My favorite place for Chinese food. I love the egg drop soup, the best I have ever had. I have had the egg rolls, orange chicken, and sweet and sour chicken, and always had enough for 2 meals. I wish they had a nice dining room rather than a fast food sit down area, to dine in, it would then be the perfect place.

**Carry-Out Review Only** I totally can’t understand the negative reviews of this restaurant! We placed an order on Friday evening, not sure what to expect. We’ve lived in Plainfield for six months now, but haven’t ordered Chinese yet due to some scary reviews of local restaurants. Enter: China China. The ordering process was easy. Sometimes phone ordering can be difficult, but we experienced no difficulty. Pick-up was just fine and on-time. We ordered crab rangoon, egg rolls, and two small fried rice orders(pork & vegetable). –We tasted no curry or «funny» taste, abnormal from Chinese food we’ve had in the past(as other reviewers have stated). –Crab rangoon pieces were HUGE and almost OVERLY stuffed — a problem I’ve never had. Fresh and big chunks of crab. –Egg rolls were also HUGE and very good. –Fried rice was fantastic and loaded with pork and vegetables. For the price… again, I can’t understand the negative reviews! My bottomless pit husband and I couldn’t finish everything. So, for $ 20, we will have two FULL meals each, as we have leftover crab rangoon AND fried rice. This translates to roughly $ 5 a meal. You can’t eat cheaper than that unless you’re eating fast food. Come visit! Nevermind the negative reviews! I’ll for sure update if I run into any problems, but don’t anticipate them.

Gave this place another try and their food is still good. Again with the portions, smaller than I’m used to(not small, just smaller) but you still get full. I tried the orange chicken and red curry fried rice. Very good and very close

I gave this place two tries. Not impressed with anything we ordered and if your looking for typical fast food chinese taste, you won’t find it here.

This place is located in a strip mall with Family Video. They’re fast and friendly. The food is surprisingly very good and reasonable. Our family order at a comparable Chinese restaurant is 25% more yet taste can’t compete with China China. We’ve made three orders from China China and everything is good. Give it a try and you’ll see!!! I highly recommend.

The food here is pretty good. It falls into an average Chinese food category when compared to other restaurants in the area. The bonus that China China offers is their Red Curry Fried Rice(really good). Curry may be the mystery spice used in some dishes that is throwing off the taste buds of other reviewers. For us, China China is close, food is good and pricing is inline with their competitors.

I remember I went in here once and ended up finding a strand of hair in my food. It’s really unsanitary.

Very clean place. Food was excellent. I found it after reading the reviews from Unilocal. I will definitely come back here. Lunch box was only $ 5.95. I had Pepper Steak with Chicken Fried rice and the egg roll.

China China is Crap Crap! One worker who answers the phone makes your food and rings you out. Feel sorry for the man but because of this the food is garbage.

5 star review prior but now downgraded to a 3 star. The quality seems to have fallen off along with the portion sizes. They had a really good thing going a year ago so why change and push the regulars away? Back to searching for a go to Chinese fast food restaurant in the area until I see the review here improving again. Ugh!

Eh. The egg rolls had some sort of funky spice or seasoning in them that tasted like cinnamon or all spice. It was different from other egg rolls I’ve had in the past. The Sweet Sour Chicken was not breaded whole meat chunks, it was like processed chicken nugget meat and had tons of breading. The pot stickers taste frozen and are actually gyoza, not the meaty, thick pot stickers I have had at other authentic Chinese restaurants. Disappointing. Makes me miss the potstickers from China House. The spicy BBQ pork was decent and had a lot of vegetables and a flavorful sauce, so I can’t complain about that. Overall, sort of limp… nothing that leaves me wanting to order from them again.

Despite the fact that their portions are a lot smaller then before I would still order from them because they had pretty good food. Today I went to order over the phone and they said I couldn’t place my order till I went in a payed for it because they had it noted that I ordered and never picked up my food! First off, I would never do that! Secondly when I asked what they were talking about they started screaming at me! I’m so done with this place! My business will be going to taste of china from now on! The food is just as good and only a little farther!

Mongolian Beef-beef was tender, but something was missing flavor wise. The egg roll was soaked with grease, like they had been deep fried once and he threw them back in the oil to heat up a 2nd time. Sweet and sour chicken(lunch portion) had the sweet and sour sauce on it in the container instead of on the side, it was a soggy mess. The shrimp fried rice was very good! I’ll try the chicken again requesting the sauce be on the side.

Quick and delicious. Personnel doesn’t smile much but who cares? The food is damn good. Get the Hawaiian dishes and the General Tso’s. Lip smackin’. And they have family meals, a $ 1 menu, a $ 3 menu… where the hell was this place when I was a poor high school kid in NYC? Hidden gem as far as Chinese takeout places go.

I really can’t say enough about this place! They are amazing. Their lunch and dinner specials are huge and so so so good. When we moved here from Ohio I swear we tried every Chinese place in the vicinity of 15 miles from our house. This place is the top of our list and the only place we go for take out. I can come here for lunch and have enough for lunch the next day! Their egg rolls and crab Rangoon is so different but the best I’ve ever had! Love it, try it you won’t be disappointed!

Love the Pork Fried Rice and egg rolls. They seem to use lots of fresh veggies and I never have a bad reaction to their food. Some other Chinese places give me tummy problems, but not this place! Food seems very fresh.

Good food, good price and fast delivery. They use a little curry in the crab rangoon which is different than many places we have used in the past but still good(just different). Careful with the website, while online ordering worked there is no SSL certificate so credit card information could be compromised and hopefully the owner can get that taken care of before it becomes a problem.

cheap, good bang for your buck, typical chinese carryout. I’m adding a star for the curry fried rice — yum!
