We went here because we had a groupon. The place is simple. The waitress we had was Michelle, she was great ! we ordered the calamari Arrabiata, Cooked perfectly, yummy ! I ordered the Chicken saltimboca. it was very tasty but the chix wasnt fully cooked. i ate the cooked parts and brought the rest home to finish cooking. My husband ordered the Tilapia Toscano. He loved it ! Michelle refilled our wine glasses as soon as they were empty. Nice ! we didnt care for the entertainer that night. He played the music on a speaker & sang along too it. it was way too loud. An experience but dont think we would go back.

This is not a place to go for quick take out or to host a party. The prices aren’t low. The décor is not universally appealing. But I love it. The people who work there are lively, sincere and friendly. The food is excellent, always made with the best ingredients and unique recipes that must be someones family secret. Make sure you order something that isn’t in the counter as well as something that is. The stuff that is prepared is good, but this food needs to be enjoyed fresh out of the oven or kitchen. The dinner bread is unique, it’s made with high gluten dough, and while not everyone can enjoy gluten, do if you can, it is like nothing else. I’ve been eating here for years and I go back because of the unique and exceptional recipes and the people that prepare and serve them.

Used to like this place and my family used to come here alot. Sadly, after watching the way this crappy owner talks to people and treats them we will not be visiting here and giving him our business anymore. And from other reviews that I have read, it seems he is like this alot. The so-called owner likes to sneak in prices so beware when you book parties with him. I also have family that owns a pizzeria too so I know how normal people conduct business unlike Vito. We just had our daughter’s christening dinner there on Saturday, 5⁄30. Vito told us it would be $ 19.99 a person. Originally he told my mom, who was helping me plan this, that this included pasta, salad, a choice of 1 of 4 entrees that we picked out for the menu, and soft drinks. Then my mother told me that the soft drinks were not included. Ok fair enough. So everyone agreed to pay for their own soft drinks or alcohol if they wanted it. We also verified this with him when we dropped off the cake Friday night and we also ate dinner there Friday night so he had extra business from us. When we were verifying things with him on Friday night he got nasty and kept telling us how he told my mother over and over again that soft drinks weren’t included and then talked up his pricing saying how much we would be getting and saving vs. going to another restaurant. That alone left a bad taste in my mouth but I thought nothing of it. He also told us that he would be shutting down the restaurant for this occasion which he did not and that we would need to be out by 5:00 for the dinner rush. Again, fair enough. So the day comes, my husband and I arrive there a few minutes late since we have a 5-month-old and we had to make sure she was changed and fed before we left the house after her christening ceremony. Our party was already there and I see pitchers of soda and water on the table. My mother comes up to me and tells me she was told by the waitress that drinks are included and it’s unlimited. I think to myself ok, guess he decided to throw them in, maybe he felt bad for how he spoke to us yesterday or he’s having a good day. I also asked my mom if she was sure and she said yes and everyone in the party double checked with the waitress who said she checked with Vito twice and was told yes it’s included. The reason that they learned this was because someone in the party asked to start a tab for his soft drinks since he was paying on his own and was told«oh no it’s all included». Ok great. Didn’t think anything of it. There were also other people dining in the restaurant so I figured guess he decided not to close down the restaurant for the few hours we were there. We didn’t even stay until 5. We were taking pictures in front of the cake and tI noticed the waitress standing behind us looking displeased and she asked if she could hurry and start cutting the cake. I wasn’t sure why she was rushing us since it was only 3:00 and we had until at least 4:45 to pack up and leave. We were gone by 4, so I wasn’t thrilled that I was being rushed. And yes, he did give us penne to start, but it wasn’t an added dish like he made it sound, because normally his entrees come with pasta and they did not for this occassion, and he counted the small plate of penne as an «added dish», the salad that we got was tiny and he made it sound like he was giving us all this stuff. We were also told coffee & tea was included with our price. Again didn’t think anything of it until the bill came that charged me & my husband for 15 people at a price of $ 24.22. We thought this was tax and tip included because we had a big party. We asked the waitress and she said it was not included. Vito comes out and tells us the extra was the soda that we ordered. When our family explained that the waitress told us the soda was included otherwise we would not have ordered it. Vito starts getting nasty and telling myself, my husband, and my mother that he told us 1,000 times that it wasn’t included and the bill was $ 366.00 and that’s what we owed him. Then he starts going into how much he gave us for so little, meanwhile yes he gave us stuff but took away from what his meals normally come with. So no in essence it really wasnt a deal. I was getting stressed out and my daughter’s diaper had to be changed so I went into the bathroom. By the time I come out, I hear Vito getting nasty saying he told us what was what but that he will eat the cost of the soda and blamed us for making him feel bad. We explained that we were misinformed several times, then he said well let me tell you this won’t happen to me again I’ll make sure of that. So then we sat down with the bill and still couldn’t figure out why he charged more per person, we later figured out he snuck in a charge for coffee and tea which he also said were included. He comes out and tells us thats what we owe him and he could have charged us for the cake plates and didnt. Also yelled at us that he shut down the restaurant for us meanwhile he didnt.

We wanted to support a local business instead of one of the better known busy chain restaurants, but, sadly, will not be returning to Vito’s. Our pizza had very little sauce or cheese and far too much space space between the sprinkling of finely sliced mushrooms. While we were initially enthusiastic about the appealing garlic/basil aroma wafting from our take home dinner, the dry texture of the pizza left us wishing we had spent $ 20 somewhere else. Vito’s could turn around their business by offering customers a reason to stop by – pizzas that have more topping than crust.

I ordered takeout from here via Seamless(though delivered by Vito’s). The food was only just OK, except for the zeppoles which I bit into to find they were still raw dough in the center. The delivery person ignored my delivery instructions, my salad was left out of the meal & had to be delivered afterwards, and the owner I spoke with on the phone would not honor my request for a refund for the missing salad, instead requesting that next time I place an order I do it directly through them and he’d knock some money off. I told him I had no intention of ordering from the restaurant ever again. Luckily at that moment the salad showed up, so I didn’t bother pressing the issue. I dislike giving 1 star reviews, but the delivery, food, and customer service were all handled so poorly that I can’t say anything good about this place.

Our first visit to Vito’s. Food and service were terrific. Especially the tilapia with spinach, and the eggplant parmesan. Wine was also great. Salad delish and lovely people. What a nice family restaurant! Absolutely worth a visit from anywhere.

This place is great! My husband and I stopped in with a coupon off groupon and it has been our go to pizza place ever since. The owner is very nice and makes some real awesome food! The chicken parm Heros are the best around and they’re made with fresh homemade Italian bread you could eat plain and its still mouthwatering good. The meatballs are better than my own secret family recipe. Vodka sauce is creamy and full of tasty meat and veggies. Every time we go we try something new and have not been disappointed!

We visited Vito’s for the first time last night for the valentines day/Elvis show. I was initially met with a overwhelmed greeter/waitress who told us our reservation was not recorded properly. After finding space for us, I couldn’t figure out why the floor was so sticky. Took several minutes to get our overwhelmed waitress to explain both the menu and wine list, they did not have the wine she mentioned. The pasta portion rather small in a very large bowl was sub par, overdone and just ok. We finally received the meat portion of the meal at 745, dinner begun at 6. I had a shrimp dish that consisted of a breading of bread crumbs and coconut, it might have been the worst meal I’ve ever eaten. My wife fared just slightly better with a dried, overlooked chicken bruschetta that wasn’t much better. As the awaiting crowd grew anxious for the 8pm seating and my stomach grew upset from the horrible meal, it was time to go. An unfortunate ending to what was supposed to be a romantic valentines dinner. The one bright spot was the bread, thank god for it. Also, the Elvis performer was good, he involved the crowd and provided a nice show for the guests. Safe to say, we will not be visiting Vito’s in the future.

When Vito’s first opened I really enjoyed their food. The staff has always been friendly, but it seems that lately their food has been lacking. The sauce on the pizza does not have as much flavor as it use to and most of the food tastes like it has been sitting around for a while. This use to be a favorite of mine, but it has been very disappointing lately. I prefer Rocco’s which is just as close to my home, sorry Vito’s!

This place did not meet any expectations I had for it. Figured I’d try the underdog since some of the other Pizzerias in the area have lost there personal touch when they became popular. I tried a Ziti slice and a regular, Cold sauce, bland tasting hard ziti’s all round not fresh. The dough tasted like church bread. Judging by the empty display cooler… this place isn’t doing to well. Friendly staff, lots of potential but not enough emphasis on food quality here…

Pizza wasn’t very good. Sauce in my opinion was too garlicky. Tasted more like cheesey garlic bread with tomato sauce. There are better pizza options in the area. But, this place delivered. Service was good. Nice guy on the phone and delivery guy was nice, too.

Very friendly service unfortunately the food was subpar. Fried mozzarella was nothing more than store bought mozzarella sticks overly cooked too empty shells .I’ve had better red sauce out of the can. I had some kind of chicken parm eggplant combination the chicken was greasy rubbery and unappetizing the entire dish was basically a massive cheese breading and oily mess. Waitress was very nice and comped my meal which was inedible. She knew we would not return. I’ve had far better meals at Marios or Amici’s.

Weekdays are empty — food was ok seasoned I came here during a weekday with a groupon so the place was completely empty and service was fast lol. The spot is half pizzeria and half dinning so take your pick.

Went to Vito’s for the first time the other day and it was good. Only tried the pizza, but everyone thought it was really good. Couldn’t really ask for more. Definitely worth going if you’re in the area.

I think Vito’s has a lot of potential. The food itself is excellent, and that’s a great start. The ambiance could use a little work, obviously you can’t expect much from a stripmall location, but I think they could do better. They’ve managed to do a little decorating by allowing a local artist to hang pieces on the walls, but that’s about the extent of it. From looking at the décor, you would not be able to tell the type of cuisine they serve. The stuffed eggplant was pretty much fantastic. It’s in their vodka sauce, which was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Stuffed with homemade riccotta, which in itself was exquisite, and prosciutto, and perfectly breaded and fried. Their bread is homemade as well, and has that bakery fresh taste. The salad was just ok — a decent house dressing, and I ate all the black olives. Other than that, it was pretty forgettable(but acceptable). I had the lasagna, and only one complaint about it — it was a pretty sad serving size for the price. My favorite thing about eating Italian is usually the massive serving sizes allow me to get an extra meal out of the leftovers. Not with that lasagna. But nonetheless, it was truly a great lasagna, again the homemade riccotta lead the way, but the tenderness of the pasta and the savory red sauce was a good balance. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken Parm, of which she had the opposite problem as me. The serving size was massive(that ended up being my lunch the next day :)) but she wasn’t big on it. Partially because of her particular preference; they use a very thick cutlet and pan fry it, she prefers a thinner cutlet. But the sauce was a little watery too. I enjoyed the other half of her meal as a leftover the next day, but I wouldn’t say it was nearly as outstanding as the stuffed eggplant or appetizer-sized lasagna. My last and final gripe about the food/drink is the wine. We asked for a couple glasses of cab, and they served us something mediocre, but acceptable. Then the bill arrived, and I was floored when I realized I was charged $ 7.50 per glass, so the four glasses we consumed came to $ 30. I would never have ordered a bottle of cab that crappy for $ 30 had I known. Lesson learned: suck up my «I’m too uppity to ask the price of a glass of wine» pride and just freaking ask next time. They have a live singer on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, which is a very nice touch. We happened to know the singer when we were there from another restaurant, so that was cool. I have the feeling that Vito’s could be a 4-star joint with just a little more effort, a slightly improved wine list(nothing crazy), and a little more size to the entrees and it’ll be solid. Next time I visit, I am definitely having the vodka sauce!!!
