Dated January 82016 at 4 pm. Bought a bucket of chicken. When I got home, found out that some of the chicken legs have been bitten. AS in, some meat in the legs were gone. Please Ca inspection agency should look into this.

Somehow we managed to get in at the right time and everything was spot on from the quality of the service to the quality of the food. Look, this is KFC, not gourmet fare. Fast food is supposed to be quick, inexpensive and reasonably palatable. Yes, it can be full of negatives such as sugar, sodium, fat, etc., but you know that walking in the door. We walked in around 5pm on a Saturday night. There were four crew members working that we saw. The young man who took our order acknowledged us right away and then gave us time to decide when we weren’t ready. We ended up ordering the $ 20 Family Meal Special which was 8 pieces of chicken, 6 biscuits, 2 large mashed potatoes and 2 medium gravy, 1 large cole slaw plus 2 chicken pot pies. Total was just over $ 31 including tax. Having been a fast food manager many, many years ago, I thought that order taker did a great job. Smile, eye contact, personable, AND suggested selling. His team mates also spoke to us as if they were happy to be at work and all worked together to get our order out. The food was hot and filling. Surprisingly, the Original Recipe chicken wing that I ate was not greasy nor dry unlike so many other wings I’ve had over the years. My wife ate a back and said that hers was also moist and flavorful. On the rare occasion that we’re in the area and craving KFC, we’d visit this location again.

Bad service. We went on the drive through, and the guy sounded so bored that it felt like he just wanted us to leave. When we got our order, there was not a single napkin, no spoon and forks and no straws! Unbelievable. I’m giving the stars for the chicken, it was actually good and still hot when we ate it! The location was just really convenient because we were next door at Safeway and got hungry after shopping. Won’t be coming back though!

This isn’t going to be an über long review, just a synopsis of sorts. So here we go, no fancy introductions or anything. This KFC/A&W location is located at a very great spot, It’s in the middle of everything thats is happening along the long Contra Costa Blvd. This location is also right by the Sunvalley Mall, Safeway, and Highway 680 to name more… notable landmarks. So it makes this place a nice place to pick up a lunch or quick snack if you’re on the go or looking for a late-night family dinner. They participate in the Monday — Wednesday 3.99 specials which are as follows… Monday — 2 piece Leg and thigh with a biscuit and side.(Kfc) Tuesday — Papa Burger Single combo.(a&w) Wednesday — Chicken Pot Pie.(Kfc) I like the specials because I happen to like each thing they have to offer. Perfect like I said for a quick meal. Here the service has always been pretty good in the few times I’ve came here. But in cleanliness, this location has to get it together. For that reason I’ve never dined in here. Im all about ambiance and eating at a clean establishment, here they always have messy tables and overflowing trash bins. If the restaurant matched the service then this place can go up in stars. In closing, great location, friendly service and decent food. Be it the KFC or A&W portion. You be your own judge and Unilocal your experience!

Sometimes they allow two orders on the drive through and sometimes they don’t. It’s really annoying when they don’t. Them telling me they can’t do two orders but letting me do it the last time is incredibly scummy. Who ever works at the drive through part should get fired real quick

Tables arent wiped down. The cashier looked and acted nervous and intimidated. Quick and cheap.

Visited this location after about 15 years of not going to a KFC. Trash in parking lot, lights at front door broken, floor inside dirty. My order was to go. Got to hotel and no utensils or napkins. Are all KFCs like this?

I haven’t had KFC since I was a kid in the 70’s. On a whim I stopped in and bought a 16 piece original recipe bucket. Luckily it hasn’t changed, it was just as I remembered it. Great chicken and excellent biscuits. Another reviewer said the chicken pieces were small, but mine were normal size. The sides of mashed potatoes/gravy, mac n cheese and green beans tasted great and met my expectations. The service here was prompt and courteous, no complaints. Initially I was surprised at the price, my 16 piece bucket was $ 40 out the door. But in fairness it was a lot of food, and will easily feed 6 hungry adults. That’s about $ 6.50 per person, not bad for real food.

This place sucks. I went through the drive thru and the lady was so rude. I was asking her a question about one of the meals and all she said was yes. Then she ads it to my order. I didn’t even finish ordering and she cuts me off and said my total, next window. Didn’t get my order right, sat there for 30 mins and didn’t get my food. Worst place ever

I love kfc but what happened to the chicken? It’s like they shrunk, literally. The drumstick and thighs are so small now! KFC, you’re chicken is so good but you’re getting so cheap with your product! And this is the only location I’ve been going to, I’m not sure if it’s like this everywhere else.

The only thing I can say about this KFC is WoW. Worst customer service ever. I buy KFC a lot and the last 2 times there was not the best experience ever. I think the Manager should revamp there customer service. Customer is always right.

I come here frequently for lunch and always have a consistent experience. The food is great and my order is always right. I wish they had two cash registers, at lunch they can get a little backed up. The only gripe is the 50s music they play, wish it was just top 40 radio.

Its everything you should expect from a KFC and more since it is also an A&W, the bad reviews on this joint are hilarious, those people must have thought they were dining at RUTHSCHRIS. Fact is though I work in the area and eat here fairly often and have never had an issue, I think it must be taken into account that when you buy fast food and its what you expect you dont write a review, having said that there are alot of whiney babies out there who get bent out of shape over tiny things like the resturaunt running out of an ingredient.

It is actually impressive how bad the employees are here. I have been here several times and not once has the order been correct. None of the orders are complicated, just a meal or a couple of side items, yet no one there can seem to handle it. I would think that once they would accidentally get the order right, but no. So just be warned, make sure to check everything.

So… this is my first KFC Famous Bowl and I was excited to try one. However, I placed my order which, by the way, was very difficult. The person taking my order just isn’t very good at doing this. Anyhow, I roll up to the 2nd window, pay, collect the beverages, collecting my bag of food and then AFTER all of that the cashier tells me that they’re out of corn. WTF aren’t you supposed to tell customers before all of this!!! My arm was dangling out the window pulling my food bag into my car when she said this. I was already at the point of no return at this point. I told her she should’ve told me that a littler earlier in the ordering process because I would’ve gotten something else and her response«I could give you a corn on the cob instead». My initial response was to ask why they couldn’t have just shaved the corn off while preparing the bowl then, we could’ve saved this whole interaction. I didn’t take the corn, I was already annoyed at this point. My first KFC Famous Bowl sans corn :/

This KFC is also a A&W restaurant. The place looked very clean when I went, bonus is free refills on drinks including A&W Rootbeer. Service was fast and efficient.

Once you get past the traffic to get into the parking lot(since there is construction and the freeway entrance backs everything up), everything is uphill from there. Ordered the $ 5 box lunch meal, the chicken tenders were warm, crispy, and juicy. The potatoes lived up to the standards. Biscuit and the cookie also was delicious. The employee working the drive-threw window was polite, and had a friendly smile! Great experience all around.

After standing in line for 10 minutes… behind 1 person without acknowledgement… they have no chicken breast. Really? You’re a chicken place. «Sorry bout that.» Doesn’t really cut it. It’s 12:27 pm. Lunch time.

A & W root beer combined with KFC! These are letters I need to win my Words with Friends game on my iPhone! A1 combo(papa burger) $ 7.46. Actually, did you know that A&W stands for Allen and Wright, and this pop stand started in Lodi in the early 1900’s? Who knew? Lodi? Really?
