I love Scramblers! I’m from Indianapolis but I visit Columbus, OH about twice a month to visit my family. Every trip I make sure we stop here. My family comes here weekly so the entire staff knows them lol. Everyone is super friendly and the portions are large. We can eat 6 people for under $ 50 so make sure you tip about 30−35% so your waiter can actually make a living. With such low prices and great service I don’t mind tipping the servers what they’re worth.

The service was good. The breakfast… well the hashbrowns were good. The pancakes were flat and seemed eggy at the edges — is that even possible?. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery. I have enjoyed other locations, this one fell short.

Have seen this restaurant all over Columbus and decided to give it a try. The service was excellent. The food was ok. Definitely not somewhere that I would tell someone to run to. But it wasn’t bad, just nothing to call home about. I would go back and try something else though. They did give me good portions.

I’ve been to this restaurant quite a few times for breakfast and I’m extremely satisfied EVERY time. I frequent the location in Pickerington on Hill Rd. and the service is always top notch. One thing that I love is the simple, modern décor and the options that are available for breakfast/brunch. All of the portions are good sized and I never leave feeling like I didn’t get my money’s worth which happens at so many places. I would anyone to at least give them a shot. For someone like me, who LOVES The Waffle House, it was a very welcome addition to my eating spots!

I was pleasantly surprised by Scrambler Marie’s. My dad always says how much he loves it so when we had an hour to kill in Pickerington, we stopped in for breakfast. About 5 people warmly greeted us. Service was quick and attentive and very friendly. The food portions were big, food was delicious, and pretty inexpensive. There were families with babies, elderly couples, and everyone in between eating breakfast. Restaurant was pretty full and still very quick service, even when I asked for a couple of substitutions to my order. They must be doing something right! In and out of there in about 40 minutes. Awesome!

Love this place. Fresh hardy non greasy breakfast. I love that you can get fresh fruit in place of bread for a gluten free option. Plus they have turkey bacon! Hash browns are yum and love the water jar per table. Great service. Friendly.

I’m not sure what the deal is, the reviews are either a love it or hate it, though I really enjoyed my breakfast here. They have a ton of variety, literally something for just about anyone. I didn’t care much for the coffee, though I expected that and it wasn’t that big of a deal. The breakfast was hot, came quickly, and was delicious. In a world of mediocre breakfast options, this was an enjoyable surprise.

Wanted to try someplace new with the family for Sunday brunch so we stopped at Scrambler Marie’s. Inside décor was great, we sat on the patio since it was a beautiful day. That was the end of the«good» portion of our visit. Host seated us and took our drink orders, really wish I had gotten his name for you. 10 minutes later our server stopped by to inform us her host had taken our drink orders, did not tell them to her, and then he left. She then asked me if I ever wished I could fire people, which I felt was unprofessional, however I replied«yes, all the time». Server then informed us she was the daughter of the owners, so I am hoping she shares the experience with the host, with her parents. Those were the very last words the server spoke to us during our visit. Drinks arrived without straws for the kids, I asked if we could please get some, and another set of silverware since only 4 sets were left for our table of 5. Meals were brought out a few minutes later by two additional people, still no silverware. I asked this gentleman if he could bring some straws and silverware when he replied«absolutely sorry about that»(an actual glimpse of customer service). He returned shortly with silverware and a couple minutes later server arrived with the straws. Food was average at best. Kid’s smiley pancake with bacon was good. Chicken tenders and fries for the kids were good however honey mustard from order was not brought out, so had to wait longer for that. Wife’s scrambled egg order came out over medium, so had to get that corrected. Sausage gravy and biscuit tasted like something you would expect out of a can from The Dollar Tree. If this was actually homemade, I feel terrible for your cooking skills. Asked if we could have a to go box, however 10 minutes later all we received was the check. Asked again for a box when she picked up our check, which resulted in no «sorry about that, my mistake, or sure I’ll be right back» simply walked away, Server returned with my credit card, dropped on the table and walked away. No «thank you, thanks for coming, have a great day,» just silence. First time in my life I have left anywhere without leaving a tip.

Service is terrible… Walked in no one is waiting and no host is at the podium to greet us. I notice two employees ahead working on a cash register just ahead they see us however neither give acknowledgement of someone will be with us. The cook comes from the back of kitchen with two plates and serves a table of two. There is literally five tables that have patrons. Finally a sweating gentleman comes from out of back kitchen to seat us. He ask what would we like to drink, we request water with lemon. He comes out with pitcher of water(sweating profusely now) without lemons. We look over menu for about seven minutes, then he comes back to take order. We at this point become turned off and leave the establishment.

Solid breakfast joint; I like a place that leaves a pitcher of ice water & fresh pot of coffee at your table. I’d recommend sticking to the basics when ordering your eggs, while Scramblers does have a few menu options with a spicy, Southwest flair not sure that’s their specialty and you’re probably better off just keeping it simple. Or if you’re really hungry all you can eat flapjacks, they’re huge so good luck killing more than 4⁄5 pancakes.

Enjoyed a nice breakfast with my husband on Saturday. I was surprised it wasn’t really busy at 9:30am which we were thankful for! We were seated in the small room off to the side by the window. Thank you Shelley for the great service! Love the mini classic, has everything I want without needing a buffet. Husband got the moose(?) skillet which he said was a bit too salty. He will try something else next time. Love the coupon in the Pickerington calendar. See you soon!

All time favorite breakfast restaurants! Staff is always friendly and inviting. Food served hot, fast and fresh. Wait staff actually take the time to stop and chat… A rarely in this day and age. I have personally tried almost everything on the menu and haven’t found a disappointing meal.

This chain is strategically placed in rural, suburban, areas around the nation. Thus, homogeny is the name of the game. I’ve been blessed to have indulged in breakfast at locally owned, mom and pop places, where variety/“think outside of the box”, «unique» and«creative» are used in the same sentence. So, is this place on my radar? No. Is this place more for the suburbanite who doesn’t venture out to eat as much? More likely. So I give this joint three stars: it’s a safe stop. This restaurant is one of very few establishments in Pickerington that serves breakfast. In fact, I think it’s the second(Old Village Diner, being the first). This joint has moved into the old Block Buster strip mall space. Accessible — right off the main drag. Lots of tables inside. «Warm» colors. Could use more wall décor(too much empty space). They serve breakfast and lunch, and their menu has a balanced number of entrees for both. We were seated in a booth — no waiting time! — and got our drinks right away. I chose the Awesome Avocado omelet, home fries(cubed potato chunks, slightly seasoned) on the side. The meal was ok. Nothing to brag out, not horrible. It suffices for the day, since I didn’t have breakfast, and lunch break was @ 10. Protein to keep my day moving.

Great breakfast and good orange juice. Had the garden feta the salsa with it was a perfect touch. Will be back for sure!
