I used to own a café that carried high quality gelato so I know what decent gelato tastes like. This place does a pretty good job of creating smooth, creamy gelato. If you think ice cream and gelato are the same thing, you are in for a delicious surprise. Gelato is simply better in my opinion.

The gelato here is really good, just like in Italy, but the reason that prompted us to write this review is mainly because of this young lady(I think her name is Brin) she is super friendly and helpful. We are going to move to TX from CA in Sept and people like her made us felt very comfortable moving her.

My Girlfriend and I ate here on Friday nigh. We sat at the bench overlooking behind the counter and observed one of the staff take a scoop/padlle and knock gelato off into the trash can then scrape the paddle on the edge and side of the trashcan. She then used the same paddle to scoop more ice cream without washing it or get a new one.

Almost went to Cold Stone, then saw their crappy 2.5-star Unilocal average and we found Paciugo! Glad we did. TONS of flavors to choose from, sampled multiple, chatted with the server about her favorites and popular choices, and ended up getting cookies n cream(called something else here) and tiramasu. Could have gotten more flavors in our medium cone but was afraid to. It was not crowded while we were there(Saturday around 3 pm), so that may have helped our leisurely, choosey experience. Nice way to enjoy the Shops, walking around enjoying delicious gelato. Definitely recommend!

Ok now I do not like to leave bad reviews but I was appalled at what I saw at this shop tonight. I have loved this place for years and I will never go back to this one again. I was sitting in the booth to the left of the coolers where you can see behind the employees with my boyfriend. I then watched a girl scoop gelato into a cup. she must have noticed something wrong with it because she took the scooper to the trash can below the counter. She began to bang the scooper on the side of the can. When that didn’t work she scraped the gelato off the scoop using the side of the trash can. All fine in my book, until she took the scooper and WITHOUTWASHINGIT put it back into the flavored gelato she got it from. I am now appalled and nauseous. I wasn’t even able to eat the gelato i paid $ 6 for. COMPLETELYUNACCEPTABLE!

I love Paciugo. Seriously this stuff is amazing and they have a great variety of flavors. I love that you can select up to 3 different choices for a small serving! They let us sample a variety of choices before deciding and didn’t seem to rush us or be bothered despite being rather busy. If you are an ice cream/gelato fan you won’t be disappointed.

The waitress looked not very happy and not interested I her job. I ordered a box of ice cream to go, and she did not give me a full box which I can always get on the other location on Preston road. She did not put a plastic sheet on the ice cream either. In addition, she only gave a plastic bag and my receipt after I asked for it. Really disappointing experience! I will not come to this store again even the the one on Preston road is 2 more miles away from where I live. I came to this shop on March 5th, Saturday, afternoon.

Great selections, and great tasting gelato! I highly recommend the pistachio! Customer service is great, and you can taste anything without feeling bothersome. The small size is perfect way to satisfy your taste buds!

I typically get the amarena and amaretto in a piccolo. This time, I got rocky road and amarena to share with my husband. When we sat down to eat, we found a small, brown hair at the top of our ice cream. Mmm. The staff replaced our ice cream but that just ruins my appetite. Staff was friendly and quick to solve the issue… just…hair.

You honestly cannot go wrong with any flavor here. I was very pleased with my sea salt caramel and coconut gelato. You could feel the texture of the coconut flakes in the coconut gelato.

Was there last night abd was very disappointed with the price of a kids serving. I find it hard to pay $ 3.56(including tax) for a kids serving no matter how good the product is.

I live right down the street from Shops at Legacy and I only discovered this Paciugo last week. I feel tard-adjacent for crossing 121 to go to the Stonebriar one. We all know this is a gelato shop. They are concentrated happiness in tiny cups. Your eyes will say you need a large. BUTCALMTHEEFFDOWN. You really only need a small. Unless you have a raging sweet tooth. Because a teaspoon of gelato is equal to the sweetness of a quarter cup of ice cream. I also just discovered the affogato style last week — and HOLYSHIT I CAN’T GOBACK. We went after dinner on a Wednesday night. We were happily greeted by the most patient and smiling African-american employee on the planet. I am calling him out on this because I feel bad that we had no cash to tip. I will find you, good sir, and come back with extra cash because you made us happy. This is also one of the cleanest and well stocked Paciugo I have ever visited — trust me, I have been to a lot. #FatGirlStatus In conclusion — GO, ENJOY, ANDBEHAPPY.

Pacuigo never disappoints. Excellent gelato and I love that they have new flavors every time I come in. I always get the smallest size and it ends up being a lot because they are not stingy with portions! Sea salt caramel and some kind of sorbet are always my go-tos. Best thing about getting dessert here is that you don’t feel heavy and gross afterwards. Really wish this Pacuigo could take the place of the Coldstone creamery that’s on the other side of shops at legacy next to the pond– it would explode! Keep it up guys!

Oh Paciugo, Paciugo, where are though Paciugo! This place is delicious and the service is consistently good across locations(I didn’t know this was a chain until a few weeks ago). They let you try ALL the flavors and adults are«eligible» for a kids-cup, two flavors, as well. This time I had the salted caramel and the vanilla. soo yummy and hard to narrow to two. Note: Bring your patience. their service is soo good and you can try every flavor, that it may take a few minutes before they get to you, but it’ll be worth it once you have it. Go and don’t look back. Gelato means you can eat more, yes, no, maybe?

This place is AWESOME! I’d give 10 stars if I could. The staff was friendly & offered samples of as many flavors as you choose. They have a wide variety of flavors. I had Sea Salt Mediterranean Carmel, Toasted Coconut, & Cinnamon Dulce de Leche… all three were fantastic! I’m definitely going back(maybe tomorrow… LOL). If you’re in the Plano area near Shops at Legacy you should consider stopping here for some yummy gelato(don’t waste, money, but more importantly your health going to Coldstone). Go shopping, have dinner, & eat gelato while listening to some live music.

GETINMABELLY. That’s pretty much all you need to know. The space could be a little bigger, but with the pretty streets around, just walk around, like an Italian person would, and start talking with bigger hand gestures.

Pretty, pretty good! Best thing about this place is that you can sample multiple flavors before you buy. Next best thing is that you can choose up to 3 different flavors — even if you only get a small! There are LOTS of flavors to choose from. I mixed crème brûlée, pistachio, and salted caramel… all very delicious, but after a while it started to taste extremely sweet… probably the fault of the crème brûlée. Salted caramel really does have a strong salty flavor, so if you’re not prepared for that you might want to skip it. Hubs loves the strawberry balsamic. I refused to touch it, but he orders it every time. I believe the person who served us was either a manager or the owner. He was quite friendly, and admirably patient with the little girl in front of us in line who had to sample what felt like 10 different flavors. Be prepared for a bit of a wait if there’s a party in front of you and only one person working.
