (plus tip).
Food was decent but service was horrible.

For those hoping the new shop on the corner of Main Street and Shurs Lane would offer something new and original, I apologize but I must warn you that you will be disappointed. Further, if you hoped it would not be another pizza place that preys on the drunk and stupid, you will again be disappointed. Without an official sign outside the restaurant, it is hard to base this review on anything other than the poor pizza, questionable service, and general attitude. Even Mike’s has nothing to be worried about…
