The food was good for the price.
We ordered 5 of the Crystal Burgers and shared them between the wife and myself.
By no means is this to the level of a 5 Guys but it’s cheaper and if you are looking for some cheap food to snack on before a show this place fits that nicely.

C’mon it’s a Krstal’s. Classic miniature beef patty with 1 pickle slice, and a dime Size squirting of mustard. This isn’t some gourmet burger restaurant, it’s an after partying all night, give me some food type joint. These are gut bombs. They taste great when hungry. If you ate looking for a ¼ lb patty on a bun with a coupke tomatoes, some lettuce, sliced onion, don’t come here. Again great burgers for what they are.

Well, If you enjoy Cheese and just mustard together on things this is the place for you to go. No Ketchup on the burgers. Still trying to wrap myself around the thought about why this place doesn’t put ketchup on the burgers. It was ok. Not the best.

In my world where I have been spoiled by the much gooderness of 5 Guys, my visit here was more for nostalgic reasons. In my teens, aside from Denny’s and IHOP, Krystal was about the only place around that one could go to in the middle of the night (when I get off work) for food.
Everything we ordered was hot and freshly made (we came at a slow time). The cook came out and chatted us up.
I could have driven 2 blocks and gotten to the local 5 Guys. Spent a few bucks more and gotten the hamburger of my life, for that particular day. Came here, as a token of a memory.
It had been a year since I ate at Krystal’s. It’ll be a year more, till the next time.
I ended up with raging heartburn from my meal here. Threw off my dinner plans for the evening.
Next time. I’ll get regular chick’s instead of the spicy ones.

I wish I could give this place less than 1 star! The service was slower than molasses in January! The food is disgusting, it’s like a southern version of White Castle.

We noticed a large window sign on the Krystal’s that read $ 2.99 meals. We stopped and ordered the special which was 3 burgers, fries and a drink. The burgers were cooked fresh and brought to our table. The employees were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was very clean as were the rest rooms. Good place to stop.

My hubby is a burger guy. He even has a burger bucket list. Although, Krystal Burger was not on it. He still wanted to check this place out.
After a night of heavy drinking, this was his 4^th meal of choice. Even after a night of heavy drinking, I feel that Krystal Burger is worst than McDonalds. The burger was a thin, greasy patty… taste– cardboardish? I’m glad I never have to go back.
