I wish I could give this place more then five stars. The upstairs seating has a wonderful view of Main Street(and great people watching) the place is small but the flavors are anything but. Every time I leave this place I say«wow I think that was the best meal I have ever had» it just gets betters every time. This time we started off with the meat and cheese platter, because when meat and cheese platters are an option you always choose it and you won’t regret choosing the chefs platter. Then I had the pork belly confit and let me tell you, out of this world. The term«melt in your mouth» is not an exaggeration, it literally melts in your mouth. Served with a caramelized pearl onion and a pistachio purée it pairs perfectly together. My boyfriend got the sausage sandwich with house made sausage and condiments, for having such few ingredients the flavors were so delicious and just a hint of spice lingered. We finished off our meal with an orange mascarpone crème brûlée and let me tell you… amazing, absolutely amazing. The orange with the creamy mascarpone was the perfect end to this meal. Always the freshest ingredients and great service, a must visit when on Main Street or just any time in general.

I’ve only been here for lunch but the sandwiches are wonderful. My favorites are the sweet potato Gruyère and the salmon sandwich. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, not over seasoned. A perfect balance of flavors and the bread is to die for.

In the midst of construction and in downtown Placerville, I found it so random that The Farm Table exists here. I’m so perplexed about this place but very happy it exists! The food was perfect and fresh — just as expected for a farm to table restaurant. We tried the sausage sandwiches with house salad and potato salad. I have no words to describe the amazingness of the soft and warm bread in the sandwich. Just… WOW. The sausage was also so delicious. I loved the green dressing for the salad(note that it is $ 3 extra for salad). A perfect lunch. Highly recommended!

A wonderful find with truly excellent food. We orders the charcuterie plate. The pickled grapes and cheese and meats was so good. I wish I could buy a crate of the pickled grapes. They do have a fridge with an assortment of homemade sausages and things you can buy to take with you. I can’t wait to go back

This place is so great. Wonderful old building that shows through in the current décor. Upstairs seating is nice and brightly lit by sunshine. We ordered two different panini’s and they are both excellent. There really is something better about farm to table and it shines though here. I recommend coming and sharing some food. Some of the sandwiches are fairly large. But super tasty!

There is a new Farm to Fork specialty restaurant in Placerville. The Farm Table has friendly and fantastic staff, beautiful and fresh food, and is definately worth the trip! As a charcurerie shop the meat is particularly delicious!

Vanessa was a fantastic server. For a table of four we were able to reserve a table right away and we were seated immediately. All the food was amazing! Mushroom toast was outstanding. Great job and very reasonable pricing! Thanks Farm Table!

Family owned and very friendly staff. The food is out of this world fresh and delicious. We have also purchased some sausages to take home which are house made. Absolutely wonderful. I also find that if I ever have any questions about anything the owners and staff are very helpful. Love the view of Main Street from upstairs. The menu is always changing and being updated. This is a perfect place we always take our out of town guests for dinner. Our guests are always impressed with the delicious food. And did I mention how fresh everything is! Just love it here!

Great place for both lunch and dinner. I own a business right across the street from The Farm Table and frequently call in my lunch to go. If I happen to call while I have customers browsing, they always comment on how good my order sounds and I point them across the street for lunch :)

I have frequented this place for a take out sandwich, as well as heir prix fixe New Years Eve dinner. First, the sandwich. It wasn’t large, but it was tasty. No sides included, and I think it set me back about $ 8. Service has been friendly, albeit a little awkward, both times I’ve been in. Ok, now dinner. They only do dinner a few nights a week(Thurs — Sunday maybe?). We went for New Years Eve, and we’re actually seated in the cool upstairs dining area right by the window. We didn’t even ask, it just happened, so that was pretty neat. First course of soups were tasty. Salads were nothing to write home about. I ordered their pork oso bucco, but they had run out of pork, so we’re serving the dish with chicken. Another score — I like chicken way better than pork. My husband got the surf and turf. He liked it. My dinner came on a bed of roasted veggies and polenta. Polenta is really hit and miss with me because a lot of restaurants seem to serve it in a very heavy consistency. Not this place — light, fluffy polenta, delicious roasted veggies and super tender chicken. Desert, we opted for the pistachio cake. It was really good — not too sweet. We also got the wine pairings, which were good wines, generous pours and only $ 15. I really enjoyed my meal and was pleasantly surprised that 2 people, 4 courses and wine pairings set us back about $ 150. I guess I’m used to Sacramento prices, but that seems pretty good for a very special, tasty meal.

Went here for a weekday lunch in between wineries on recommendation from the Boeger staff. Great little place downtown with some of the original architecture worked into the décor. The food is delicious and well-priced for being so fresh and local. Several sandwich options served on rustic Ciabattta as well as soups and charcuterie plates. More extensive menu options served for dinner it looked like. Can get a beer or glass of wine as well. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because, like others have mentioned, had to wait a good 15 – 25 minutes for food to be prepared. We were not in a hurry so we didn’t mind, but probably not the best place to go if you’re in a hurry. Also bought some bacon rosemary sausage to bring home. The name alone caught my attention but don’t know if it was worth the $ 11 I spent for it. Wasn’t out of this world or anything.

Best fried organic chicken I have ever tasted in my life. It takes a good 30 mins to prepare so order the cheese platter and wait for the meal of your life. I would love to eat here every weekend.

Such a cute spot! Everything tastes very fresh. The service was great, they event my friend sample the soup of the day before ordering. The location is adorable; just like a modern farmhouse! Good was amazing. I tried the Apple & Brie Sandwich and my friend had the Ham and Cheese. Both were amazing.

The food at the The Farm Table was delicious. If you are driving to Tahoe or are in the Placerville area I highly recommend The Farm Table. Their concept if farm to table. The freshness you can taste in their food. The sandwiches were served on rustic Ciabatta bread. The brie sandwich was amazing! Warm Ciabatta bread was served at the table with soft salted butter. When I in the Sacramento area I will plan to eat at the Farm Table!

Wow. What this husband & wife team do is amazing. Everything homemade. The finest ingredients. This is not your typical café by any means. It’s more of a specialty house of gourmet goods. Charcuterie. Duck confit. Duck pastrami. Pork belly confit. Pickled grapes?! Sausages in a flavor for everyone. Chili cherry, herbs de Provence, mild Italian, spicy lamb… to name a few. Pâté. Garnished w duck confit & pistachio. Prosciutto. And the list goes on. They even make their own mustard. There’s a deli case chock full of sandwiches that are about the size of my head. And I haven’t even mentioned dinner! 3 nights a week they serve dinner & the café turns into a full on bistro. Rabbit pot pie? Their house made aforementioned duck confit? That’s what I would have ordered, but unfortunately we were on our way back to SF from Tahoe & wouldn’t be here for dinner. But I now fully understand that if you ever find yourself in Placerville, this is the place to eat. We grabbed the herbs de Provence sausage to take home to make the next day. And some potato salad to munch on for the rest of the drive. Both were home runs. The sausages were mild but full of flavors, you could really taste the herbs. And the potato salad… chunks of potato w chopped celery, onions, & hard boiled eggs… tasted like they just made it not 20 minutes before. They nailed it. Beyond impressive. 5 stars.

The food at Farm Table feels mostly like French Country food with a strong butcher’s flair. There are lots of twists in this menu that make it very interesting. The total blend creates a stunning new addition to the Placerville food scene. The menu focuses on fine meats, even books about butchering don the shelves of the«store» look on the ground floor. The upstairs has the ambiance of an 1800’s hotel with white table clothes and good privacy. Great for a date night experience. This is a unique restaurant configuration and it all works! Food wise is where The Farm Table excels. I’ve tried the Trout, Short Ribs, Rabbit Pot Pie, and Cajun Prawns with Grits, all beautifully executed, and most of all memorable. One of the finest dishes are the Steamed Mussels, they come with white beans and heavenly bacon in well seasoned broth. The wine list and dessert menu could be construed as a bit limiting by some. There are some excellent choices though, go and explore. The core menu is what shines here and the spectrum is amazing. If you are looking to spend less just choose one of the many sandwiches or the daily soup choices, here too, one can find treasure without giving up to much treasure. Farm to Table dining has found a new master purveyor here in always improving Placerville.
