Staff, and everybody there was nice, friendly. Food was mediocre. Certainly not worth the price. My french onion soup that was 7 or 8 bucks i was very disappointed. Our tab was 50 bucks for a couple of burgers and one soup.

3 stars because the waitress/busser/hostess was working her fanny off and being generally amazing. The food, however, left a lot to be desired. 1st. If you serve something in a flour tortilla– WARMORTOASTTHETORTILLA otherwise its just a goopy wad of flour paste. 2nd. the crab in the crab cakes was basically put through a blender. Crab flavored baby food was more like it. tasteless and damp. I can’t believe this is what passes for good food. 2 stars for the food– 4 stars for the waitress/busser /hostess so averaging out to 3 stars at best.

We have been here two times and both times the food and service has been wonderful. This is our go to place when my siblings are in town.

Driving through on the way to Tacoma, read all the wonderful reviews and decided to stop in for dinner, website stated they closed at 9, it was 7:55. No sooner did we get in the door we were rudely informed that the kitchen was closing«just so you know». When I pointed out what the hours stated on the website I was again rudely informed that they were wrong. Very poor customer service on all fronts.

Lots of awards when I walked in, so I was excited to try this place I had heard so much about. Unfortunately it was a disaster. The Northwest Duo planked salmon was dry and overcooked(and looked nothing like the Lauryn P’s photo below). The crab-cakes were mushy, almost like they had been frozen or cooked at too low of a temperature. I ordered fruit for my daughter, it was out of a can! I poured ¼ cup of Nasty Oily Asian Something out of my wife’s steak skewer appetizer that wasn’t on skewers and was probably microwaved, and she still couldn’t eat it. Come on… I dine out at least 3 times a week and at 75 dollars this was the worst place I have been to in a long time. 75 dollars!!! For what… not a soul asking how we are doing, no place settings when we sit down, no water, bread(We have table bread service upon request) or anything. No asking if I would like another poorly mixed drink. Maybe I’ll send an award for«Best inability for wait staff to notice a 25 dollar piece of murdered salmon hasn’t been eaten». Or «Amazing ability to ignore a new bowl of fluid that looks like it came from a car outside on the table». If a member of the waitstaff asks how was everything when 85% of the meal is deconstructed and left on the table, the answer out of the customer’s mouth is erroneous. If the food was really good, it wouldn’t be on the plate. I don’t think the chef on the positive writeups in the waiting area was cooking, but I sure hope it wasn’t him. To let unhappy patrons leave with a full hit on an large bill is a surefire way to ensure people hear about a poor experience or never come back. Amy and her Husband Jeremy seem like really good people. A hardworking and dedicated team from the looks of what they have accomplished. I would love for this place to turn it around and impress. It looks like it has in the past. Let me know when you get it back Amy and we can try again.

Myself and three others came here for lunch today and all of the food on the menu looked fantastic, we had a really hard time choosing what to have. The crab and shrimp dip was excellent, although a little spicy. It also could have stood to have some more focaccia bread on the plate with it, but was still good. The French onion soup was very good, and I’m really picky on French onion as is one of the friends that was with me. We finished it all and were very pleased. Two other friends had the clam chowder soup and they also liked it. The others got the cod and the breaded salmon and really liked it. They commented that the two piece serving would have been enough, and that the three was a bit much. My fiancé got the crab and lobster cakes and the wild salmon duo. It was delicious! He ate it all and was very pleased. I have never tasted better crab and lobster cakes. I had the sirloin medallions and they came with onion rings on top and some amazing sauce. I ordered rice to go with it. It was more than enough food and I even brought some back to the hotel with us.

The food was very mediocre. I think most if not all the food was pre made, I don’t know for sure but the soup was probably Campbell’s. That being said, the service was good and the place was clean. They pushed the drinks, which should have told us what the food would be like. I don’t recommend this, there’s better food for the price.

The food: 3 – 4 stars The service: 0 stars While the staff were very polite, for a normal Sunday they seemed quite ill prepared and overwhelmed. We came on a whim over the BBQ fest, and would have been better off eating in the street. We waited 10 minutes to be seated while 6 – 7 tables sat without being cleared. When we finally were seated, they took another 5 minutes to come round to take our drinks order. The food(salmon and chips) was decent, but after it was delivered they didn’t bother to come around to check in at all. They didn’t offer any water, and when my beer glass was empty and sat on the edge of the table for 10 minutes, not a single server noticed. But they were damn quick to come once we had finished and try to push dessert. Don’t bother. I’ve had better service at KFC.

I have heard a lot about this place and came over to port orchard for the taste of port orchard. First off it was empty so it was quick seating but took awhile for them to take our order. My mom was visiting from AZ and she watched the cook prep food with gloved hands then touch his phone after. I also saw a little swarm of bugs flying in the eating area. The food was not worth the price and both of the people in my party said they did not like the Mahi Mahi tacos due to lack of flavor. My mom had to douse them in hot sauce and the salsa they had with it. I liked the big chunks of lobster in my lobster roll but don’t think it was worth coming back for.

Good friendly service and the food was very good. One of us had salmon; the other had fish and chips. We were able to sit outside and enjoyed the view.

Awful. I ordered the Cobb salad and the lettuce was slimy and had several brown pieces that the cook«hid» at the bottom. I thought about giving 2 stars because the service was friendly but to serve food that is not fresh but rather needed to be thrown out, is not right. The fact that Port Orchard does not have many choices is most likely the reason anyone comes here, that and the location. I’ll drive elsewhere in future.

So I came here because my parents were in town. They ha come before, but liked it so much they wanted to come back! The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was super fresh. The only thing I was bummed about was the menu itself… I was actually interested in a bunch of the lunch items but it was after hours for that. I have a picky palette and felt limited to what I wanted. Aside from that, their clam chowder soup was AMAZING. So SO so good. I’m normally not a fan of clam chowder, but it was perfect. Will most likely be coming back one day.

We simply gorged ourselves this evening. It was an early Father’s Day dinner and we started off with oysters on the half shell followed by coconut shrimp and a dinner salad. The oysters were to die for and reasonably priced. The only problem I had was fighting over them with my wife… I let her win.(I should have ordered a second serving). They are THEBEST. Amy’s doesn’t do the coconut shrimp very often. But when they do you definitely need to order them with their chilly-lime sauce absolutely fantastic. The Cesar salad was wonderful as good as I’ve had anywhere.

I just recently moved into the area from Ohio so I’m not particularly knowledgeable about what is good/bad seafood, but I can tell you the service was amazing and I was absolutely content with my meal! I would definitely come back again.

You have to try their Manila Steam Clams. Their Southwest Chicken Salad is also Amazing. The customer services was exceptional. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars from me was because their plating needs help, and my cedar plank salmon was not was overcooked and the portion was a lot smaller, and the color od the salmon looks terrible, pale pink. The clams and salad won’t do you wrong. BTW, they have a nice view.

I took my daughter to Amy’s today. She is moving to the East Coast in less than 2 weeks and Amy’s was on her“have to have before I move” stops. As always, I wasn’t disappointed! We had my daughters favorites, crab cakes and fish and chips(cod). Those 2 dishes are consistently outstanding! Our server was attentive, enthusiastic, and did her job very well! I will be back and I know my daughter will make it a must when she comes to visit!

This place is a nice place to sit and have q meal on the water. The service is good but not over the top great, the good was great but portion sizes were a bit small. Over all a good meal but the bill came and for what we had it seemed pretty high. It’s a nice place to take a date every so often –but too high priced for port orchard to go here too regularly/. For that reason I gave it four stars.

We sort of ended up at Amy’s on accident, because somehow BOTH of the BBQ restaurants we tried to stop at were closed. Apparently Northwesterners are not overly fond of barbeque. After walking around the disturbingly empty downtown and seeing nothing but bars offering pub food, we were about to turn around and drive home to Bremerton. Since we were unable to make a U-turn, we pulled into a side street/parking lot, and lo and behold, there was Amy’s on the Bay. Sad to say the patio was closed due to rain, but the host found us a spot at the bar that overlooked the water. Cocktail list was extensive, though it did tend toward overly sweet libations, so I passed and ordered an Irish Death, which they thoughtfully had on tap. YUM! Husband enjoyed his African Amber as well. I had fish and chips which I’ve been talking about for weeks, but had never got around to actually eating. I was not disappointed! The fish was fluffy, the batter was crispy, and it had that buttery quality that good fish and chips always offers. Our waitress mentioned the $ 1 upgrade to garlic fries which I OFCOURSE took. Worth every penny. The fish does not come with the standard tarter sauce, but did come with a creamy dill dip that was tasty both on the fish and the French fries. He ordered the Northwest Seafood bake with ghost chili sauce and really enjoyed that too. I snuck a bite or two and it was definitely tasty. Amy’s on the Bay was a pleasant surprise given their less than stellar Unilocal reviews. There was so much on the menu we wanted to try and if we end up in PO again, we’ll probably be back to experiment with a few appetizers.
