The stuffed fish is amazing !!! From the service, to the drinks, and the food I rate this place 5 stars!

So let me start by saying my wife and I love razoos. Love em. But at this particular location today I found a hair in my food as was eating their jambalaya pasta. The worst part is that it looked an awful lot like a short and curly as opposed to a normal hair, though I choose not to assume one way or the other cuz who knows what a hair would look like after being cooked in pasta. Secondly, because of my love for razoos I was somewhat inclined to just let it go as an isolated incident, however disgusting it may be. But the managers reaction was really disappointing. He took the meal off the ticket and offered us a free desert, which is nice and all, but at the end as he was apologizing he also said something like«I’m sorry about that, but it does happen from time to time, so you can’t hold against the cook.» Um, no. It is completely unacceptable for a body hair to ever find its way into your food. It is never okay. Washing hands, hair nets, gloves, etc. there are a million ways to make sure it never happens. It is, in my mind, justifiable to fire the cook on the spot that prepared it, though I would personally lean more towards a write up. And quite frankly, the entire ticket should have been comped, not just the meal with the hair in it. At least that’s what I would have done were I the manager. So I am sorry to say that though I have been coming to this location for over 5 years, it will be a long time before I can convince myself to go back. I wish I had thought to take a picture of it for proof, but all I could think of at the time was removing myself from an uncomfortable situation.

There are only a few Razzos around the area, and so my friend(who loves this place) wanted to stop by and so I agreed. Although I know it is a chain restaurant, they’ve got some pretty good Cajun food in here. I had the chicken and shrimp étouffée(right side, middle of the crazy menu) and I’ve got to say… It was delicious and brought me back to the days I was in Louisiana. Now I had a professor that talked about Razzoos every single class(he was Ron Jackson of Fox 4 News) and boy was he right about the food. The staff was very helpful and made sure our drinks were never empty. I will be coming to get my Cajun fix soon! Plus… It is right next to the movie theater, so I can catch a flick right after!

Had a great visit at this location. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Razzoo’s but we were greeted with friendly smiles and our waiter, I think his name was Josh, was great. We also were just in time to sample the bread pudding and the turkey! I ordered the Andouille platter(not for certain of the exact name) but it was great! I would have preferred more seasoning but other than that… Ordered the Gator Punch for 2(I usually get the hard core drink in the styrofoam cup with the gummy worms). That Gator Punch was straight juice & if you ask me, a waste of money. I didn’t even have a slight buzz, almost like I was drinking fruit punch. To be said that there was 151 in it — I definitely didn’t taste it. Other than the sorry excuse for an alcoholic beverage & those horrible fried pickles, I enjoyed my visit.

First visit ever to Razzoo’s. Everything was wonderful. We were a large group, but our server Triston did an excellent job! He even let us know that Happy Hour would be ending soon, and got several appetizer orders. We ordered the fried pickles and fried green beans to share. They were great, even without the special sauce. Nicely flavored, hot and crisp. I had the stuffed shrimp. So delicious. We were already talking about a return visit, maybe during Crawfish season!

I only come here for happy hour ! We ordered a Corona-rita with salt and a Hurricane. They were both just ok for me. However, my partner was in love with the Hurricane. She wanted to order another but she stood up and slowly sat back down haha ! I also had a buzz so I’ll definitely be back for another. Service was fast, people were pleasant, and it wasn’t as noisy as expected. Great Happy Hour deals on food and drinks between 4 and 7 ! The food is mehhh, far from home, LA, but very cool atmosphere … Enjoy :)

Razzoos used to be my go to place for some Cajun. My last few trips to multiple locations, it’s just not the same. The food is still good, but it just doesn’t wow me anymore. I had the stuffed fish, which filled me up, but was just ok. Who knows, maybe it’s me! Don’t know if we will be back because there are so many other options.

I honestly love this place, but give two stars because of the service. My sister and I walked into this place with three workers standing around the front. One gentleman was on his phone and looked at us, then went back to his phone. Another had his back turned folding paper. We weren’t greeted and stood there for a while. After we were seated, no one came to greet us nor to get our drinks. I see a girl staring at our table from across the room. Soon, after a while, our server came over and got our drinks and appetizers. It’s been around 15mins now as we are sitting here and she hasn’t returned to check if we are ready to order(which we are). The menu is still here on the table and she is no where to be seen. Overall, the food is great. I love the oysters and the fire mouth wings like no other.(However, there were two times where there was hair in our oysters… Ew).

Not bad at all for a chain. Drinks are plenty and food is flavorful. Always in my list whenever I have Cajun/creole craving. It could be busy at times especial during crawfish season but that doesn’t shy me always from coming back.

We decided to stop by after a show. There food are decent or maybe we were that hungry. I do know that the appetizer that we got were amazing! It was the crawfish fondue. It was so creamy and cheesy. The garlic bread went well with the dip. Our entrée portion was big.

I enjoy coming here during happy since it’s half off appetizers. I usually order their fondue dip with garlic bread and crawfish dipping, fried green beans, crawfish tails, gator meat, and the gator punch which consist of 6 various liquors. Drink taste good at first but it will get you later. I do not suggest getting their wings even though it may sound good at the moment. A bit bland to my tastebud. During crawfish season, they have a reasonable deal that’s less than $ 9 a pound but the crawfish is actually flavorful. I actually like it better than most places. It comes with corn and potatoes. Must get you some! Service is always great here for the many times I’ve been back.

Wow! The Fried Gator Platter was DELICIOUS! The Gator Punch, which includes six liquors and no chaser, was only $ 7.50. The restaurant is decorated as though you’re visiting an overly exaggerated, cartoon reality of New Orleans. Simply put: this is a fun place to eat. The prices are actually quite reasonable, also. So GO!

Gah… it’s a Razzoo’s. Just like how On The Border tries to serve up Mexican food, Razzoo’s attempts to bag up the best of Cajun eats into a run-of-the-mill«special eating out» restaurant for suburban families. Anything fried here is coated in hard cornmeal. Specialty drinks like the Peach Mambo are overly sweet and tastes like cavity inflicting juice. I wasn’t expecting fresh peaches, but I nearly snorted my drink out of laughter from looking at the canned peaches inside of my mason jar. Classy. The crawfish étouffée was what I expect from a jar of étouffée sauce. Yeah, it’s all edible like any dish meant for the middle-class, but I would not choose to go here myself unless it would wipe Justin Bieber from the face of this earth. Despite the three star average food, the service probably backs up four stars. Razzoo’s doesn’t take reservations, but they were able to accommodate a party of 22 on a Saturday night in under practically 10 minutes. One waitress basically took care of the entire group and she did a great job taking orders and filling up drinks. Not that I recommend hosting an engagement party at this fine establishment, but if you find yourself looking for a dinner spot for a large group, slide this place at the bottom of your list.

The fish bowl and the fondue! That’s all you need! The fondue is amazing! Always get it crawfish! To order the fish bowl, make sure you bring 3 other people with you! They won’t let you order without 4 people! I m not a fan of the poboys here… its bland … somethings missing in it.

We decided to try this restaurant before a movie at the theater next door. I ordered blackened tilapia with meuniere sauce on the side(good thing I did, because I didn’t like it). The fish was decent, dirty rice was blah and seemed old, fried okra was mediocre. The best part of my meal was the buttered Frenchy bread, sadly. Husband liked his fishah yee. Service was not good. I never received, nor was I offered a refill on my soda. Husband finished his beer and was offered another once we were done eating. After our food arrived, our server was gone about 20 minutes before checking back. The décor, outside and inside, is loud, but I’m okay with that. I don’t ever have to eat here again, checked it off the list.

We were headed to a different restaurant but changed our mind when we saw this place next door. Everybody agreed that Cajun sounded really great. Talk about service — they even opened the front door for us. All of the help was super friendly, and went out of their way to make us welcome. Somebody in the group(me) wanted blackened redfish, but it wasn’t on the menu. The waitress went back to the chef and asked if he would make it. Surprisingly, he said he would be happy to make it. We ordered the fried pickles to get us started. This item is what kept this from being a 5 star rating. They had a bitter taste. All the rest of the meal was outstanding. Food in our group ranged from shrimp to stuffed fish to blackened red fish. Every person in the group thought their food was great. Would I return? Most definitely. I wish we had one in San Antonio.

Friends brought me here to try the Cajun food which they enjoyed a lot since they moved here. I was happy to go with the flow. It was a very nicely themed place. We were able to sit at a huge booth which turned out to be the best seats when the kids were sleepy. They had a fancy menu with lots of dishes having very interesting names. Rat toes or Cat something. I was immediately distracted by the sigh of «Live Crawfish». Our nice waitress confirmed it was the«Crawfish season». Crawfish it was! Unilocalers recommended the Peach mambo which was excellent. Right amount of sweetness with nice Peach flavor. An excellent company for my extra spicy canjun style Crawfish. The craw fish was the best I have tried in States: fresh and meaty; the dry burning spicy and just right amount of salt(have to complain that Papadeux puts too much salt). I even liked with corn with it. I was kind of regretting that I didn’t order more of those. Absolutely addictive! Our server was excellent. Explained everything with a smile. Should have listened to her on ordering 2lbs of crawfish. I will definitely try this again if I’m back to town. Thinking of ordering online for the live crawfish when get back to home.
