Coldwater Creek

Coldwater Creek declared bankruptcy last week.
If you like their clothes they are having sales.
If you have one of their Groupons, they will not honor the coupon. Groupon will refund the purchase price.

Just went to the store and received some bad customer service. They have some sales going on and my mom wanted to buy a gift for her friend.
First, we were there for good 10 to 15 min without anyone greeting or offering to help.
When we finally asked someone about a shell that matched a cardigan we liked, the answer was «No we don’t have it anymore.»
When we got to the cash register, still no greeting and one of the two ladies there just grabbed the clothing and started to ring it up. Then the lady goes, «Do you want to grab another one since this one is buy one get one at 50%off?» I decided to look for another piece and found a matching shell for the cardigan. A little annoyed but not quite upset enough to write about it yet.
After the lady finished ringing us up, I remembered I needed a gift receipt. When I asked for it, instead of saying she can do it or not, she says, «it is ideal if you ask for it before.» I’m sure she knew she can do it without any problem. Yet, she has to hesitate and make it sound like she is doing me a favor by printing a lousy receipt. As I’m coming out, I didn’t even get a «thank you» from her or anyone else. It wasn’t even very busy there.
I see why people don’t like this place. The customer service is all training and obviously they do not train their people on service.
I will not be returning to this place.

I love to shop at Coldwater Creek. Sounds strange to hear a man say that he loves to shop at any store that isn’t hardware or tool related, but this is the most pleasant experience you can have buying something you know nothing about.
Here’s the scenario. If I want to buy something for my favorite lady, the Lady Susan, (She’s a dream come true, no kidding), and I decide on clothing, I head over to the experts at Coldwater Creek.
First the staff is exceptional. Generous with their time and understanding of my lack of knowledge when it comes to women’s attire. (Listen, if it wasn’t for my Valet, Mr Bates, I’d be walking around in sandals and tee shirts all day.)
The clothing is of the highest quality. Lasting years with good care. I know that Susan prefers the earth tones and tends to have a conservative eye for style. Both of these are in abundant supply at Coldwater Creek. I’ve tried other stores, but none compare to this one.
Lastly, the store has a nice casual feel to it. Not pretentious. Friendly. That comes from the top and I appreciate it greatly. Give this store a shot. Get something for your favorite lady and score major points. Out

I love Coldwater Creek clothes! Sure there are things that don’t appeal to me, but that’s always the case in any store.
The Stoneridge Mall store provides exceptional customer service. I have literally spent thousands of dollars on clothes from them and have had only one issue. One day I had a blouse that ripped near the seam on the sleeve earlier in the day. I stopped in to the store to ask if I could bring it back along with my receipt the next day for an exchange. The woman at the counter was horrified that the blouse had ripped, grabbed a new one off the shelf and sent me to the dressing room to change! That’s customer service!

Coldwater Creek continues to amaze me… really ugly clothes. «Many of their things are simply a crime against fashion. «
Yes, they carry «extended» sizes… but they sure don’t fit me!
I have long since given up on this as a spot to try when shopping in the mall.
