Uncle Bob’s Self Storage

The most amazing experience. This is what customer service should be like every where. I have visited a few other competitors and hands down… in every aspect, Uncle Bob’s has all the competition beat.

This newly built facility is as good as it gets for self-​storage.
I used the nearby Public Storage on McDowell last year and the difference between that place and Uncle Bob’s is like Heaven and Earth.

Huge Fast Elevators
Plenty of Dollies
This contrasts with the other storage places in the area like Uhaul and Public Storage where you sweat it out outdoors with slow push-​button lifts. You also don’t have to fight over dollies as they have plenty of them scattered throughout the property. One caveat is that they are about $ 5-​$ 10 higher a month then the other options in the area but I’ll gladly pay more for the benefits stated above.
Like other reviewers have stated manager Matt is awesome and made moving in a breeze. The service here is better then some hotels.

Uncle Bob’s Self Storage is the very first experience I’ve ever had of self storage and I have to be honest: I was NOT looking forward to it. The moving situation itself was less than ideal and having to get storage made it even less so.
I actually put the search for storage off for weeks before finally bearing down and «getting it over with». I «chose» Uncle Bob’s because, compared to other options in the area, it’s prices were less costly, and because it was nearby where I lived.
** I am VERY excited to report that I could not possibly be happier with my experience here. From the first person that I spoke with on the phone to the awesome service I received on-​site, the experience was honestly such a huge relief.
I was helped at the storage facility by Matthew — a highly knowledgeable, high energy individual who was eager to help and maintained a sincere sense of urgency without sacrificing that all-​important personal touch.
Matt made it unbelievably easy for me to get my things moved in. He was careful to explain everything I needed to know down to the barest details, without making me feel stupid or rushed. He took extra time to make sure I had everything I needed.
He let me know, too, that Uncle Bob’s even lets you use their truck for free up to 25 miles, asking only that you fill it with gas once you’re through. This was a TREMENDOUSLY pleasant surprise for me since I was about to turn around and rent one for $ 150+.
The facility itself is very high security, very bright, and very clean. It’s such a silly thing — self storage, right? But it’s VERY obvious that Uncle Bob’s takes pride in its business and goes the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one.
** I never thought I’d have any reason to say this, but I would HIGHLY and EXCITEDLY recommend Uncle Bob’s Self Storage to ANYONE looking for a great deal on storage. And I’d hope that they get to work with Matt, too, because he was really really great.

This place is really nice. Good parking for moving trucks. Great manager; he brought us ice cold water while moving stuff out of the unit. In the 100+ degree heat, this was going above and beyond. Air conditioned hallways for storage. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

First time user of self storage. I had never heard of Uncle Bob’s. I went online and reserved a space, and then I decided to go down and see the actual size (I worried I may have chosen the wrong size). I was met by Matt McGregor and he was extremely helpful and friendly. He showed me different options and ended up with a different size. The place was so bright and clean, and more importantly I felt it was a safe and secure facility. I would recommend this company for everyone.

I wouldn’t have expected management to make much of a difference when it comes to storage, but these guys were fantastic. Super helpful, patient, and great to work with.
They have good security with gate codes, and cameras all around the property. The facility itself is air conditioned and smells new (because it is). They have several options for unit size.
The location is great, right off the highway so if you’re hiring movers you won’t waste money on extra travel time.
They also have a bunch of dollies for bringing stuff from your vehicle to your storage unit.
I honestly didn’t think I’d be writing a glowing review about a storage facility, but this one earned it.
