We’ve been in Treasure Island, Maderia, St. Petes & Clearwater since last Friday. We’ve eaten at many places, this has been the best food, service & restaurant we’ve been in. The food was wonderful! Hot crescent rolls that are so flakey and hit! Honey butter drizzled over them. Cold, crisp salads, juicy burgers, excellent salmon and fish. Tasty and so very good. Wish we’d come here for every meal. Beats Crabby Bills, Gators and the Brown Boxer by a long shot!!! And the service was outstanding!!!

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Pinellas Park. Food is always good no matter what you order! My favorite is their vegetable plate that comes with a salad. The salad comes with a warm croissant that is probably the best croissant I’ve ever tasted my whole life. Their drinks are all amazing, although I never find them to have enough liquor for the price. The painkiller is my favorite! The best part about this place is, good food, that is also reasonably priced! My boyfriend and I can usually do dinner and drinks for under $ 50 – 60!!! Only down side is that it is ALWAYS, always packed and really, really tough to find parking.

I ordered the spinach dip! It was honestly the cheapest price I’ve seen for spinach dip at a restaurant. The appetizer took a long time to arrive. When it arrived, it looked really delicious and the cheesy was a nice stringy consistency. I was really excited only be disappointed by how flavorless it was. I felt really unhealthy doing this but I added more salt in an attempt to bring out some more flavor. It didn’t really help that much. Cheddar’s just isn’t as good as I remembered. Maybe I’ll just have to try something else next time.

I love this place. Was sat in a very timely matter, server(Richard) was very prompt with service and delivery of drinks/food. The bacon cheese fries are amazing. I ordered the chicken and shrimp… DELICIOUS! I’m a server elsewhere so i know what to look for and this place has it. Relaxing atmosphere and even more welcoming staff! Will definitely return soon!

I had the lasagna & it literally made me ill. When I told my friend she said, «Oh, yeah, did;t anyone tell you? The lasagna tends to make people sick.» HUH?! Ohyuckohyuckohyuck.

I love Cheddars but the one on Roosevelt has a better menu. I think they should both serve the same things.

Formerly known as Cheddar’s Casual Café before ditching it’s name and assumed the name Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, this Irving, Texas based company has been quietly building its repertoire of recipes through local contests that invites the neighborhood’s top amateurs to submit their tastiest side dish recipes for a chance to be featured on the casual-dining chain’s menu. I chose the Cheddar’s Club Sandwich and Fries, the club came on grilled buttered toasted white bread, I wasn’t offered a bread choice so I don’t know if this is an option, the fillings were fresh and proportioned to make this a nice lunch sandwich. The fries were just okay they were barely warm and actually kinda boring so a few will do. The service was exceptional and attentive even during the busy lunch hours which was very nice since everyone seems to be pressed for time. Over-all a great spot for lunch I would definitely return.

Came for a second time in good faith that our first time with a bad experience was a fluke. Unfortunately, it was not a fluke. The quality of food is mediocre, at best. Our first visit, my wife ordered country fried steak and was served raw food with raw batter when she cut into her meal. We told them and they offered to replace the dish so we changed it for fried fish tacos… the fish was gooey and uncooked… Raw again. We ended up not eating and we just left, disappointed. Tried it again tonight because they had good croissants, but upon arrival the booth chairs are dirty and there are cherry stems and food all over from prior patrons. The soup spoon handle was sticky and there was left over old food on it. This place is generally«skeevy» and feels unclean. The table behind us was complaining to the cook about«unspecified chicken particles» in their pot pie when we were ordering. You can try your luck, if you dare… But would highly NOT recommend.

First time to eat here! Son said it was a great place. We thought it was ok. I had a bacon burger and fries! Burger was huge and a bit dry. Son had salad, which is huge and fresh! He said the ribs were a bit over cooked but ok. His fiancée had chicken breast salad which she said was good. My wife had vegetable plate and a fresh salad! She loved it all and she is hard to please usually! Overall, I guess good, amount of food good, fresh salads, and nicely decorated.

The waitress recognized me from a year ago. I was amazed at her memory. The food is cheap and for the price is decent. You have to try their famous honey butter croissants they are only served complimentary with their salads.

I was very hesitant to come here because of the low star rating but I’m really glad I did anyway. Was told it was a 25 minute wait but we got seated in 10, on a Saturday evening. Wonderful! The place was a bit noisy, but I’ve never been a fan of quiet restaurants. I love the lively yet casual atmosphere of this place. My food and drinks were great and our server was nice. One of my guests even pointed she liked our server :) Will definitely be back, and I’m glad I didn’t let the low reviews deter me from a fantastic place.

So, I generally don’t frequent chain restaurants. But I’m in Saint Petersburg FL on business and needed a quick option to meet for drinks and appetizers. I can only report out on the service and the ultimate nachos. Service was exceptional and the nachos were very yummy. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was so plesently surprised… first time at any cheddar and all of my food and my guests food was amazing. my whitefish portion was enormous and cooked to perfection, our waiter Charlie was so so nice and accomodating, and for 3 people, with 3 big frufru drinks, and little mini desserts it cost $ 80 with tip and all… absolutely amazed.

Food has gotten much better since they changed their name and concept last year. New Orleans pasta is very tasty. Massive plate loaded with shrimp, sausage and chicken. Lots of flavor and a spicy kick. Onion ring app– nice presentation and again, a huge portion. Hubby and son like the country fried steak and chicken plates. I’ve just realized everything is done big here lol. Food, desserts and drinks. Def get what you pay for. Service has been good every time we have been in so far. Parking is ample and the restaurant is normally busy. Wait times for food are not bad though. They really sling some food out in the kitchen! If there is a wait to be seated, they give you a buzzer to notify when table is ready. A worthwhile stop if you are in the area. And it’s way better than Chili’s or Applebee’s which are both nearby.

Consistently awesome service. The cheese bites are amazing. Try the pot pie, baked potato soup, the chicken strips, any of the salads. Needless to say, everything is good here. And… the croissants are delectable.

We, 17 of us, met here to visit my middle son over the new year holiday. Since we were a large group, it took a 1\2 hour to get seated. The bar was a fun place to wait. The food was good, served timely, and accurately. We had a nice experience. Did not feel rushed at any point.

Cheddar’s has been one of my go-to places for delicious and affordable meals. I love their chicken dishes and cocktails! The Texas Sweet Tea is my favorite. It comes in a huge cocktail glass and it’s pretty potent! The service is always great. The kitchen mistakenly omitted the shrimp in my husband’s Key West Chicken and Shrimp entrée and our server was very apologetic about it. A few minutes later, the manager comes back with our meals and said that the confusion was already being investigated as we speak. He also mentioned that they threw out his first order and replaced it with a new one because of their strict standards. We always have a great time when we dine here. Great value for money and very tasty meals are in store for you.

I don’t normally do reviews for chains/franchises… But I will for this… I had their onion rings and a chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans… Sat at the bar… Service was awesome and food was awesome… Will be back to try some of the other menu options…

Cheddars is really good if you’re looking for a nice meal at a great price. They have a lot of things made from scratch which is great, their drinks are very delicious and cheap, I would highly recommend their margarita which is like $ 5. Lol I come here every now and then, their cheese dip is very delicious !

This cheddars was a good outing. There were some issues with interior but the management took care of us without excuses. I would come back for sure. Side note the croissants are great with that honey butter.

I am not a fan of this place at all. I hadn’t tried it so we stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. Had the onion rings to start. they were the best part of the meal. A towering plateful that was definitely overkill but I do love onion rings. He ordered the soup and sandwich combo with a monte cristo. His soup was cold. I ordered a grilled chicken with a side of broccoli. They forgot to give me the side. Service was slow, place was loud. Was greeted upon walk in by a manager who asked«Can I help you?» Not table for 2? Or 2 for lunch? That irks me. The cold crappy food irked me even more

Is it really from scratch? Possibly. Is it good? Yes! My friends have raved about Cheddar’s for years but I never really bothered to make the pilgrimage up to Roosevelt for a chain restaurant. When this location opened, I just had to try it. I’ve been a few times since it opened, and it’s not my favorite, but it’s pretty darn good. The atmosphere here is actually pretty nice. It’s way better than Chili’s or Applebees; a fishtank, huge fans, and I love the side room with the floor to ceiling windows. The bathrooms are super clean and overall the restaurant feels squeaky clean. The service here is a step above Chili’s or Applebee’s. However we were a little peeved after our waitress made it sound like she would add on a piece of garlic bread to our meal for free, when in reality it cost 70 cents. No big deal though. The appetizers here are pretty good. Their signature spinach dip lives up to its fame, but you can definitely tell it’s not great for your waistline. The nachos are good too but not as good as the dip! Now on to the main courses: there is a pretty varied menu so there is something for everyone, from fried foods, to pastas to a lighter menu with all items under 600 calories. I usually get one of the combo meals, most recently being fried shrimp and chicken nuggets(I know, I know, I’m a kid at heart). The fried shrimp is butterflied and covered with a really light batter which makes it absolutely delicious. The chicken nuggets are similarly delicious and the chicken is really juicy, not dry at all. The steak here is not steakhouse quality but it’s better than the gristle that Applebee’s offers. One of the mediocre dishes is the pasta. The chicken on top of the alfredo was good, but the pasta was dry and the veggies were undercooked. After all, no one should really order pasta outside of an Italian place. The sides here are a little above average. The mac and cheese was really good(at least in mine… one of my friend’s was dry and cold while mine was piping hot and gooey). The fries are above average and the coleslaw was pretty good. You may be wondering if the food here is actually made from scratch(their sign literally reads«Scratch Kitchen». Honestly, I think some of it is – it doesn’t taste horribly processed as other chain restaurants, and some inconsistencies I have had here prove that everything doesn’t come out of a box. But what makes this place the best(relatively speaking) are their low prices. With a beer, apps, and four entrees, the bill was just over $ 40. Not bad at all! Most items are in the $ 8-$ 12 range, basically the same price as Chili’s or Applebees these days. This place is great if you have a wide variety of tastes in your party and you are looking for somewhere where you can dine under for $ 15 a person with a nice atmosphere. The food is good to boot!!!

First of all the service was absolutely great. This was my first time eating at Cheddar’s and I see I won’t be a stranger. I’m new to the Tampa Bay area, while I was running errands, I met a nice woman who invited me to lunch. Our first choice was closed on Mondays so she suggested Cheddar’s. The waitress wish I could remember her name was a doll. My dining companion and I started off with the Triple Treat Sampler which comes with loaded potato skins, chicken tenders and Wisconsin cheese bites, yum! I ordered the Monte Cristo, was good. But what sealed the deal for me is when the manager came to the table and asked how was everything, I told him it was my first visit and he surprised me with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies, was a great visit from start to finish and that’s why I gave them 5 stars!!!

The portions are a nice size, the food is cheap, and the service has always been good. You may like it but I don’t get this place. It’s very nice inside, almost Hawaiian or tropical themed yet the menu is pretty all over. Fried chicken, ribs, tacos etc. It has a little of everything, which is good, however it’s all just«all right». The honey butter croissants they are famous for are only served complimentary with their salads. I don’t know if this is policy, but the 5 times I’ve been there(someone else bought, otherwise I would not have visited with such frequency) they don’t just refill the drink, they take the cup with them and bring it back refilled. I’m not very comfortable with that, I never trust that’s my same cup.

The food and service was awesome. I got chicken tenders and fries. The chicken was juicy and the crust was perfect. Best chicken texts I’ve had in a long time. The fries were cooked just the way I like them. My coleslaw was bland unfortunately. My boyfriend got a bacon cheeseburger and it massive! He thought it was delicious.

Cheap food, great drinks, how can you complain? I love getting their combo plates, usually settle with the ribs and chicken tenders. But I’ve had their other dishes and it’s a lot of food! I tried their new mac n cheese and it was alright, so if you’re looking for a cheesy fix then go with the broccoli cheese casserole instead. I wish they were open later so I wouldn’t go to Chili’s and Applebee’s out of late night desperation.

Think a less expensive version of Chili’s… An abundant menu, but nothing is that phenomenal that you’re craving it the next day. I typically order the you pick 2 combo and get the bowl of chicken tortilla soup and a half a club sandwich. Both are solid choices. I also like their spinach and artichoke dip, but no need to add on the extra calories unless there is a table full of people to share them with.

First time at this location on park blvd in pinellas park. Would go 3 ½ stars 4 stars for ambience 4 stars for prices 3 for very few veggie friendly foods. All sides have some form of meat products I ordered the salmon and it was ok. Had a Long Island iced tea and again it was just ok. Six others ordered burgers and seemed to enjoy. Not gourmet food by any means but ok when you just gotta eat a quick meal. Along the lines of Applebee’s.
