Awesome location! I had a huge Super Bowl party at my house with 100+ people and ordered 15+ pizzas for delivery. The girl I talked to on the phone was very friendly, professional and answered all questions I had. They not only delivered at the exact time I asked but the pizzas were hot and fresh! The delivery guy was really nice too. I definitely recommend this location over other Papa John’s locations in the area!

I never ordered from any Papa John’s before but we were hungry early at the office so we placed an order here. The Pizza(Spicy Italian) was just ok, not horrible, the sausage had good flavor, that was about it, sauce is somewhat bland. Now, on the other hand, the Cinnamon Knots were AMAZING, best part of the meal. The salad is a kit salad, the lettuce leaves were fresh, all your toppings are on a separate tray so you get to decide what goes on your salad. Delivery was close to on time, the driver was very friendly. I might order here again, there are better places that deliver pizza locally but they are not open this early, PJ’s opens at 10, most other places at 11, I would consider this would be a good back up place when you just HAVE to have pizza and you want it earlier in the day.

A couple coworkers and I ordered pizza for lunch and got it delivered. The person on the phone said it would take between 20 and 30 minutes. Our delivery man was Nasir, and he was so nice! He was very fast dropping the pizza off and was super friendly and polite. Great service, great pizza, and great employees!

They must be under new management since these older posts because that was the kindest, most helpful pickup experience ever. Even helped me out the the car with the kids. So kind and classy!

On Sunday March 22nd, my boyfriend and I decided to try Papa John’s pizza for their Brownie and Cookie special deal located at Foothill and Garey in Pomona. I am lactose intolerant and although most higher class restaurants that specialize in pizza will substitute their cheese with my(dairy free cheese) this Papa Johns WOULDNOT. My boyfriend even called the store to verify and make sure they would and he was told YES. When we got there, I began to explain about my dietary issues and wanted to place my order and the young man behind the counter said«we don’t do that». Then, he summons the manager over(some dude with dark sunglasses on) and said. It’s company policy. I said«why not?» every other pizza restaurant in town does. No sorry, no apology no nothing!!! If I were to treat my clients this way, they would say Hasta La Vista and never do business with me again. Keep in mind that I am disabled and made a special trip to this particular store for because of the commercial I saw. Not only did they refuse to make one pizza with my cheese instead of their mozzarella cheese, they were rude. Well, Papa John’s — — you just lost a customer forever and I plan to spread the word to all of my friends and family. Oh, btw, we published a «restaurant review» in our March issue of our newspaper. It’s up to you to figure out which paper it was published in. Bad Press is not good and that’s exactly what you get.

Ordered the cheesesteak pizza. It looked like it could have been used in a commercial. Perfect pizza.

This place is a joke. I placed an order for a large works with extra sausage. I come in 15 minute later to pick it up and they tell me that«someone» called and canceled my order??? And then they presume to tell me that I was the one who called to cancel it I asked them if they were sure it was my oeder? They said yeah, the one with extra sausage. This obviously is an establishment run by people who are incompetent. Made me wait another 15 minutes until it was made. Finally they saw my frustration and gave me the pizza for free.

My family really enjoyed the 6 cheese pizza and were sad when it was all eaten. LOL. I wish this location was open for delivery or pick up later though. I have called and been saddened that I couldn’t order their delicious food.

I’ve ordered delivery a few times. The pizza was always good and for only $ 10 for any large you can’t good wrong. I usually order the Works but I wanted a second pizza and the guy suggested the Hawaiian Chicken BBQ it was great.

i have been a customer since 2000 and have gone through lots of different management at papa johns! I’m not going to lie at one point the service and pizza were just horrible but for the past 2 months the etiquette over the phone and customer service as you walk in has been amazing! i hope its because they finally hired a gm who loves his job and knows how to retain customers because it is at its best right now!!! and a big shout out to Luis Vargas for making my experience at papa johns amazing, cause this is my first Unilocal review ever.

Well, Pappa Johns was the new kid on the block a few years back and they really used big chunks of good natural ingredients. The have since gone straight down hill over the last couple of years. The ingredients are much smaller in portion and they need to do something about the sauce. It is really bland. We tried the new chicken bites(I know, not from a pizza joint) and they were the absolute worst chicken bites we have ever had. It tasted worse than frozen tyson, oh, thats a compliment. needless to say, it was terrible. the regular wings were ok. The pizza arrived and it was cold and just lacked any pop at any level. I will stay with the small mom and pop shops who know how to make pizza, with TLC!

MYGOODNESS I WILLNEVEREVEREVERORDERFROMTHISPLACEEVERAGAIN. I order pizza on Monday the delivery guy took forever then he didn’t have my drinks for the order. I offered to pay for the pizza and he just needed to bring my drinks back then I handed him $ 40 I needed $ 11 back and he had no money on him then he leaves takes the pizza comes back to bring the pizzas back then forgets the drinks goes back to get the drink. I speak to the manager and she has an attitude at first. Sends him back again but here is the kicker WEFOUND3LONGSTRANDOFHAIRINONEOFTHESLICES. And the managers tells me «Oh well no one here has the colored hair so you have to bring the pizza back so I can take a look». I don’t have a car so if I wanted to pick up a pizza there would have been no point for me to do a phone order.

Wow… their phone orders for delivery takes so long. placed an order for one large with pineapple and jalapeño peppers with a side of wings and about an hour an half later no pizza… I think I’ll stick to pizza hut for now.

I honestly don’t understand why this store has such low ratings. This is by far my favorite pizza delivery place in the area. I normally get their thin crust pizza with extra sauce and light cheese and it is delicious. If you order online and create an account you can earn«papa points» towards a free large pizza. It’s a pretty cool deal that I haven’t seen replicated at similar chains. Time-wise they always deliver on time and the drivers are all friendly and professional. My pizza is always hot and they haven’t ever messed up my order(unlike Domino’s). My only complaint is that I wish they were open a bit later!

Hey for 10 bucks for a large specialty pizza and you can add as many toppings as you want they get a good rating from me. Not the #1 best pizza I’ve had but pretty good definatley like what they have offer. I’ll keep coming here!

Grmmmph. Disappointing. I’ve been ordering pizzas for a long time, people, and this Papa John’s has been going downhill for about two years now. I think it used to be ‘a-ok’ to ‘yay’ status, but no more. The online ordering seems to be easy. Except that once my order was verified and then somehow never actually turned into a pizza order at the shop. Last night, I ordered an online special — 2 larges for $ 10 each with up to 7 toppings. One of these was to be a thin crust, but a few minutes after placing the order, I got a call telling me that there is no more thin crust. So they made the pizza on regular crust which I don’t care for and they did not offer compensation, discount, coupon, or anything. I just got screwed by them(I’d already PAID for a thin crust online!) and they didn’t seem to care. I mean the guy on the phone apologized, but come on. Give me something! Next time, I’ll go with Domino’s and try their new sauce.

I’ve been to much cleaner Papa John’s Pizza establishments before. I’ve been to «A» rated Papa John’s Pizza establishments before. Neither of these really describes this Papa John’s Pizza. I came here Friday to pick up a few pizzas for work. I remembered that many of the Papa John’s have the ready to go pizzas. However, when I walked in and asked if they had that offer here I was told they didn’t. I asked them about the neon sign they have up claiming $ 6.99 for a large 1 item carryout pizza. She said that’s all it was and promptly took my money. According to her, they didn’t have the ready to go anymore. I was going to have to wait 15 minutes for them to make my pizzas. Grrrr. I needed to be back to work by 2 p.m. for an event and I was hoping that it wouldn’t take too long for the pizzas to get made. I left with my two piping hot pizzas and realized as I walked out the door that this Papa John’s had a «B» rating. I was glad to leave because the place reminded me of a second class pizza joint. Not too fresh anymore, a bit tired around the edges, and in desperate need of a cleaning.
