Due to popular request we decided to try this place on an early morning out of town. It was a little busy but I expected it since it’s so popular!
I ran in and orderd two vanilla lattes. I waited about 10 mins because there was one girl taking orders and making the drinks and one girl making the food. I didn’t mind the wait Bc the shop is so cute!
My boyfriend loved his latte but for me it was too sweet. It was very very good but I just couldn’t drink it.
We of course will be back. It will probably just take me some time to find the right drink for me!

I may be biased because I grew up going here but in my opinion it’s better than any chain coffee place I’ve ever been to. I’m not an expert on coffee but they’re extremely friendly, the drinks taste good, and the food is certainly better than starbucks.

Cool place on the inside, staff seemed friendly, kid was happy with his hot chocolate, however my Moca tastes a lot like a Latte… not a fan of Lattes.. need more chocolate.

Really nice, little, coffee shop. Employees were extremely nice. I ordered the raspberry white chocolate latte over ice and it was delicious. 4-​stars only because my order was wrong the first time and they had to remake it.

Awesome little coffee place! For drinks, we tried an iced mocha and mango smoothie. And for sandwiches, my husband got an egg and jack cheese croissant and I tried the Turkey and bacon bagel. Everything was delicious! We are only in the area for a few more days and already have breakfast plans the rest of our stay.

Great coffee and much more. They use REAL whipped cream on their fancy coffee drinks, they make their own homemade soups daily and you can get a slice of quiche that was baked earlier that morning. Sandwiches, frappes and mochas OH MY!

You gotta come for the warm and welcoming staff and good food. It was obvious that I was an out-​of-​towner, but everyone was patient with me and made me feel comfortable. It’s an awesome lunch spot that’s not crazy busy. The sandwiches are made to order and there’s no fuss if you want a bagel, toasted crossiant, etc. instead of sliced bread. It’s like Burger King. You can have it your way.

Great little coffee shop located in the historic district of Port Clinton! The service is outstanding, as well as the variety of coffees on offer. I’ve never been to a café like it.
They sell a large selection of delicious baked goods as well. When my fiancée and I visited, it was still morning, so we sampled a piece of spinach quiche… crispy crust done to perfection. Delicious!
There’s a nice patio to sit where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the scenery from the park across the street.
Coffee Express is a must-​visit-​café if you’re in the Port Clinton area.

Surprise! Found incredible coffee shop in Port Clinton OH. Best drinks we have had east of the Mississippi. Muffins to die for. Great location/​atmosphere. Way to go Coffee Express.

I remember spending an entire day here when I was in high school visiting my friend and she had to work her shift. You could easily spend a day here! I love the cozy atmosphere and the vibe and feel of the place. We had to stop in Port Clinton to pick something up before we headed to Cedar Point recently and so we stopped here to get a coffee pick me up. Their specialty drinks are really tasty and I tried the raspberry Italian soda that my best friend’s daughter got and I wanted to steal it from her. Very friendly waitstaff and great coffee shop!

This coffee shop had two of the most amazing muffins I have ever had the pleasure of eating. One was peach (peach muffin, who knew?) and the other was cappuccino chocolate chip. Huge in size as well as weight, I knew as soon as I felt the heft of the bag that we were in for a treat. So moist and delicious. There were so many varieties of baked goods, I want to come back and try them all.
The actual coffee was very good as well. It tasted fresh and there were several varieties to choose from. It was a quaint little place, packed, and filled with a lot of regulars as well as tourists. The line still moved quickly and everyone was friendly.
What a cool little coffee shop. I’ll be sure to come back if I am in the area again.

An actual coffeeshop! Without this place you’d have to drive 30 minutes to the nearest Starbucks or anything comparable, so it’s great to find a coffeeshop. They have ample seating inside and outside and they also sell food and baked goods, along with a couple dozen varieties and flavors of coffee beans.
I only had an iced coffee, so I can’t comment on the actual quality of the coffee or food, but it was exactly what I needed.
About 2 – 3 blocks from the Jet Express dock.
Highly recommended.
