Eh, is all I can really say about this place. Really mediocre sushi. The service leaves a lot to be desired as well. Go somewhere else instead!

Been coming here off and on through the years and literally done with this place forever. Their food has never been great and after today’s service I’m throwing in the towel. I ordered the Emperors platter for $ 90 that feeds 8– 10. I took it to go and ask for 8 soy sauce and the lady responds back w no 5 is enough. Additionally I asked for chopsticks and she only gave me 3. What a joke and I was stupid enough to tip $ 10 for literally rude service. I tried calling the manager for some kind criticism but got a «no manager here» and they literally hung up. Wow what a strange experience. Life is too short find another place to eat.

2.5÷5 I never had to work so hard for a meal before, but $ 40 and 1.5 hours later I finally got my sushi. Came here after ordering off their website but forgot my wallet. I was hoping there was an online payment system since I ordered it online but there isn’t so I had to drive 30 mins home and back. The lady in the front wasn’t very nice the first time when I asked about an online payment but she was nicer when I returned. I was very happy that they did try to reheat my roll(luckily I got a roll with all cooked items so it didn’t overcook) and they did keep my chirashi in a cooler storage area. As for the food, it was alright. I got the Hopyard roll for $ 13. The roll is a bit small so I’m glad I got a second item. There isn’t a lot of fish/other fillings compared to the rice but for this roll I was ok with that since the sauce and cheese are pretty salty. It was an interesting roll. I wouldn’t get it to satisfy sushi cravings but it wasn’t bad. Not sure if the price you pay for it is worth it though.(2.5÷5) My second item was the chirashi which costs $ 17. Mine came with 4 slices of tuna, 4 slices of salmon, 2 slices of escolar, 4 slices of albacore, 1 piece of unagi, 2 pieces of tamago, 2 pieces of fake crab, and 1 piece of shrimp. Overall, it’s a fairly standard chirashi. I’m glad they added butterfish and unagi which are at least a bit different from most chirashis. The fish quality was meh/alright. They had some taste to them but nothing quite distinct either. The only item I didn’t like was the ebi which was the most overcooked piece of shrimp I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant and it was strangely sweet. The rice was flavored but a bit on the sweet side for me but it had decent texture.(3⁄5) Overall, not a bad place. From the looks of the menu it was a bit overpriced for some of the items I saw but the price of what I received is fairly average. Overall nothing superb but it’ll do.

You don’t come here for fresh sushi. You come here for passable sushi and cheap prices and huge portions. Came here because my mother liked it from a previous visit. I was hesitant given that my middle aged Chinese parents aren’t exactly sushi connoisseurs. Plus my mom expressed excitement over their poke salad and its«authentic Korean ownership». Of a Japanese restaurant. But I was pleased given my low expectations. Got their«spicy chirashi bop» aka the Korean dish hwe dup bop, which was surprisingly massive. Enough for 3 people to eat and be stuffed. We filled a to go box to the brim with what was left. It was filled with lots of veggies and fish, which mixed well together. The fish wasn’t particularly fresh, but it was passable once mixed in with the veggies and sauce. My mother got her favorite poke salad which I was surprised to find actually quite spicy. The fish again didn’t taste fresh and I personally didn’t enjoy it as much since there was nothing else to really mask the non freshness of the fish.

One of the most terrible sushi places we have ate at. They are rude, slow, and inconsiderate. Rolls are less than average, but the bay scallop is a joke; nothing like the picture at ALL. The bento boxes were the last to arrive when nearly everyone was about done with their rolls. And lastly, it took them 30 min to bring a round of waters to the table, and another 15 min to refill them. They are EXTREMELYSTINGY with their sriracha sauce which is odd to me when the bottle costs like 1.79 at ranch market. Anyways, we will never come here again. SERVICESUCKED!

Food was good but service was lacking. Food was especially slow coming out, and at the end of the meal the lady insisted on taking my friend’s soy dish even though he wasn’t finished. Very odd. A bit impersonal for my taste.

My go to sushi place! The staff is so nice and welcoming! The food is always consistent, and of course delicious. I’ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this place. Definitely satisfies a sushi craving!

I can pretty much copy my review for Little Madfish to Sozo’s… for their spider roll. My daughter is severely allergic to imitation crab and I ordered the spider roll without tobiko thinking they use the entire softshell crab. I could tell right away(we learned our lesson from the other restaurant) that they used fake crab for inside the roll instead of the entire REAL soft shell crab(they did use the legs for the ends). I told the waitress(owner?) Who seemed to be clueless. I gave 3 stars because they give large portions for their dinner bentos and miso soup plus edame was complimentary. I would come back but just have to check food more carefully.

Really great food at a good price! The one thing I don’t like about this place is when you call to order on the phone and they never let me talk I try to put in my order and the whole time they are talking over me!

The sushi is good for the price, but the staff is absolutely awful. I don’t know why I keep coming back here hoping that the service will get better. The server who is always there never seems to be happy, it’s almost like we’re inconveniencing her by showing up. While you’re in the middle of eating, she’ll even bring you the check! Once you’ve payed, she’ll immediately grab the check and read the tip you’ve left while you’re there, which is really awkward.

Mediocre service, pretty good sushi. Portion sizes are so good though I’d come back knowing I could get a big portion of poke salad and a roll with 10 pieces for under 20 dollars. Anywhere else you’d spend 30 probably. The food is decent, I’d say 6.5÷7 out of 10. The fish is pretty fresh, my favorite has always been the poke salad here and nothing has changed about that since almost ten years ago. The interior is alright, not as bad as some people make it out to be.

The best thing i’ve tried here is the Deluxe Teri Chicken Donburi. There is grilled chicken and veggies have a little umami. Portion size is pretty good if you’re hungry. The sukiyaki is way too salty. The sushi quality is something I would expect out of a shopping mall food court vendor. It can get busy here and service varies from fair to poor. They have a TV for sports. Interior and seating is dated. Just another Tri-Valley Korean sushi joint.

Every Time I come here the restaurant is dirty and sticky. Every time, I see different chefs. Sushi doesn’t taste fresh and of course it doesn’t taste the same. I always wonder y I come here… Today, there was a fruit fly in my soup. We tried sushi Hanabi(after I had Fruit fly soup at Sozo) it was fresh and tasty. Hope this saves you a trip or go in with a certain expectation.

Ate here recently for the very first time. My husband ordered several sushi plates, which he didn’t feel the fish was all that fresh. Our child had the Yaki soba, but the noodles weren’t authentic Japanese Yaki soba. My husband said, «Tasted like Chinese noodles.» I ordered the Tempura Vegetable Udon, which I liked, but when it came to the Tempura — it wasn’t crunchy, too much batter, very oily and the dipping sauce had an after taste I didn’t like. Friendly service, complimentary Edamame x2 and our meals came with miso soup + salad. Will we come back? Sadly no. Will I recommend this place to a friend or family? Most likely not.

This place is a regular lunch spot for me and my man. They have killer prices for their sushi and it has always been fresh when we go. The décor is drab, vinyl booths with mismatched plates. The customer service is pretty much what you pay for-meaning the waitresses here are verging on rude every time I have been here. When you walk in, they yell and point to where you should sit. That aside, I really do love the sushi and the sashimi here. When you sit down, they bring you complimentary edamame and miso soup. The sashimi here is amazing, one of them is 4 different types of fresh and large cuts of fish for $ 19.99 I also love the Unagi here, it’s never overcooked. I also enjoy the Poke Roll(spicy tuna with seaweed salad on top). Now, I have made some mistakes in the past here-Anything with a special sauce(like the Aloha Roll-with the mango sauce-which was disgustingly sweet) DON’T get it. Anyways, this is a quick place to grab a bite, don’t expect anything more that good food with good prices.

Friendly service. Quickly got perfect salted edamame beans and miso soup as well as a giant blue glass of water that I didn’t ask for. Not very drought aware. Didn’t get the diet Pepsi I ordered but that’s not that big of a deal. The chicken katsu was tough and dry bordering on unappetizing. Maybe I’m spoiled by going to Amakara in Dublin which is amazing. I’m disappointed because this place is close to my office.

Not the best, not the worst, but it is the closest sushi place by my work. Employees are only worried about getting the check, not friendly. Food takes forever to come out even if you just ordered a California roll. The sushi is decent, the entrees are much better. Never too busy.

My go-to restaurant for a lunchtime bento. The C7 combo offers a heaping portion of chicken teriyaki, tempura, sashimi, salad, edamame, and miso soup for only $ 12+tax. The sashimi and salad are always fresh, the teriyaki flavorful, and the tempura crispy. Service has always been great. TIP: Dine-in portions are typically much larger than take-out.
