My favorite is the small size«fish and chips» … the small always fills me up. The fish is «perfect» and fries too … This is my favorite place for very affordable fish and chips… Since I’m local, it’s easy to just stop by in very casual attire … Not fancy, but good service and quick delicious fish & chips … mmmmm

Burger was good. Not the cleanest place, but service was ok. They just get by with the bare minimum here. Looks like they do not strive to be improve, I think because they stay busy no matter. Anyways just mediocre food and service.

Big versatile menu – clam chowder holds up well to «Splash» & «Brad’s» offerings IMO. Good & engaging service. For sports buffs, 8 screens, 2BIG just above the bar but accessible to table seating diners.

We had hamburgers, which were very good. Our waitress got our orders perfect, even with all our substitutions. They have amazing French Fries.

bartender was outstanding, the b52 adult .ilk shake was fantastic!!! We had a gr=are time, the bonanza burger is for the true big eater. One pound of handmade pattys with all the trimmings. The half and half fries and onion rings were fresh and great. The Turkey BLT huge. Fun place and great service.

Absolut shit! There are 8 of us and the best is the beer and malt vinegar! Burgers are overcooked, even though promised try are all cooked medium. Waitress was rude! I asked for manager 3 times before I got one! Skip this place at all cost!

Cool Cat Café has a fun diner style atmosphere, with friendly staff, and excellent burgers. I have been their twice and I have fallen in love with their burgers. I have had the Bogey Burger that has bacon and cheese. The meat is really tasty and the fries and onion rings on the side are great too. I recommend having one of their shakes although they are a little pricey they are very tasty!!! I have had the Cookie Monster and the Chunky Maui Monkey and both were great. Word to the wise though… at all costs avoid the water!!! It tastes like old gnarly pipes so get something else.

I have been here multiple times now and keep coming back. That says a lot when your a local. I don’t really even like hamburgers but I must say their burgers are awesome as is the variety on the menu. This last time I tried the chicken sandwich and we’ll just as good. The service is always great also!

Good. Quick. Nice waitress. We were traveling thru California from a convention in Reno, NV just to see the sights along the way before heading home to Alabama. This was a casual, comfortable, affordable place to eat and ask a few questions. Our waitress was very helpful. I wish I could remember her name.

Good place for lunch if you are local and it is tourist season. Splash and Brad’s seem to always have long lines. Cool cat has a larger space and seats way more. They have an awesome milk shake and burger selection, but their chowder and chili are also really good. The fries look hand cut. It’s a little more expensive than Splash, but not as expensive as Brad’s or Hoagies.

Came here only because the Splash Café had a line that was a little too long for my taste, and we were hungry after a long drive. So no wait made the choice an easy one. I wasn’t expect a while lot, but was surprised that it wasn’t actually bad. They do need more seafood as it’s right by the beach, but I can deal with a burger when I’m really hungry. I got the sourdough sandwich which was fantastic and is very similar to one at BJ’s.(well they actually got rid of it at BJ’s…) Service was OK, and it got really rowdy thank to the bar in the middle of the place, which is odd, as it seems more like a family type place. There were a ton of kids here, so it was weird seeing some dude flip out because he was drunk. Either way, not as bad as I thought it was going to be and food was pretty tasty overall.

Cool Cat Café is located right by the beach so it’s a convenient place to stop and grab lunch or dinner if you’re spending the day at the beach. You can easily find street parking. I think the streets around the restaurant you have to pay for parking but if you drive towards the houses for a couple of blocks, you can find street parking for free. I had the small fish and chips and it was very filling. Came with 2 large pieces of fish and a lot of fries. It was decently good, but nothing too special. It came out to around $ 9. My friend had a burger and it was HUGE! She said it was good. Service was pretty good. Our waiter checked on us several times.

We had our lunch here. We had the Dream Lover Veggie Burger with fries and the Hula Chicken Sandwich. Both were very tasty. The fries were so delicious! Very nice place near the Beach with very good food and some Vegetarian Burgers(you don’t find them so offen). Friendly Service and a very tasty Mojito after our Dinner!

Cool cats is right by the pier parking in sunny Pismo Beach, CA. By the time we got here for dinner we had had a full day in the sand, sun and surf and we’re all exhausted. Cool Cats was just what we needed. The walls are adorned with old actors and actresses of the iconic 40s, 50s and 60s. But still has the beachy vibe. Upon entering we were greeted by a hostess who sat us and then our waiter came soon. Appetizer: onion rings– 4 stars Main: the Duke burger-4 stars, fish n chips– 3 stars No dessert The service was alright. Food was average I’d say. Nothing too special but not bad either. Restrooms were disgusting. Lots of young teens work here with that seemed to put off a lot of «DGAF» vibes. Cool cats, 3 stars.

Food is meh and the place was loud! Our group of 10 chose this place on a Sat evening since Splash had a long line and not many big tables to dine on. A few of us ordered the catch of the day for $ 22. That day, it was Wahoo fish. You’d think that fresh fish by the beach would be pricey but delicious. Although the flavor was good, it was definitely overcooked and rubbery. Portion was also small for the price. The sides were steamed rice and garlic toast. Why would they have 2 starches as sides? We all agreed a side of veggies would have been better. Hubby ordered the fish n chips and wasn’t crazy about it. I had one of the fries and it was too crunchy, like it had been refried. Service was friendly but it took a couple of times for them to do something about the fan which was blowing very hard right on top on us on a cool night. Also, one of the waitresses asked if we wanted«anything, soy sauce???» I looked around and realized we were the only Asians so not sure if that was just ignorance or just racist. But no, we dont put soy sauce in our burgers or fish n fries… we just laughed it off. They had live music and some sort of raffle going on so it was very busy and loud. Would definitely not be back.

This place is ok. Nothing special. Fish and chips: Pretty good. Fries were overcooked. I’m not the only one who thinks this. Cole slaw tasted like pineapple, not sure if this was an accident but I didn’t like it. Burger: Also good. Not amazing, but solid. Service: Slow. Took at least 5 minutes after being seated for an acknowledgement. Would’ve liked to have heard an «I’ll be right with you» from one of the 3 servers that passed our table. Granted, they were busy. This place will do in a pinch. Wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here though. But hey, give it a shot if you like.
