Great service and good drinks! I asked for a suggestion and I ended up not liking the drink, so they let me change it! Very friendly and a decent place to study, though the tables are kind of small. They have wifi and some outlets.

Nice, air conditioned, CLEAN, friendly spot to have a tasty, refreshing, beverage. Even though it’s a fairly small shop, they welcome kids. They have the little high chair if you bring an extra small hatchling with you. They have a few board/card games on hand, and they’ll even put on the TV if you’d like. My kids enjoy the Italian soda, and I like the black milk tea(very little ice, 50%sweet, and extra boba). Sometimes we grab a muffin or cookie, we hope that they expand the food choices at some point. A few more bagels, maybe a sandwich, fresh fruit, etc. We were quite happy to discover this shop, because it’s a very nice addition to this shopping center. The owner and employees are simply delightful. They have a punch card which is always an extra incentive to support a small business. Stop by after music class, while running errands, or when you’re having a little«me time» :)

Not many choices to choose from so i decided to try their thai iced tea. While they were making my drink i asked them what their popular drinks were. They said taro tea, thai tea, and mango tea. Idk but my thai iced tea tasted watered down… Sad face :(but friendly staff! :)

Stopped in to get a Thai Iced Tea with boba. This is some of the best boba I have ever had! Not too chewy. Yum!

Been to this place many times for the boba. It’s not the best boba I’ve ever had but it’s pretty good for what you can find in the Pleasanton/Dublin area. There’s a lot of variety in the flavors that you can select for the drinks, which is nice. The customer service here is also excellent, especially from Doris. This is a great small business to support in the area.

The staff is pretty clueless. I had to ask for my change and she didn’t even take one of our orders even though he was standing in line. They don’t fill the cups up all the way. They got two stars because I liked the taste of the milkshake I got but their milk tea isn’t very good. They don’t even have snacks =(no I don’t want your frequent buyer card cause I won’t be back.

Binky and I decided to pass up our usual T4 and try something a little closer to home. The decorations, are, as others have stated, very cute and festive(although not really decorated to my taste — I tend to prefer locations with less decorations — reminds me a lot of elementary school decorations). I was very nervous to try this location given the very *few* reviews — I can be rather picky about my boba(but hand to God, it’s USUALLY very unusual for me to be extremely picky about food). I ordered a rose green tea with boba and Binky ordered the regular milk tea with boba. Binky’s drink was alright — the milk tea tasted like basic black tea(not especially high quality tea) and the milk/sugar was mixed in adequate proportions. My tea, however, was very syrup-y tasting(I wrongly assumed the rose tea was actually rose tea — rather, it tasted more like rose-flavored syrup mixed in green tea???). The boba was a little too soft for my liking(even though the cashier told me they make it fresh a few times a day). Moreover, the tea shop closes very early(T4 stays open until 10PM) so Binky and I weren’t even able to finish our drinks. It seems silly for a boba shop to close so early considering that most of the Asians I know typically go for boba AFTER a meal(usually AFTER dinner…). I was so looking forward to having a LOCAL boba shop so close to home, however, I’m not yet persuaded to choose Bubble Tree over T4.

We came in on a Tuesday night after work and ordered a large milk tea with boba; it came out to be ~$ 3.50 with tax. We both agreed it tasted like Quickly’s, but seems reasonably in line with the price. The tapioca balls were a bit too soft for my taste, but who even makes good balls anymore? The smoothies seem expensive, but we might be willing to come back and give it a try.

Cute local drink place! They had decorations up for the holiday season when I stopped by. My taro milk tea was pretty good. Boba was good quality, not watered down like you find at some places, soft, falling apart a little bit and not super chewy. I really liked the flavor of the taro milk tea. I found it to be a little less artificial than other places. So I’d rate it higher than Quickly, but maybe lower than T4. There was no «tea» flavor, just taro and milk, and the drink wasn’t overly sweet either. I’m not sure if you can specify sweetness level here. It’s a very homegrown boba shop. I would be interested in trying their other items like smoothies. They only had one pastry when I stopped by on Saturday afternoon, so didn’t go for one of those. I’ll stop by again when I’m in the area!

Love this shop! Great friendly service. Tried the lychee flavored black tea with boba. Also the Thai tea with boba. Will stop by more often.

This hidden gem has such a homey and comfortable atmosphere with delicious drinks. I usually order a Rose Green Milk Tea or a Super Greens smoothie on days I want to pretend I’m healthy. Their milk tea isn’t spectacular compared to well-known chains, but it’s still good and has nice and soft boba. Their staff are very friendly. I wouldn’t choose this place as a study café because Cupcake Wars is constantly blaring on the TV, but as a cooking channel fanatic, I quite enjoy it. Definitely would recommend this place for a quick boba fix or place to chill :)

The girl working on Sunday afternoon is super sweet and the Thai Tea was pretty good. The menu is quite small, but the service was exceptional.

I’ve been looking for a café that serves affogato. All this time when I crave this«dessert», I have to drive all the way to Castro Valley or if one is really desperate venture into San Francisco. So you can imagine my surprise(and gratification) that this hidden treasure is nestled right in the middle of Walmart grocery store, next to Togo’s on Santa Rita rd. And they did not disappoint ! Place is cute, the owners are very welcoming — — you’ll feel right at home.

Filipino owned café right in the Walmart Grocery Store strip mall off Santa Rita Road. A complete hidden gem. This breath of cuteness has been opened since March of this year and I’m a little surprised it’s only got 12 reviews to date. It’s a very cutesy, clean, and refreshing establishment that I think just needs a little bit of advertising to kick the place off. This café has a little bit of everything but what my mom got me sold on is their affogato. This isn’t a gelato shop so don’t think you’re going to have dozens of flavors to choose from. It’s a 2 scoop vanilla ice cream with a shot of espresso to top it off and it’s pretty solid to close out my Saturday afternoon. They’ve also got some smoothies, bagels in the morning, pastries, espresso machine, boba, and not sure what else they’ve got hidden back there. And I’m not usually a person to like a place that serves a variety of different things. I’m more of a person that sticks to, do one thing,(maybe a few), and do that one(few) things well. But since this place pretty much pulls all things pretty well, WHYTHE F NOT right? You go Bubble Tree Café! Welcome to Pleasanton!

Cute little place, a perfect stop for a snack after a music lesson. Love their taro milk tea and honeydew tea. Free WiFi and friendly staff too. The kiddos love it(they were showing ‘Lilo and Stitch’ at our last visit) so we will be back for sure.

Super small and homey feel to this place. The service here is great as the ladies behind the counter are as nice and friendly as you can get. They even recognize regulars. This place has 8 reviews, but they’re pretty solid. The milk tea here tastes very similar to the milk tea in SoCal. It actually has tea you can taste. They have milkshakes and four barrel coffee as well. I highly recommend the taro milkshake and black milk tea(you can go half sweet on each). I should also note that they’ve got cronuts(about $ 2.50 each) and vegan donuts($ 1.10). If it’s 4pm, pastries are 20% off because it’s pastry happy hour. What a brilliant concept! Really small on the interior, but even their few tables have succulents on them. Fun times.

Perfect spot to have a milk tea and a pastry. Free wifi and nice place to relax. Servers are nice and kind. May have had the best donut ever called a chocolate cronut. Croissant donut filled with a cream that was buttery and moist, really decadent! Loved my taro black milk tea with rainbow jellies.

Small place, love it’s convenient location for me and such a nice owner! Boba is a bit on the firm side so that’s just up to the individual taste. Had a large mango milk tea with boba for $ 4 which is a very good price for around here. Menu is a bit limited, but definitely want to come back and try other things!(Milk shakes and smoothies). Not many food options aside from a few bagels and the sort, but that didn’t come as a surprise.

Bubble Tree Café is an indy, not chain affiliated, family operated. menu: blue bottle coffee, numi tea, smoothies, bubble tea. pastries, bagels… drink: green tea(L.2) no ice, no sugar, 20% off(from 2.5) –semi strong, natural green tea flavor –flavors(+.50). toppings(+.50) drips: –flatscreen in corner, 6ish tables, free wi-fi. –flavors(in plastic bottles) look like syrups –would order only coffee, teas here, avoid bubble tea. milk tea. –pricing on laminated sheet, not on wall menu prices temporary? 3.5 teas for current pricing, tea, coffee only.

Small menu. Small sitting area. I was hoping to find another boba place to go but it doesn’t do anything for me. Ordered rose milk tea and mango smoothie. It took about a good 10 mins wait and we were the only one in there when we ordered. Rose milk tea –was hoping they use real rose tea but when it came out a pink milk tea I know it was trouble. They use rose syrup and somehow the milk was separating from. It looked pretty gross. You can see the picture that i took. Boba is extra .50 cents but they give so little and it didn’t taste good. Mango smoothie –they used mango syrup. With their regular price I would get a real smoothie from Jamba juice instead. people are friendly but the drinks for sure need to improve.
