Asian Express

Been here quite a few times and everytime i have been here it has been great. Great prices. I love that the food is always fresh. I cannot tell you how many times i have been to places with unfresh food. Always friendly when i come in. My kids love to come here. The shrimp is good and the hot and spicy chicken is great.

Great food and always reliable. Love going and getting 3 items for under $ 7. Not the best Chinese food in town but the portions and quality is amazing for it’s price. A prime stop if you’re looking for a quick and cheap bite.

Ahh Asian Express, the previous restaurant «Chinatown» the owners moved and the current owners who use to own «Queen Egg Roll» in Antioch took over, gave the place a slight facelift and brought over their flair and experience and what we have here is a solid Chinese Restaurant here in Pittsburg.
They have really great prices carried over from their previous restaurant, but the quality of the foof is significantly better, like way better, seems like they went to cooking school and got better cooks, and if the cook or cooks are the same, then bravo! I usually get the two entrée plate, with the optional fried rice, steamed rice or chowmain that seems pretty standard at most hot light styled chinese restaurants ($ 5.75) For that one, they have other combo options as well and a la carte options as well @ reasonable prices. Service here is a hit or miss, I seem to always catch them in a bad mood, but the food is good. Not very many options for the vegan or vegetarian here, which is a downside with alot of Chinese establishments now in days although I’m not vegan or vegetarian, for fasting purposes it would be nice to have some non meat items, even the fried rice and chowmain have chicken in it.
To wrap this up, if you’re in the east bay and looking to have a quick meal, come try this place and Unilocal about it, is filling and the portions are great.

This place was shitty, it is the one worst Chinese food places I’ve been to. I would give it half a star but it doesn’t that how bad this place is. Terrible food!!!

The food is descent. If you’re looking for familiar Chinese food, it’s available. I wished they offered more in appetizers, like crab Rangoon. But as far as quality, it’s descent.
The prices here are excellent. For a family of 3, you can get a meal for $ 13.99. (Just need to ask that they throw in an extra egg roll since that meal only comes with 2).
The customer service is descent. The ladies that work at the front counter are friendly and helpful.
Overall, if you’re looking for Chinese food at a descent price, this is your place.
