Good selection of flavors but I think they overcharged us. Not sure if they raised their prices for everyone but they charged us $ 1.75/paleta. The girl behind the counter recommended piñón, which was a pale pink pine nut flavor that was my favorite. Mildly sweet and nutty. We also got strawberries and cream, strawberry, guava, watermelon, chocolate-covered coconut, and frozen mangonada cup. Everything was pretty good but prices are a little high.

Amazing ice cream, it is absolutely delicious!!! Very refreshing. We are definitely going back! It is very inexpensive($ 1.50) and wonderful. They also have the Mexican popsicles there! It is a gem hidden in east Plano. I strongly recommend that you try the mamey ice cream.

4.5 Do you want some good ice cream that’s housemade? Do you want paletas made with nice seasonal fruits? Do you want me to stop asking questions? Go to La Abejita Ice Cream. My friend Irene L. suggested to grab ice cream here. I had no idea what to expect. The store is small and there’s really no seating, but that don’t matter bro. Huge selection of paletas going for 1.50. They have mass produced paletas also… but naw you want the housemade ones. I got the rice and coconut paleta while Irene L. got the lime and Mammy(dunno what that is) ice cream. Rice & Coconut Paleta — pretty much a popsicle bar. It had the flavor profile of Horchata with real coconut flesh in it. It was extremely refreshing and i’ve actually craving one right now. Mammy & lime ice cream — Apparently they don’t use any milk in their ice cream base… i have no idea how they get it so creamy then. The flavors are bright and bold… they are not afraid to make it the star of the show. This place is awesome. A friendly lady there also told us that they chicharones goes hard… they smother it in cheese and meat and ish. DANG!

If you want not so heavy ice cream that’s super fresh in fruit then this place is it! Melon, coconut & Guava ice cream are all winners! Hardly anyone here speaks English & all the customers are Latino as well but who cares if the ice cream is awesome, right? I love«hole in the walls» & this place for sure is a hidden treasure! They also have churros & house made popsicles! :) when I’m inside here it feels like I’m not in the USA… Fun times! They also catered an event for us… more like we got 9 gallons of awesome ice cream for an incredible deal and picked it up from the store! PEOPLEGOEATTHEIRICECREAM!
