No stars. First of all our waiter was so put off and rude, not to mention they sat us in the back were the workers take their breaks and heard all there conversations and counting their tips, the food was not all that needless to say I’ll never be going back felt like I was at a circus.

Good service and decent food. I wish they had a choice of regular butter for the bread. I love cinnamon, but it doesn’t go with a mean, to me.

Pretty good experience … The bread and cinnamon butter was on point. Ordered the 12 oz prime rib, loaded baked potato and the green beans. The prime rib was outstanding. The baked potato well, it was a baked potato. I didn’t get my green beans(that’s why I am only giving it 4 stars). The staff was very friendly and talkative. I will be back when I’m in town again.

I am adding 1 star for the one waitress I saw actually doing her job and taking excellent care to have a great dining experience. It seems to be a lack of management for real. Sure the manager comes around asking how are things but, when food leaves the kitchen area it is another story. So much clowning and conversation among the employees they seem to lack the message of their job duties like get the food out while it is still hot and put more than a cup of chili on a dish, like where is the spoon to eat it with not to mention the onions and cheese. Even the managers seem to be engaged in some of the classic clowning and not making sure food is put out when ready. Even though he did recook another steak for me I had to ask the waitress to take the fries back and get new when my steak was ready. Seems like a lack of real bosses there to keep this well known Texas Roadhouse alive even with all the competition around there. Good thing the peanuts are finally fresh. Honestly they do have the best chili I have found and the salads are fresh. Love the country music too. Hey, owners are you listening? Fortunately my last time going there to eat at Texas Roadhouse during mid day was a much better experience rather than the evening hours. Food and service was much better early hours. I am adding a star with hope the problems of evening hours is corrected

What can I say… Perfect! Atmosphere is high energy with friendly employs and very upbeat. Our server Katlyn was very nice and recommended a great meal. We began with a combination sampler that included: chicken tenders, rattlesnake bites(hot poppers) and potato skins. The appetizer was scrumptious. For the main corse we ordered a 11oz sirloin steak. I prefer mine medium rare and when it arrived steaming hot… I was in heaven! Cost is a little on the high side, but well worth the cost. You can expect the cost to be on range of $ 10 to $ 25 dollars depending on your cut of steak. Restrooms were tidy and very clean in appearance with well stocked toiletries. I strongly recommend this establishment if your craving an excellent steak. You’ll be pleasantly surprised and your taste buds will thank you.

Love me some Texas Roadhouse just not this one in Port Arthur. Not the greatest place due to out of this and out of that. Service isn’t that great. We have been in here and they didn’t have the drink I wanted or the salad… Really your out of salad. That’s just odd

Best steaks for a chain place. Free peanuts and bread. The sides are average. They always seem to run out of prime rib so if you want it you better get there early. The bone in rib eye is the best steak and is reasonably priced.

Came to Texas Roadhouse expecting the good service and food that I’m acutom to and basically got a surprse. My aunt and two cousins asked for for well done steaks and I asked for a mediumrare steak. Two of the well done steaks came out med well, and my aunt could see from the juice around the plate that it was not well done so she told the server Christian and instead of taking it back to the kitchen he wanted to argue. We talked to a manager and he wanted to make excuses for the rude server. Custmer service is not what it use to be.

This particular Texas Roadhouse location is one of the best Bar & Grill establishments I’ve ever seen in this area. The bar staff is always awesome. Reasonably priced with both food and drinks. Very attentive staff. Friendly, and approachable. Parking is limited, but nearby parking still available. Wait times can be excessive, but overall… Good for groups that have planned ahead. Call ahead seating is available and recommended.

Table and seats both had food on them when we were seated, when we asked a busser to clear it off we were met with teenage angst and complaints about their job. Server was great, prompt, and polite. Food was good as always. Would have been 5 stars if hosts were spending more time paying attention to customers rather than their phones and if the bussers wouldn’t complain about their job to customers. All in all, good food, less than professional staff. Not sure if we will go back or not

Take out service here is terrible. Called 3 times was out on hold both times, waited over 5 minutes each time. Hung up called back the third time, asked the girl not to put me on hold and told her I had been waiting now 10 minutes on hold. She very rudely said,” I am the hostess and I can’t help it, I can’t take an order and the the To Go Girl isn’t around here”. I said never mind, they lost a sale today and maybe a good customer.

This place is your typical Texas Roadhouse. Super drinks, good chili and hot waitresses. I usually get the chili with cheese and onions. The beer is cold and the bread is always on par. The food is on time and they never disappoint. I’m not a steak eater so I can’t comment on that much. Although the people I have been here with seem to like it.

Good food most the time. Service is decent. I get the chicken fried chicken a lot here with white cream gravy and it seems like they just can’t ever get the gravy right. It never tastes like its supposed to. Other than that, everything else is pretty good.

Taking a few stars away as they(just today) started line dancing again. C’mon — who goes out to eat to see the servers dance to C&W music? 1 They cranked the music up *loud* for them to dance to 2 While dancing they take up the main aisle and discourage anyone from disturbing their floor show(say, like, passing by — as if there’s room to do that — it’s really narrow) 3 Because of this — we had to wait on our waiter(huh?!?), he wouldn’t come to our table while they were«performing» — he said«manager’s orders» 4 They’re unduly kicking up peanut hull dust — no thanks! 5 I’m an old curmudgeon who would prefer to have the music at a reasonable level and not be subjected to this cr*p Guess we”ll be taking our business down the highway(Outback) where they don’t encourage such things and pay extra for a more relaxed dining experience and larger diverse menu.

You cannot go wrong with a steak from RH. I have had them all and all are great. The 8oz fillet is my fav with added mushrooms. I had no issues with the service and the manager came by twice checking on me. That says a lot since I was dining by myself.

I discovered Texas Roadhouse a few months back and the times we’ve been back since it has never disappointed. It is usually only me and my husband but this place after they open is always packed and people waiting. If you’re going with a large group it’s probably best to call ahead and make a reservation. But if it is just 2 people you can usually get a seat relatively quickly, though it depends. Food is always good and hot with not a very long wait time. The bread rolls they bring once you are seated are delicious and fresh. If you’re one that gets squeamish for peanut shells being thrown on the floor then this may not be for you, but you’ll definitely be missing out. You have the option to pick your own steak before you’re seated which is neat. There is also a bar that always has people at it that I’ve been meaning to try. There are TVs placed about near the bar with sports usually playing. The waiters/waitresses are are usually attentive with the exception of one visit we went and she was a bit over the top and rude with her joking. Each time we’ve been the manager always visits the table to ask how is everything(sometimes we’ve had him come by 3 or more times which can get a little annoying during one single visit). The atmosphere is rustic, loud and energetic. Definitely a place to try if you’re in the area!
