Denny’s

What really stands out here is the service. When one of us wanted to make a substitute, the waitress pointed us to an appropriate different menu item that was cheaper and came with a few drink.
We come here a lot. Food is good olé reliable Dennys, complete with 70s and 80s music piped over the speakers.

Well, the last time I went to them was in 2002, so I’ve given them quite a few years now to get better then from my last memory. They have not improved. The waitress yelled at another employee for not keeping the tables clean and not having a booth ready for me. The place was not that crowded. They argued for a while right in front of the customers. There is a fly buzzing around me which was gross and it smelled like I was near the bathroom but I was near the kitchen. The coffee was OK the hashbrowns and eggs are OK the turkey bacon was awful I’m not going to give him another chance I’m going to keep continuing to go down I hope where no matter how crowded it is we always get served fast customer service is awesome and the food is always delicious and a turkey bacon is awesome

The service was great and very prompt! Super quick delivery from order to getting your food as well. Quality of food… Eh… Very very sub par. I could have made myself the exact same thing at home and it would have probably tasted better and would have been better quality. Very fast and convenient though for a quick breakfast if you don’t feel like cooking

An old good American diner, waiters are always smiling, food is fresh and good, I am here for breakfast usually but tried the place also for lunch and dinner. Fresh coffee and nice atmosphere. And free wifi of course…

The servers are very nice but service is extremely slow. Consistently slow. Sometimes the food has been served barely warm and I’ve had to send it back.

Wife and I sat down and ordered and I got up to go wash my hands and a waiter was taking a dump and doing a lot of sniffling not sure what was up with that drugs? Sick? I washed my hands open the door and this waiter was right behind me. WTF he never washed his hands. We left.

The food is Denny’s; I mean it’s not a five-​, four-​, or even really a three-​star restaurant.
But this specific Denny’s deserves really superb customer service ratings because I have never been treated poorly here.
Whether I’m up there with a friend watching a show on my laptop while we eat a midnight snack, or in at some unG-​dly hour with my service dog in training after being illegally removed from IHOP property across the intersection by the police, I have never had a single problem with any of the employees on the floor.
The staff truly deserve recognition for their accessibility record thus far. Leadership at this Denny’s, feel free to contact me for specific names; they deserve something for their hard work and understanding.

Great atmosphere, the server was super nice and was checking on us to make sure that we were doing ok. Food was excellent and hot and fresh. The Brooklyn Spaghetti is awesome. We will be back again!

Best experience yet at the dennys at plano parkway and preston. Awesome service and delicious food.

I visit here regularly and everytime the food has been top notch. The country fried and sirloin steaks are my favorites which are always well cooked and I love their scrambled eggs !! As far as service goes Denny’s surely know how to treat their customers nicely so overall if you are looking for a good day out with family and friends Denny’s will be a great choice.

It took 30 minutes to get my breakfast. When it came the gravy was the only part of it that was warmer than room temp. The dining room was nor even half full so it wasn’t because they were busy. My waitress refilled my milk three times before my food came, and then never came back to see how my food was. I thought it was her first day by the way she acted but I hear f her reminding people to sign out so I think she was a manager.
Long wait, cold food, spotty service.

To be fair, I haven’t been to a Denny’s in a very long time, but I’m pretty sure this one is subpar. I went in with my friend. We both got eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. Our waitress was really slow – it took like 15 minutes to get coffee, another 25 to get our actual food, 10 minutes to waive her down for our check. Honestly terrible. At one point I waived down the manager and told him that the service was really bad and that that particular waitress had been kind of rude. He called the other manager over and they both started speaking in Spanish before glancing at me and my friend, saying something, and then just shrugging and walking away.
All in all, terrible service, poor management, not good food.

This is literally the worst Denny’s I’ve ever been to in my life. The wait staff is completely disinterested. I don’t know what the hell they’re doing, but they’re sure as hell not doing their jobs.
At one point, I sat with an empty glass for twenty minutes. At another point, it took me fifteen minutes to wave down a server to place an order. At one point, I spilled a drink, and had to go behind the server station to get the napkins myself, since nobody noticed or came to help.
The food is mediocre, too, but it’s a Denny’s, so my expectations aren’t exactly high.
I don’t recommend this place, unless you’re not very hungry and feel like spending an hour being ignored by wait staff.

I have work shops over on this side of town about 4 or 5 times a year. I so look forward to these as it 1. Allows me to sleep in, and 2. Allows me to go to Denny’s for breakfast. I love to get a customized slam. The wait staff is excellent! The prices are fair, and the coffee is hot and tasty!

Worst Denny’s service experience so far! When we came in the restaurant only had 3 tables full. Manager told us twice that he will be with us in a minute. After more than 5 minutes of waiting, we got seated. Once seated, 5 minutes later, the server asked us if he can get our drinks. After another 5 minutes, we got our drinks. After another 5 minutes, the server finally took our orders. After another 10 minutes, they refilled our drinks while waiting for the entrees. After another 15 minutes, we finally get our food. Decent food but sloooooooow service.

First of all, this place really deserves a ⁰⁄₅. Anything that could go wrong did. The staff screwed up each of my groups 4 orders, while also seemingly screwing up other table orders simultaneously. One order of our pancakes had a large blonde hair in the whip cream. These pancakes were replaced rather quickly which begs one to wonder if this was REALLY a fresh batch. I had to wait for my order do be redone which was quite frustating considering the snail speed the staff goes at when less than half their tables are full. On top of this, we here the next table say ” … I think there is glass in my pancakes…”. And no it wasn’t a joke. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to this place again. This was a disgusting horrible first impression of the Dennys chain and I’m utterly unimpressed.

This is a nice Dennys and I would have given five stars except for a couple to items I will mention. The restaurant is clean, except for the carpet which was dirty in places and rather tacky with the duck tape holding the carpet down to the tile floor at a place where you enter the restaurant. The menu is extensive. We opted for the $ 2, $ 4, $ 6 section for breakfast and let me assure you a there are plenty of combinations listed that will get you ample food at a reasonable price. We had the pancakes which were eight and delicious. The syrup had been warmed and there was plenty of butter. The wait service was good but could stand a little improvement as we had to ask for coffee refills and also had to ask for a glass of water. The water and refills we feel should have been offered by the waitress. The rest rooms were spotless. Easy parking close to the front door.

It was my first time eating at Denny’s, and everything went better than expected. The inside is clean and orderly. I really enjoyed having a variety of seating options such as booths, open tables, bar style seating at a counter and bar style seating at individual tables. Even though there were a number of patrons, the restaurant was oddly quiet. The décor was tastefully done.
The food is a little on the high end as far as price goes. Taste is pretty good though. 24 hour breakfast is not something to pass up.

It’s what you should expect when at a Diner and has become so hard to find

Went here for breakfast and both the food and service was great. I would highly recommend. The only complaint I have is there are way too many menus to choose from. Yes, I am never happy.
When we arrived, we were promptly seated in a nice comfy booth. The waiter came out and took our drink orders. He gave us time to peruse the many menus. We placed our orders and checked out the free WiFi while we waited. It was just a short wait and our food came to us in a pretty presentation. We would return, next time we are in the neighborhood.
