U-Haul Moving & Storage at 50th St & McDowell

I was a customer there for 2 plus years, my rate was raised 3 times, so by the time I left, my rate had gone up by $ 29. Thor and all of the other male employees are great. They are friendly, helpful and they do not make you feel like you are «bothering» them when you need something. The female employee is rude, depressing and the main reason I moved my stuff to a different place. She rolls her eyes evetytime I asked her for something, she talked to me like a child and Don’t pay late (anything over 3 days past due) unless you want to pay the late fee of $ 20. If you are more than a week late, they charge $ 30 more, for a total of $ 50. I realize people should pay on time but they make it next to impossible to catch up with all the fees, they also charge a $ 25 fee for a lien notice after 15 days late. The place I moved to gives you 11 days before they add any fees at all. Uhaul also takes your things and sells them after 30 days, so they add $ 100 to your bill and then take your stuff, real nice.
Oh, the best part is, the roof leaks and my couch got soaked and was covered with black mold. I didn’t know this until I moved out and when I asked about the insurance (that they MAKE you buy) the girl told me it was not covered because it was an «an act of God». Why is God responsible for the roof leaking??? Oh well, I am now saving $ 45 a month so I am very happy I moved.

Last review of the night, had a list and now it is completely done! This U-​Haul is amazing; their kindness and person-​ability has proven to serve them well. I have done storage with them since I was in college, and I continue to refer friends and family here. Thor and Eddie are amazing as well as Tony. When I forget to make a payment, they are not evil about it at all, they just call and remind me, and I pay. We keep this circle of trust going and everyone is happy! Especially my stuff!!!
