I appreciate it when a hair salon actually goes above and beyond the call of duty and provides excellent client service. I schedule my appointments with Alexis twice a week for my blow drys. She is very knowledgeable with hair care, hair products and hair extensions. The staff is great, friendly and they offer beverages & champagne. My experience at this salon has been like no other. I recommend this location to all my friends and family.

I made an appointment for an event on a Sunday morning, it was 10 am when I called for an 11 am appointment and the receptionist indicated there was only a 12 pm available. When I got there the place was scarce so it made me wonder why she said 12pm in the first place. The receptionist was super laid back and seemed to be hanging out at her house, when asked to help doing my hair to make the service quicker, she did a horrible job doing my curls and last about 30 minutes. I honestly could have done a better job myself. The young lady who attended me was nice and efficient but the receptionist chick was just so lazy it caused this horrible review. At least I got a mimosa, but my hair was not really what I wanted after paying $ 50, probably won’t be coming here again.

I came here today for a 7AM blow dry because I felt too lazy to do my own hair for the long weekend, lol. All I can say is AWESOME. The girl who did my hair, Jennifer, was so sweet and attentive to what I wanted. I had to be at work by 8:30, and she finished within less than an hour. The man at the front desk (Forgot his name, may be the owner/manager…I think his name is Jay) was so funny and cool. They bring you coffee, champagne, or water per request.
The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The products they use smell so good and left my course, dry hair feeling bouncy and silky. I had an overall pleasant experience. The atmosphere and welcoming people make this a fun place to get your hair done. Very good way to start my day. Will definitely be making this my blow dry bar for those times I want to spoil myself. :-)

Fell in absolute LOVE with this place! I had a formal event that I needed a blowout and curl for and there was no way I was going to do it myself lol. So I found out about Live via Unilocal and booked two appointments for the night before the ceremony — one for my mom and one for myself. We were both scheduled with Katie (the co-​owner). I showed up and my mom was already raving about how relaxed and happy she was with her blowout and style. She looked awesome. I was up next and after a long day at work I was ready to relax. Katie was awesome! I loved the products she used on my hair, she was so sweet, and ensured that my hair would hold its curl the next morning (it totally did — my hair looked awesome throughout the whole ceremony!)
So the service was awesome, all the girls working there were complete sweethearts and I canNOT wait to go back! Highly recommend to anyone who’s looking for a blowout or style, etc.
P. S. The online booking system is awesome. Just great place overall :)

Live is located in Dadeland Plaza right next to evos. There are plenty of spaces, but some days are busier than others. Don’t worry, you can always find rooftop parking, which has a staircase right by Live.
I love the décor and the ambiance. Everything is so clean and modern. The products they use are great and smell amazing. Wanna know what else is amazing? THEY ARE OPEN ON SUNDAYS!
There are only two constant things in my life… pizza and Talisa! I have never found myself coming back to someone after a blow dry, until Talisa did my hair! She knows exactly what I want and she definitely delivers.

Chic and relaxing place to go get your hair done. Ive gone a few times and never been disappointed. They do styling which is great for engagements and you can enjoy the process with a glass of champagne. The owners, Katie & Jay, are wonderful and have created an awesome environment. I have gotten my hair done by Esther a few times and it turns out great each time. Katie is also great!

I can’t say enough good things about Alexis. She has consistently been my favorite stylist in terms of blow dries, keratin treatments and cuts. She is meticulous, professional and always super knowledgeable. Hands down the best blow dry you will ever have!

This place has has a beautiful interior design with great vibes. It is my go to place for my blowouts and extensions with Alexis.

Amazing place! I needed to get my hair curled for my graduation and I was amazed. I used their website to make my appointment and it was beyond simple and fast! They understood exactly what I wanted for my hair. It came out amazing and the products they used helped my hair to last all day. I will definitely go back for any occasion I need my hair done. I started coming here a few months ago and it has been my only go to spot for blowouts in Miami as of late. I used to go just about anywhere in South Florida but what keeps me coming back here is the fact that they use Davines, which is a sustainable hair care brand made from natural ingredients. My hair never smells or feels fried as it does from other blowdry bars. The entire staff radiates happiness and warmth, which puts me in a relaxed state and at ease after a long day at work. I love the fact that they have money saving blow dry tabs/​passes so you can purchase a set amount of blowouts and not have to worry about paying each time you go. The owners are extremely friendly and in tune with their customers needs and wants. I couldn’t ask for more in a beauty business and will definitely keep going back! I always walk out with a sleek and bouncy mane. Such a gem in Pinecrest!

Made a last minute appointment the day of using their online system. I found lots of parking, it was easy to find. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and offered something to drink. I thought the salon was very modern, clean, and spacious. Everyone was very nice. The best part were the products they use, they smell so good! My blow out came out very nice and the service was fast. I appreciate the speed and you don’t feel rushed at all. Also, no pushy sales about memberships and products. Overall, I very much enjoyed this salon and would come back.

What a nice group of people! Was in town for a wedding, my 9 year old was a flower girl and needed a fancy hairdo. our stylist was efficient and friendly and did a wonderful job on her hair! The owner is such a nice guy! Clean and modern décor., I would recommend this place to anyone needing this type of service! Good job guys! And thank you!

Amazing blow dry! I was a regular at another blow dry salon in Pinecrest but this salon blows them out of the water. Here they respect appointment times and take into consideration what you want to do to your hair in order to account for the time and properly schedule in other clients.
I called right when they opened and there was no problem whatsoever. They are a fairly new salon, just opened in November, but they are doing great. Ester is the one who took care of me and she did a great job. There is a room in the back for washing hair which I thought was better than being in the same main area. They have a line of about 8 or so chairs and the décor of the place is very clean and modern which I loved. They have a style book to help you choose what you want or of course you get a regular blow out. They use a line of product called Davines which is a natural line and I got samples of a product and I think I will be purchasing when I return! This is a great little salon, I can’t wait to come back.

Great experience at this blow dry bar… from the moment I called, everyone was friendly, helpful and just easy to get along with. Most importantly, my hair looked and felt great when I left the salon. I didn’t have any event to attend, just needed a quick blow out. I found LIV on Unilocal.Robby, my stylist was super funny and did such a wonderful job of giving me a simple clean blow out. The only thing is that it didn’t last. Usually when I get my hair blown out or do it myself, it lasts about 3 days. I had my appointment at noon and was out by around 1pm. By 3:30−4, my hair had fallen limp. Waa. Waa. To their credit, I arrived about 8 minutes late due to the atrocious parking situation. I was there on a weekday (during the holidays) around lunch hour so maybe everyone working at Datran center was also in the shopping center. PARK ON THE ROOF TOP! Then your stylist will have all the time he needs to style your locks and make it last. I found it to be average for blow dry, but service was indeed great, hence the 3 stars.

Amazing new place to get your hair done! They use davines hair products (all of which smell amazing btw) and they offer you champagne, wine or mimosas! I got my hair done with Esther, she is amazing. I explained what I wanted and I got exactly that! This is definelty my new favorite go-​to hair salon!

Overall great experience! I wanted to get my hair done for my company’s holiday party and Blow N Dry Lounge in Pinecrest was booked so I decided to give Liv a try. I couldn’t have been happier. The owners and staff are professional and super friendly, the salon is beautiful, and my hair looked phenomenal when I left. I’ll definitely be returning for another appointment in the near future.

Service beyond exceeded my expectations. I received a warm welcome with a complimentary mimosa and friendly smile upon walking in. The attention and ease of booking was perfect! I needed to get a quick blow dry early before 9am and before going about my day. this salon provided me just that! The location is beautiful, chic and the products smell amazing! Stylist Jennifer was sweet and fulfilled all my needs. I can be a little picky and my thick course hair could be a challenge for most stylist. So I’ve been waiting for a blow dry lounge to open up closer to my house and they’re finally here! They started out this week doing FREE blow outs during their soft opening to see how everything went.
Making the appointment was easy! I spoke to the owner and she is super nice and welcoming. When I arrived at the salon her and the other owner which is her husband both greeted me and offered me something to drink (citrus water, super nice touch.) I was informed that my stylist would be right with me and I sat and waited. A couple minutes later the owner introduced me to my stylist. Aleeana or something similar. (I’m so bad with names lol)
She sat me down asked me about my hair and how I wanted it. They have the cutest little look books with plenty styles to choose from! Wash time! One of my alllllll time favorite things about his place is that they have a separate room for washing so you can actually relax and not have to listen to all the blow dryers that may be going on.
Another hugggeeeee awesome perk is that they are only using Natural products from Davines which is an Italian brand that is amazing for your hair.
My stylist was super knowledgeable about the products and was super friendly! I had such a great experience, the owners are attentive to every detail!
I know the only thing they’re going to need is more chairs because people are going to LOVE this place. At 40 dollars the blow dry and I heard they’re going to be open starting at 7am!
For sure going to recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to come back :)
