Brought 3 items to go. Outstanding. Salt Fish Chicken Fried Rice. Well prepared. Traditional Cantonese. 4 stars in the old Chinese way. String beans sauté with fillet tenderloin and jumbo shrimp. So delicious. 5 stars. Battered Cod fillets with fermented Black Beans with medley of colorful peppers and onion. 5 stars. A dish to remember. The fried rice was inexpensive. 7 or 8 dollars. The other two entries appx $ 16 each. Seemed expensive. But food quality was exceptional and portion size was generous.

This review is for their togo only. I’ve never actually dined inside but my mother always gets her food comped since she gambles a lot and has points. Therefore, she will order food togo for dinner. She always orders the beef chow fun xo, glazed pork rib, and the scallop xo. I enjoy every dish and I don’t have any complaints on the taste. I really like the pork rib especially. It’s very flavorful. The only complaint that I would have is that it can be pricy if you don’t have any points to use to pay. The chow fun is $ 16, pork rib is $ 14, and the scallop with snow peas is $ 27. Also, the portion for the scallop dish is quite small. Other than that, I would say the Chinese food here is pretty good!

The worse restaurant I have eaten at I would think about it twice before going there my food was like it came from the box that you heat yourself

First and foremost… Great ambience. Helpful servers… ours was very accommodating I have to say I’ve eaten here and loved the food on previous visit. This time– I actually think I would have preferred the buffet downstairs. The dim sum was decent. But for the price. It was just ok. Hubby ordered the won ton soup and said it was ok in flavor. And I ordered the pork ribs with rice. Not much flavor compared to other restaurants I’ve gone to. And some of the rice was still raw. Our server gladly brought out a new bowl of rice. I think this may have been an off day– as again in past, I’ve enjoyed their food– maybe next time. I will definitely will order from the dinner menu.

Celebrated my girlfriends birthday here after losing a lot of money at redhawk. I was bummed out that they cant serve crab at this time cause of the pacific ocean regulations, but we did get lobster with xo sauce. It wasn’t really a xo sauce though, looked like a deep fried toppings either garlic or onions or maybe both. Anyways the lobster was market price which was $ 88! Wowzers! And the salt and pepper shrimp looked like something from long john silver and was served with sweet and sour sauce. I didn’t like it at all, but the pork, beef, rice, and chicken dish were great! I just don’t recommend any of their seafood dish

Service was bad, took forever to get water, soy sauce and the bill. They forgot about us but we were right next to the kitchen. The food is overpriced for not even good quality.

Not impressed Came here for dinner last night. Small portioned entrees. Over priced and some of the food was bland. Three people, three entrees and each had a bowl of wonton soup = $ 70(w/tax), really? What did we order again? Wonton Soup $ 6.50/bowl — the soup was okay with huge portions of wontons(3) and green onions, the bowl was a little bigger than many Chinese places I’ve eaten but I guess that’s what makes it $ 6.50/bowl :( Honey Glazed Walnut Prawns $ 20.00 — the prawns are huge and the presentation nice. It was delicious but I’ve had this elsewhere also and in bigger portion and just as delicious… what makes it $ 20 again? oh yeah, right, the presentation :( Pearl Fried Rice $ 12.75 — Not impressed. It had chicken, shrimp, beef and some veggies in it. It could use more taste. This is Americanized fried rice, not authentic Chinese :( Pearl House Chow Mein $ 12.75 — I didn’t even get a chance to taste this. Had it to go. This chow mein was light in color. I’m used to seeing the noodles more darker brown. Maybe it was the lighting around our table. Service was good, though. Our server was nice and friendly. We sat by the glass waterfall. Ambiance was nice in a dimly lit restaurant. The restaurant is right outside their main stage where they have a huge bar and where they have cover bands perform. That’s all.

Let’s start with the good. It was nice to escape the dense clouds of smoke that fill the casino. Pearl house was clean, and the service was average. No complaints there. I actually wouldn’t take stars away for bad service. It’s all abou I believe that Chinese food is like pizza. Even when it’s bad, usually you’ll still eat it. With that being said, this was pretty bad. We ordered the general chicken, and the pearl house chow mein. The chicken wasn’t terrible, I ate it. Now, if you had Panda Express chicken compete with this chicken, panda would win. It would be a flawless victory. Panda is also 10 dollars cheaper.

My wife and I have eaten here twice. not anymore. First time was great, good service and food. Second time we went my wife ordered something she probably shouldn’t have«rancid fish» dish basically. This thing was so appalling that you could literally smell it coming. Our server thought it was funny(oh the dumb white woman). Well we couldn’t physically eat it and our server never apologized or offered to replace it.nothing. Now this is also a casino that my wife visit’s frequently but alas we will no longer eat their food after that.

It’s just ok, you don’t get a lot of food for the money. And the casino is so depressing.

Having recently move here from the San Francisco area, we were craving our great Chinese food that we were used to. Pearl Asian Cuisine came highly recommended so we were excited to give it a try. We were very disappointed at the quality of the food. It was some of the worst we have ever had. When we made our concerns known to our waiter, he promptly brought us a dessert which was nice. The staff was great and the ambiance very nice but we will not be returning.

My dad LOVES coming here for the Peking Duck, and I’d have to say, it is pretty good. When we go, there’s always like the 7 to 20 of us so we’ve ordered a lot of dishes from this place… we literally go to this place just for the food since non of us gambles. Will post pictures from my phone soon! But we get the usual: the Honey Walnut Shrimp, Bok Choy and Tofu, fried rice, noodles, beef and vegetables, and the duck!(The duck takes about 20 minutes to come out so if you can’t hang that long, order a few appetizers first, like the calamari or spring rolls.

We were disappointed with the level of customer service. It was difficult getting our waiter’s attention despite being one of only two customers in the restaurant. The chow mein and general chicken reminded me of bad Chinese take out. Overly sauced and too much grease. The dinner was overpriced considering the poor quality of the food.

Just as good as fats. And for me it is closer. It is also a little bit cheaper. The service was very good. People were very friendly. Try the shrimp. The lettuce wraps were very delicious. The only place up in this part of the foothills with such diversity on the menu.

Yes we go there quite abit. At least twice a month. Its a very cozy place. IF your a LARGE sized person and trying to get a booth. do not even try. Please ask for a large circular table. Because by the time you order and get your food. The realestate for the booth seats is pretty minimal. The food is great there. Because I know everytime, every single time we go there the Chef politely comes out and asks us how our meal is. The price is pretty good(all things considered). There is authentic Chinese cooking styles being done — yes the cooks /chefs are Chinese(Cantonese and Manderin). We tried the fried squid, mu-shu chicken, sea anenome, and a variety of other dishes. It was all fantastic. The sauces were authentic to the taste — without the MSG . Sound level was really nice cause it was muffled by the walls and heavy door from the casino floor to the restaurant. — A very pleasurable experience.

Best food at Red Hawk. You won’t be disappointed. Ask to sit in Andy’s section. He’s the best waiter there. I’ve never had a bad meal here and I don’t think I ever will! Love the potsticker’s, chow main Hong Kong style and shrimp fried rice are to die for.

Decided to try this place because the buffet was closed. I really regret that I even considered trying here. The workers here are not friendly at all. The waiter who served us was Andy. When he took my order, I clearly stated to him that I wanted«pu’erh» tea. It was on the menu and he said okay. When he came to give me the tea, it was jasmine tea. I told him about it and he acted surprised and took it back. Then he came back and told me they ran out of «pu’erh» tea and only had jasmine and oolong. He could of told me in the beginning that they ran out of that tea instead of serving me the tea that I didn’t want. I felt very offended because I drank tea ever since I was a little girl so I know what’s pu’erh tea. I was very upset after and now the food was even worse. The couple pieces of pork chop did not look as appetizing. There were no side veggies cooked with the meat. AND what’s even worse is they charge us for rice! What kind of family restaurant serves dishes without rice? Also, I guess they were closing in 30 minutes because all of a sudden, the workers made a racket by collecting all the utensils from the tables. It was very loud and disrespectful because we were still eating. Andy only came back to check on us once and he took our plate away even though we were not done with it. Overall, all red hawk casino goers should not even consider giving this place a try. AND a note to ANDY,(if you’re reading this), Nice try in giving me some cheap jasmine tea.

This is probably the best place to eat in the entire casino. I’ve tried most of their restaurants since my dad likes going to Red Hawk. The Chinese food is quite expensive… if you are looking for large portions and light on the wallet, this isn’t the place for you. Each dish is around $ 20 and can barely feed 1 – 2 people. It’s also not very authentic although the dishes are tasty. The service, on the other hand, was quite good. He was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed. Eating at Red Hawk? Skip everything else… eat some Americanized Chinese food at Pearl… or bring your own food.

Checked this place as this is the closes to me that serves Phở without having to drive to Stockton Blvd for a great Phở. I got to the restaurant and found they have lunch special for $ 4.99. Unfortunately that day, Phở was not part of the deal. Since I wanted to try how their Phở was, I ordered for their regular menu. The bowl was $ 8.99. A little pricier than good places in Stockton. Again, this is close so I wanted to try it. Food came and was served. First thing I notice was the bowl of Thai Basil which was fresh but the bean sprouts were old. You can tell because the seed heads are turning brown. Since this is an integral part of the meal for me, i just pinched them off. Soup itself was not bad, definitely could be better. Noodles were al-dente and the beef balls were fine. Overall, meal was acceptable, just don’t expect deep beef broth since this is a restaurant in a casino. Their other selection looks fine when looking at the menu but very pricey unless you go during lunch and order from the lunch special menu. So I give the food a 3 but I would give wait staff a 1. The waiter that was tending to the tables was not attentive. I observed him serving an older couple that also ordered Phở and he just place the bowls on the edge of the table. He didn’t even place them in front of the customer. He did this to all of the patrons that came in. I figure he is this rude because most of the customers are casino patrons that are their for quick and cheap meal. Still, he should be more tending to his patrons. Also, I wanted to order something to go from their lunch menu since it was only $ 4.99 for Fried Noodles but the hostess that rings the order was away from her station. I had to ask the table cleaners to search for her. She was gone for a good 15 – 20 minutes. Will I come back? On a normal day, not likely. I will only come back here to if I’m desperate and don’t want to drive to Stockton Blvd, maybe.
