Worst pollo loco I’ve ever been too!!! I wonder if the owner knows what type of people he has working for him! I didn’t think girls can get dumber but they sure can after what I experienced last night at this location! Never again will I come to this location! Even the managers look dumb! It deserves 0 stars

My review is based on this pollo loco location only. This location sells the 8 piece leg and thigh for $ 11.99 when the pollo loco in Whittier on Washington Blvd has it for $ 9.99 the 12 piece is $ 15.99 when it should be $ 13.99. I know it’s only $ 2 but it’s two bucks that makes a greedy owner richer!

If I could give this location O stars I most definitely would. I was having an early lunch this weekend and I saw an argument between a customer and a general manager which at first I thought he was just a supervisor, what really shocked me was to see how UNPROFESSIONAL this individual was, his name is Jorge Valle, I had to find out his name as soon as I left the restaurant. Jorge was antagonizing the customer by shaking his head and saying NO to him as if he was a 5 year old and from what I gathered the customer was returning for an order that was apparently incorrect and the general manager just would not Budge and give him what was missing, I tell you I’m Not a manager but I would have handled this situation very differently, I would have apologized to the customer for the mix up and given him his food and that I call good customer service but actually we all heard this GM call the customer an F-ing something at that moment I got my tray and my belongings and left the restaurant this was to much for me, This so called manager was talking this way in front of me and about 4 other families that were in the establishment and he apparently didn’t really care about El Pollo Loco, his position, or anyone else sitting in the restaurant. Well let me tell you thanks to this manager I will never ever visit this location again. Ah! and one other thing, I was there at about 10am and you would think that their restrooms would be clean. well they are filthy and smell so bad, it looks like they also don’t have anyone cleaning their bathrooms frequently.

So disappointed I had forgotten my wallet but luckily I have Apple Pay on my phone so went in the apple site they said pollo loco accepted Apple Pay! Great so I go through the drive thru on lunch I get to the window and I tell the girl about me paying by Apple Pay… And she says«what the F*** is Apple Pay» so she calls someone else… nobody there knows what it is I offer to go inside and do it myself but an older gentleman comes out and says they don’t take it at all… I’m sure Apple want lying about who offered their service… Maybe they’re just not trained and very unprofessional :/

The cashiers name was Isabel was very friendly. I had not been to El Pollo loco in a while so I didn’t recognize the menu. Isabela explained each item slowly and very knowledgeable, she even helped me make choices based on my preference. So helpful, I would most definitely recommend that location every one is very patient and friendly.

There was a girl here working in the drive thru on ¼/16, about 1−2pm who was really rude. I’m not sure why she was rude, given that I was really friendly when I was ordering, saying Please and Thank you, and my order was fairly quick. She just kept saying«Anything else. Anything else. Yeah ok. Pull forward.» Then I got to the window, she asks for the payment. I asked her to repeat what sides I had ordered(because I honestly had been so rushed that I needed to double check if I said the correct sides that my kids wanted) and she says real loud«THATS $ 20.10 k??» I said ok but did I order corn and pinto beans… I was just checking? And she rolls her eyes and says«yeah. K $ 20.10» Gives me the food, I looked in the bag and before I can look up and ask her for salsas and some cilantro on the side, the drive thru window is slammed and she’s no where to be seen. So I didn’t get my salsas The food was good, no problem with that. But why was she so rude??? So unnecessary!

Bad service in the drive thru. They just went mute on me on the speaker. Handed me my food and closed the window when I was going to ask for more sauce. Go to the other Pollo loco on Rosemead they are a lot nicer.

I will never come back to this place, I used to come here but not any more, I went through the drive thru and I ordered some meals with the drink included, I came back home and I saw I forgot something I went back but during my way I drank the soda I ordered I went through the drive thru again and I ordered the other meal I was forgetting and I asked for a refill and the lady on the window said that they can not do that, and I told her I ordered food like half an hour ago and I showed the receipt but the manager saw me through the window and said sorry we have to charge again for the refill, whattt! they lost a client and many more only for a few coins XD!!! this is not a good management. I will never return to this place not even any of my family members that used to eat there.

Went on drive thru today and received horrible service! I had to repeat myself multiple times… then to top it off I received my order wrong. I also got 3 orders and only spoons for 2? I used to come here alot… This is a 3 visit review… my 2nd visit today again horrible service! I asked for the big family meal and asked to substitute the beans side for macaroni and cheese… they said I’m sorry we can’t do that… I came down to the one is Rosemead and had no problem… I asked the girl about substituting and she said it’s not a big deal. I can’t believe they are willing to lose a customer that has been coming here for over 8 years and have had bad service a few times already, but gave them a chance… well now they lost my business and my entire office that used to come here all the time. Now we are going to the Pollo loco on Rosemead, I don’t mind the commute for good service!

This particular Pollo Loco keeps getting worse, as far as serving complete orders are concerned! I only get drive-thru and most of the times I’m in a hurry. It never fails to have certain items missing from my orders! My orders are normally big, so I don’t have time to check everything to make sure it’s there. But today was the last time! They have lost me as a customer! They need to retrain all of their employees there!

I usually don’t take the time to write a review but this is ridiculous how bad the service is. The girls in the drive through are incredibly rude. I’ve gone a couple times thinking it’ll be different but they always screw up the order and speak to you with an attitude. If the manager sees this please let your staff know they are driving customers away.

The service here is pretty good and friendly! Plus, it is nice inside now that it has been redecorated! I am not a fan of Pico Rivera, but I do like this El Pollo Loco, it’s close to where I used to work and I really enjoyed coming to this one during my lunch break! The food is really good, it is clean, quick, and great quality! In general, I think that El Pollo Loco’s menu has a great selection and delicious ingredients and this is a good location to enjoy it!

I haven’t had the greatest El Pollo Loco experience, hell, I’ve even had ants on my drink, luckily this place has been a great experience for me. Their drive thru is quick, their employees always have a great attitude and their food is good. I’m really digging their under 500 calories meals. I really love their Mango Grilled Tostada(black beans, grilled chicken, cojita cheese, mango salsa, avocado on top of a grilled whole wheat tortilla), and their new create your own bowl is a great idea. You get to pick one chopped chicken thigh, chicken breast, pork carnitas or double your meat. Two sides, either rice, pinto beans, broccoli, lettuce or black beans. Then you can choose up to three of the following items: Avocado, guacamole, bacon, jack cheese, cotija cheese, cut corn, mango salsa, pico de gallo or sour cream. Lastly you can top off your bowl with poblano salsa, creamy cilantro, queso or enchilada sauce. You get to choose your favorites!

Typical fast food chicken. Customer service needs improvement. I came with my granddaughters at 5pm on a Thursday. Restaurant was not busy and our order was taken promptly. Part of the order was to go and was noted on the receipt as well as the other counter person was alerted. After we finished eating we still did not have the to go order. My granddaughter asked for the to go order and a couple of minutes later we were given a second kids meal. NOT what we ordered. I went back to the counter to return the kids meal and ask for the proper order. The person who took the original order informed me we had asked for the kids meal. I showed her the receipt with my to go order correctly noted and paid for. Also the other cashier said«remember she had a combo to go?» Then she grabbed my receipt and said«ok give me a minute». We eventually got the correct order. Would I come back here? Maybe but not soon and definitely will not mix to go orders with eat on orders.

This is one of my favorite locations ever! I now love in Texas and the closest Pollo Loco that is closest to me is in San Antonio. They put carrots and peas in the rice there! What?!? Gross! But this place is very consistent and whenever I come into town I am always sure to come to this specific location. The staff is super friendly and the food is great. I always get a pollo bowl and smother it in that green sauce. I can seriously drink it!

Worst service I’ve had at any el pollo So sad because is so close to my house. The chirps had no sugar on them and my order was wrong. The workers are all joking with each other. And it wasn’t even busy when I went in. Disappointed :(

Pretty good Pollo Loco… All your regular basic crazy chicken food. I do like to rate these places by there cleanliness… This one was pretty clean. Nice ample dining area, with the salsa bar in the middle, sort of.
