My hubby is a coffee fein so I took him here for Father’s Day. This is a cute café attached to the Burlington hotel in Port Costa across the street from the Warehouse. This café serves pour over coffee, simple breakfast cakes and scones(pound cake and cornbread cake, bacon. yes bacon! The breakfast cakes are all made in house so they come fresh right out of the oven. There are a few tables inside and a seating area outside. I’ve had my engagement photos taken at this café. That’s how much I adore this place. So cute and rustic. Staff who run the café are friendly. I believe they are a husband and wife team.

Destination coffee, honey and bacon. The most charming venue on the planet. Antique storefront, vintage everything. Delicious pour over coffee

The best coffee in the area. Friendly great staff & everything on the menu is very good. The only thing i would want different is to have more on the menu. There are about 5 items currently so not much to choose from. Very cool that this place even opened up so i wont complain much, just glad we have a place with great coffee & atmosphere to go to on weekends, if you live in crockett or port costa you’ll know where I’m coming from.

We stayed at the Burlington Hotel for the weekend and with the stay you get a complimentary coffee and pound cake or cornbread from the café downstairs. The café had a decent atmosphere. The cornbread and coffee were good, but the café workers were VERY slow, gossiped about their Unilocal/facebook reviews in front of customers, and the portions were small. Everything extra was really pricey… 4 slices of bacon for $ 6, a biscuit for $ 3… and they didn’t serve traditional breakfast foods(eggs, fruit, etc). I would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast(Concord and Vallejo are 15 – 20 minutes away), but it was an ok snack. I dislike their negative attitude in general.

biscuit was very tasty, coffee was good, and a pile of old magazines to read. I picked 1954 National Geographic, very interesting and fun to read.

Come for the bacon stay for the pound cake. Oh and enjoy some really great coffee. What more could you ask for? I know how about some eggs lol ! We have been here a couple of times and it’s always good. My wife had the fresh squeezed OJ and I took a sip it was grand. I’ll get my own next time. Be sure to walk around the hotel and take in the sights and sounds of this forgotten time capsule.

We are semi-locals always looking for good relaxing weekend coffee. The first time few times we came into Bee My Honey Café we were greatly by a friendly pair of young people. Made our finicky children Lemonade even though it wasn’t on the menu and it was just a nice welcoming atmosphere. When they saw we had cameras out they offered to show us some of the Burlington Hotel rooms. I have older, well behaved children who also enjoyed our first visits there. After not visiting for some time we came back about a month ago. The two folks that are in there now are what we refer to as «nice enough». The coffee and food is good a bit pricey but good but the vibe and feeling when you walk in just… doesn’t do it. I’m not asking for overly friendly chatty Cathys… I like to enjoy my time but when you walk into a place and feel unwelcome it’s just no good. After this mutual feeling between my boyfriend we came back a few weeks later figuring maybe it was just a bad day and someone had the grumps, but no. Still the same unwelcoming feeling. We asked if Lemonade could be made for the kids the first time back and it was a big NOPE. Fair enough, it’s not on the menu(but an arnold palmer is and it wasn’t on the menu before when they made it for us). This weekend we were thinking we should grab coffee somewhere and decided we’d rather not spend our time and money where people are just nice enough and we felt uncomfortable.

This is an adorable place to visit on the weekend when you’re wanting a cup of strong coffee and something sweet. They offer two things — sweet cornbread cake and a pound cake drizzled with honey that I think is sourced from a hive up on the roof. Coffee is individually brewed with options from Nicaragua and Ethiopia when I visited. Two dog friendly picnic tables out front.
