Great place to just hang out. I ordered the honey green milk tea and it tasted great. Love coming here.

Awesome spot to study and get lunch. I always get the mango green tea with boba, a definite go to. Relaxed vibe. Basically writing this review so I can get that free upsize in the boba size tbh.

I have been coming here for three years and I absolutely love their drinks (especially the jasmine green milk tea/​earl grey) and boba! It’s the perfect chewiness and you can also decide how much sweetness you would prefer for your drinks. The food here is pretty Taiwanese inspired with the sweet sausage, popcorn chicken, string beans etc. The popcorn chicken and string beans are definitely my go to snacks! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick bite!

Dah best boba place so far in Pomona. I love their drinks but my favorite is honey green milk tea. Would recommend this place for anyone especially students.

I’m not usually a big fan of almond milk tea but theirs is perfect!!! The black tea is full bodied and strong and it’s not too sweet… I prefer it over ice but I think the next time I’ll get it hot… also try the mango green tea, so refreshing and flavorful :-) I’ll definitely be back!

I love this place! They have very helpful staff that makes the teas as sweet as you want. The food is great as well!

The barista here makes good drinks. Ordered lychee black tea & mango gt. Not overly sweet. The cashier was friendly and helpful! Good place to study, the place isn’t very loud!

Drove here all the way from the San Gabriel just for boba! Every time I come here I’m never disappointed. The cashier Laura was very friendly and nice! :)

This cha for tea location is the best! The customer service is always on point. They are so friendly and hospitable. They are open late for studying, which is super helpful for when buildings close on campus. This location is very close to campus, I can stop by for a quick refresher drink.

Hey cha is great! Also it is very good! I come here alllllllllllllll the time. It’s great for college students to come and chill.

I have always gone to Cha for Tea in Irvine so I was quite surprised there was a location in Pomona. Located close to the 57 fwy and CPP on Temple Ave, this location is convenient and easy to find. However, I do know that this plaza was once a ghost town-​looking place, but it seems like it will be popular once Zero Degrees comes to town as well. The inside is kind of small with a few tables/​chairs here and there, but very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The drinks– Almond milk tea was really good. no surprise there. This was my go-​to drink at Irvine Cha for Tea as well. You can customize your drink with ice and sugar level. They base their sugar level out of 5 pumps so I decided to go with 3 for mine and tasted fine without being overly sweet. Also had the milk green tea with 4 pumps and this tasted fine as well. I would definitely come back!
Tip: Wi-​fi available. Come here to drink boba/​eat snacks and study.

After 4 years in cal poly, never knew that there’s a boba place right outside the campus.
When i came, it’s mostly packed with students studying and stuff. Not really a good place to be loud, and chit chat with friends. I guess, i just feel bad disturbing them.
Right when you walked in, they have a few products for samples. I really liked that they have that. I tried the mango green tea, and fell in love with it. Love at first taste. ^_​^
Aside from drinks, we ordered crispy chicken and sweet potato fries. Nothing special with food, same as other places.
Would’ve been five stars, but i think this place is a little expensive compare to other places. I wished they put into consideration that most of their customers are broke college students. Every penny counts bro! I also notice that their portions of the appetizers are a little small. There’s barely anything on my crispy chicken.
I’ll definitely go back for their drinks, but skip on the appetizers.

Boba places in this area are a dime a dozen, however Cha is definitely my favorite. They have a great selection of teas. My favorites are mango green tea, rose bud tea, and almond milk tea. They have samples of their teas and some food items so if you’re new you can see what you like. They also have some loose leaf teas available to purchase (I buy the rose and lavender ones all the time).
Details:
–You can choose how sweet you want the tea by choosing levels 1 – 5. I am not into super sweet tea so I usually pick 1 or 2.
–Their boba is soft and chewy like a gummy bear. –They use nondairy creamer for their milk teas
5 stars!

I want to say 9 out 10 times I’m in the area I’ll stop by here. That one exception would be if I had already gotten a drink somewhere else earlier.
Ambiance:
Since this location is near a couple of college campuses, I’m not surprised there’s always students here with their laptops out «studying.» Yes, I know you’re probably looking through Unilocal or shopping on Amazon… I do the same thing… but it’s okay… the whole «laptop out, a pile of lecture notes, and a tea sitting in front of you» totally comes off as a studious student to any stranger passing by. It’s a quiet place with free wi-​fi so it really is the perfect place to come do some late night procrastinating/​studying. Or you can come catch up with a few friends as well!
Service:
The staff is great! They make your food and drinks so quickly. They are on top of their game! I love it! I really can’t complain.
Drinks:
Go to drink: Mango green tea with either lychee jelly or boba. Just depends on my mood. If you’re curious as to what it tastes like, you can always try a sample of it in the front near the entrance. You can also adjust the sweetness to your taste, which is something I love that they offer for most (if not all) of their drinks.
Definitely stopping by here the next time I even drive past this area!

Food and drinks here are very good! Salads are very fresh and their crispy chicken is tastey. If you don’t like the sweetness level or taste of your drink they will make you a new one, free of charge, with no attitude.
Try this place!

Came with a friend to catch up over drinks! There’s a decent amount of seating inside and outside but it can get packed when waves of people come in
They have samples of a few select drinks to try at the front of you want to try something new
—almond milk tea: 75% sweetness tasted normal sweet to me but yummy as usual (I’ve been to the Irvine location)
—curry chicken entrée: comes with rice or noodles, corn & a salad. Not bad, a bit oily but I liked the texture of the fried potatoes
One gripe: I was in a coffee mood and asked if they could mix their iced coffee with the almond milk tea and they said no customization… But if they have the ingredients I don’t see a problem with it! I know it’s a tea café but they need more coffee flavored drinks besides iced coffee!
