Absolutely loved this place. Sorry to see that it closed. Service was hit and miss at times but it wasn’t for lack of trying. All you can eat wings and bike night will be missed.

When you put a sign out in front of your restaurant that states your wings are the best, you are setting yourself up to be tested much harder than maybe you should be. I had just finished some tennis and was looking for a place to eat when I passed this place. When I saw that sign«best wings’ I had to give it a try. Everybody was very friendly at the restaurant, so as soon as I walked in I was feeling pretty good about this place. It is simply decorated in a motif fitting of its name. I was seated promptly and it was ok so far. My server, Joshua greeting pretty quickly and asked me if I wanted something to drink. Joshua was a good guy as he had me at ease right off and was really helpful. Ask for him should you go here. Having never been here, I kept it simple with a single order of wings and a side of their cole slaw to go with the Sam Adams. I was not in the mood today for any real heat, so I ordered a more modest sauce. The place was kept nicely clean, even the bathroom. The noise level was at a quite enjoyable level. The kitchen was a little slow but not aggravatingly so. The single order of 10 wings and legs which along with the cole slaw was perfect for me. The slaw side dish was a good size, not at all skimpy but not an overdone amount either. Now here is the rub… When those wings came, I started eating with that sign in front of the restaurant heavy on my mind. As I bit into, chewed and swallowed that first wing, I literally asked myself if these were the«best wings». They are not. They are pretty good and I would not hesitate to come back again, but they are not, now way, no how the best. Cost — one star. The slaw was really pretty good also. So overall, it was a good meal. I enjoyed the wings, slaw, beer and Joshua. Would I drive there specifically for a meal, don’t really think so, but if I am in the area again and need a bite, I would definitely consider it. I would definitely ask for Joshua again.

First off, I have been going to QS&L since I was 15(in Erie, PA and Ohio) and I have never been disappointed. I really wish one would open closer to Ft. Worth! The flavors never vary from location to location and they seem to add new flavors every few years. The drinks are always good and never on the light side. As for this location I don’t have one bad thing to say about it(other than its 50 miles away). The Louisiana Licker flavor is my all time favorite and you must have the fried pickles. Great place for groups, families, or just a couple. Plenty of BIG televisions to watch games on too! I always intentionally get way more than I could eat in one sitting just so I can have them again for lunch, thats how good the wings are.

Food was good. The burgers were good, not great. Service was friendly, but slow. Atmosphere is really good. Daughter said her burger was amazing! Cooked well and good quality. Wife said it was a regular burger. We would return here for sure.

I had a great meal… Ice cold beer, hot appetizer, Juicy sandwich. Oh yeah, the TVs and trivia entertainment were cool too. The wings were as good as I have ever had. The Cheesesteak steak was better than Pats(or Genos) for that matter. Did I mention COLDBEER? The service was fine… I’d definitely come back.

Well, responded to an email I got from Quaker Steak about a buffet with BBQ ribs, hamburgers, chicken wings, and hotdogs on Fathers Day for $ 11.99, only to find out that the corporate headquarters sent it out in error. I got there at the time specified only to find out it wasn’t going to happen. It’s things like this that tell me why the Quaker Steak didn’t do alot of business and closed down in Carrollton. They even suggested other items off the menu at regular price. Well, Happy Fathers Day, I guess. I will not be going back.

This place is awesome!!! Great food. Good staff. Very attentive. Kids love the food. Chicken wings are fantastic. Wife and I loved the fish tacos. Very nice covered outside area. TV’s all over the place. Has a cool nascar, Harley Davidson vibe going. Clean bathrooms!!! Easy access to location. Right on 121 access road. So far the best chicken wings I have had in the area.

I tried the atomic boneless wings and they were pretty good. I love spicy food but not sure how many of the triple atomic if Any I could eat also tried the superchargd. Not near as spicy but had a better flavor. As a spice fanatic, I think I have met my match. Service was pretty good and didn’t take long for food at all.

Don’t go to this place for lunch. It might work if you are hanging at the bar with your friends and watching sports. But a 30 minute wait for 1 order of wings and fries at lunch is ridiculous. The place is maybe half full. I haven’t even gotten my food and have decided to never come back.

I only put 5 stars on this review because I’m hoping people, especially quaker mgmt will read it since it’s the opposite of everyone else There is no negative star category! This place is like pursuing a supermodel. You can get only so close to the perfection but can’t quite ever get there! How can a restaurant make the absolute best wings… But only when there is a full moon, the international space station is overhead, it’s an election year, and between Valentine’s Day and ground hog day??? Wtf? Quaker management can you read a review and fix this broken restaurant? You wonder why the Lewisville store closed? I’m hello… The service sucks 90% of the time, only a few servers are worth a crap and how hard is it to take an order and make it right? I could call my congressman and get my water glass refilled quicker. I love this place, been to the original in Sharon PA as I grew up in Cleveland, but this place is a horror show and I can’t keep holding on to the faith mgmt will get this place right someday. I’m begging you quaker corporate, please please fix this place so we have a great wings place around or I’m afraid those 2 stars will drop and so will the customer base

Oh where do I begin? There was a lot of excitement about this place opening up. The hubby & I just recently ate there for the first time and unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. After seeing the reviews here on Unilocal,I’m kicking myself. Oh well, learned my lesson: always check Unilocal! First, whoever in the company decided to put carpet in a restaurant needs to stop being able to make decisions. There is a reason you don’t do this! It gives the impression of a highly used, run down place because of all the high traffic coming from a lot of patrons. Also, it almost feels like it «traps» the grease from the cooking. So, upon immediately walking in I was put almost into a regretful state of mind before eating — Warning #1. We sit down and our waiter comes over who is REALLY nice. He explains that there are over 122 options on the menu, so if we’re having a hard time choosing he can recommend some of his favorites. Warning #2: if a place has THAT many choices, their focus is split — they won’t do anything superior when it comes to their food. I was REALLY craving boneless wings this night. I ask him about the wings and saw that they had Mac & Cheese on the menu. Waiter said their mac was AWESOME and that I should try it. The hubby got fish & chips after he was reassured they had everything from tartar sauce to malt vinegar for this meal. The food came out and we were SODISAPPOINTED. The food runner didn’t bring my husband’s malt vinegar(he HAS to have this condiment for fish & chips apparently) with his meal so they went searching. Turns out, they had only 1 bottle of malt vinegar in the whole place and no one knew where it was. This isn’t really a big deal other than the fact I expect a business to have what they need for customers readily available. We waited 10 mins for this(It should be noted halfway into our meal a waiter came up and asked if he could have it for his other table who needed it-really? I found it borderline rude). The fish was really good as was the coleslaw. It just could have been more organized. Now my food — the wings that they’re supposedly known for. They were awful. They came out luke-warm and way too battered. There was something off about them. Really hard to explain. Additionally, their ranch & blue cheese came out in prepackaged form — Warning #3. This is what really gets me. Any self-respecting wing place makes these in-house, daily. Blue cheese was gross and actually an off-white color. I didn’t touch it. Ranch was gross. I had 2 wings and couldn’t stomach anymore. The«awesome» mac & cheese was microwaved. It has no sauce and tastes terrible. Clearly not made in-house, or if it was had been sitting under a heat lamp. In fact, that’s how my food tasted. Like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. We didn’t complain. We ate our food and paid. I think our waiter could sense we weren’t lovin’ the food. He gave us this cookie sundae-thing that really was amazing. He gets an A for effort. Quaker Lube gets a D. I most likely will not be back. If I want reheated food I don’t have to spend $ 30-$ 40 for two people to eat — I can eat leftovers at home.

I’ve been here around 5 or 6 times and the wait usually isn’t too bad. The«tai or cracker» wings are BYFAR the best wings I’ve had. Fried pickles are ok they’re the spears instead of chips and the fried tends to fall off but they have good flavor. If you go before 5 there’s usually no wait and you’ll get friendly service. Only downfall is you cannot turn your head without seeing a TV screen which can be distracting. Overall a great place.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. We sat at our table for one full hour with no food. When we escalated to a manager, they failed to see why we were upset. This place is notorious for shitty long waits. Avoid going here.

My son and I visited this establishment last night to watch the Kentucky game! Yes we bleed blue, shout out to all my Big Blue fans! If your a Cats hater, it’s because you aren’t us! My son absolutely love this place due to their boneless wings and I have to say they are pretty darn good! We also got their cheese fries and they were pretty good as well but nothing can EVER compare to Outback cheesy fries sorry Lube! I got a bacon cheeseburger and it was a burger, nothing to rave about. Our waitress was very attentive and took really good care of us, sorry can’t remember her name. The manager came to our table a couple of times to check in on us which I thought was pretty cool, of course, can’t remember her name either… sorry! The restaurant is an excellent place to watch any sporting event, a television at every viewing angle! I give it a 4 because my son loves it but I love my tv at home! I hope this review helps! And I will do better with remembering names!

Food was just okay. I has the BBQ beef with onion rings sandwich since it had a trophy by it, but I think the trophy gave me high expectations. It was mostly the the sauce I didn’t care for. It was impossible to pick up the sandwich with the bread they had. My buddies tried the triple atomic wing contest and completed it no problem. I looked on the wall of flame and there are way too many people on it. They should make it harder. The nacho appetizer was not good at all. The queso was too sweet. My boss tried the contest in Waco a year ago and they can out of shirts and was going to mail him one, but lied. When they completed, the manager informed them that they were out and said she would mail them. I think they lie about running out of shirts to save money.

Decided to give this place a second chance and it was more than worth it! It felt like it was a whole new restaurant — the wait staff was friendly, the menu had a lot more fresh options, and the management came by to make sure we were doing well. We ordered wings with french fries and the o ring bbq cheesesteak sandwich with broccoli. The wings were tender and moist and consistently flavored. The sandwich was tasty as well and very filling(definitely worth the 10 dollars). We told our waiter that we really enjoy spicy foods so he came out with three extra dipping sauces just for us to try out. It was a great gesture and little things such as that really retain your customers. We’ll be back for sure. The experience was a complete 180 from a few months ago, and I have no problem recommending this location to others. Great job! Tip: there are a bunch of TVs inside for you to watch, but they also have a great patio outside that just plays great music

We placed a to-go order at the bar and waited for our to-go order for about 27 minutes. We saw people who came in after us, place an order and eat their wings before we got our to-go order. The waitress never even offered us anything to drink or an apology on the wait. By the time we got our food and got home, our wings were super cold. This review is solely on the to-go service at the bar. I think the wings would’ve been good but it’s not fair for me to judge the food because of the crappy service.

Cooked the wings special for me. Others had the 3rd hottest sauce and wished they would have ordered the hottest one. The sauces seem to be hotter in the northern franchises. Waiter was good and the food good. Just a good restaurant for a family dinner.

I liked this place but it’s very green. It’s not a place I want to take my girls for a night out for drinks, though the prices on Wednesday night would be great for that. It’s just more of a guy place to me and I can see spending NFL season here on Sunday’s since they offer a brunch buffet with WINGS! I was so excited about that. I loved the Bloody Mary, bartender was extremely helpful and nice. The wings were awesome and I had the cheese fries, Awesome. Prices are great. I really liked the place except for the décor. Just very casual to me and I don’t see myself hanging out here with friends for a Friday night of drinks. But I can see watching sports here. I felt over dressed in my jeans with my heels AND I had a baseball cap on. So if that doesn’t say enough about the ambiance, I don’t know what does. Maybe it’s because I am not into race cars and this is where all the race cars fans go to hang out, they have a home. :)
