I’ve passed by this place many times and assumed it was just an art gallery. I walked in for the first time on Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised! The ambiance was great: cozy, cool paintings everywhere, quiet jazz music, and some small tables to study or talk.(This was at 8:30PM on a weekday, so I’m not sure what the store is like at other times.) I’m a tea drinker and was happy with the eight Mighty Leaf blends. The guy behind the counter(maybe the owner?) made sure I knew the recommended steeping time, which was kind of fun. I’d definitely come here again. Great place to read a book, chat with friends, or just peruse some interesting pieces of art.

I remember the good old days when I could sit in a café and enjoy freshly brewed coffee. Where each café had it’s own personality and ambiance. I thought those days were gone and then I discovered the Gallery Café. Coffee snobs will enjoy the attention to detail that goes into each shot and hand dripped coffee. Coffee beans are freshly roasted by the owner. You’ll enjoy rich coffee and espresso without any bitterness after taste. There is a plethora of artwork to entertain you as you wait for your coffee to be made. Maybe you’ll spot a special canvas and bring it home. What a pleasure to spend time in this café.

This is the best coffee I’ve had in a long time — my sister-in-law is a coffee snob and she agreed. I like the ambiance and classical music. Surprisingly unstuffy, and while you wait for the 2min for the espresso to come out, it’s fun to look at the various paintings for sale or browse through the prints. Fun place for coffee date, far better than the big chains, you’ll find an table with character, or sit in comfy chairs by the window counter and people watch.

Love this place — Mike(the owner) has a fastidious attention to detail and a love of music, art and coffee that are readily apparent from the moment you order. When I go to a new place I like to try multiple things on the menu, and have tried everything from black coffee(freshly hand roasted beans daily makes for a beautiful flavor) to decaf teas(ask for his recommendation, and wait a minute or two to drink because he heats the water to the exact correct temperature for the best flavor… Seriously) to a refreshing and slightly tangy mango smoothie. Everything I have had so far has been top quality, made by a person that truly cares. Mike is always friendly, without ever being pushy, and will leave you to enjoy the soft classical music, artwork, and conversation with your companions as long as you like.

This is by far the best coffee I’ve ever had. It’s actually in an art gallery so it’s a bit elusive. All beans are organic and roasted daily. Yes, Daily. Each cup is hand crafted. If you buy beans, you’ll have to wait a day because he custom roasts each pound every morning. Starbucks is down the block, but skip it. This is the place. Also, ask him about his elaborate cold process brew which he’s been doing way before Sbux started on the bandwagon.

Was on my way to breakfast and had a wait of 39 minutes, so I thought I’d stop in for coffee and take in all the art. My fiancé ordered a pastry and myself a latte, his pastry was molded and my coffee tasted like water. We brought it to the employees attention and all he did was offer for a different molden green pastry. Horrible experience.
