We were visiting friends in Sequim & they talked about how charming Port Townsend is. Very electric DT& fun shops ! We decided on this pizza place for lunch. I loved the basement feel, our waiter(sorry your name has escaped me) was very pleasant & helpful with the menu & portion sizes. There were 4 of us so decided to share a few dishes. Started with the Caesar salad which was yummy, fresh & the perfect amount of anchovy & garlic. Croutons were fresh! Next was a pepperoni pizza & cheesesteak sandwich. Pizza was wood fired perfectly & tasty! Cheesesteak was seasoned well & we added green peppers & onions. Bread was very good, not too doughy, not overly crusty. We didn’t order drinks but beer & wine menu looked great! We will definitely visit again!

Bad to terrible service /understaffed with one server who was totally clueless. Wow! Were the previous posters even in the same restaurant? or, just friends of the owner. First timers to Port Townsand and looking forward to a decent meal and service after an otherwise wonderful day in the city. The pizza may very well be awesome BUT we sat for at least :40 minutes thinking our order would come out any minute. Place was less than 1⁄3rd full. Finally we got the servers attention and asked where our(party of four) order was? This was her first thought that we had not received our food, as everyone else seated around us did. She came back and said«the order never showed up on their computer». Our order hadn’t even started. To me not exactly a POS type of place but ok… we were right in the middle of the room! Plenty of nice places on the main drag. This restaurant is away from others and underground… where it should remain.

We stumbled on this place while visiting Port Townsend. What a delight — the ambiance is awesome. The pizza was heaven and we felt like we had a great place to relax and catch our breath while eating a delicious meal. We had the Steak and Cheese — and it was a quick reminder of a pizza I had in Philly. Can’t wait to come back and have recommended this place to others.

In a town full of tourist traps, this place was an oasis. We walked around downtown trying to find a place that didn’t charge $ 15 for a sandwich or a burger. We did not have much luck whatsoever. Some places were completely shut, others we walked up and read their menu at the door and turned around. This place, while albeit somewhat hidden down a basement stair, was a breath of fresh air. Firstly, the place was wide open and all the Seattle tourists were nowhere to be seen, the waitress immediately asked us to sit wherever, and within a minute we had our beverages, which was a great selection thereof. As soon as we made our decision, the order was taken and not only delivered, but in gigantic portions larger than our heads. I chose the Philly Cheesesteak, because I assumed at those prices, It would be that size of a thimble. but when my family asked about the pizza size, it was a full –sized pie. For that price we expected personal sized 5 inch pizzas. By the way the dough they use is a nice slow rise dough you’ll never find at any chain joint. You would be hard pressed to get a larger pizza or sandwich for a lesser price anywhere in Western Washington, let alone in a town full of tourist traps. I DONOT hand out 5-Star reviews freely. As a matter of fact, getting me to put forth the effort to write a review for any place has to either mean it is exceptionally horrible or exceptionally fabulous. This was the latter by far. Anyway, next time we are up exploring the old forts again, we will surely stop by.

I’m not crazy about underground locations, but this place is comfortable(unless too crowded, which, strangely, is usually not the case) I like a cozy booth. The Caprese pizza is great, tastes fresh and the flavor and crust just right. We shared a salad that was also very tasty. Nice greens and not too much dressing. Server offered to bring two plates for salad and also two glasses so we could share a beer. Didn’t make us feel funny at all. And, get this, she made a mistake on our pizza order, so she and a guy came out to apologize and they gave us the wrong one for free(plain cheese) and then brought out our delicious Caprese. Very good experience on all counts, and we’ll be back soon.

I have lived in Port Townsend for a few years now and every experience I have had at the Tin Brick was excellent. The pizza is BYFAR the cheapest in the area but is also the most tasty! Everything is cooked in an open fire oven and the ingredients are all super fresh! I would recommend the classic, they make their own sausage and mixed with the red onion the flavor is amazing! The wait staff is always super friendly even when they are bogged down with thirst and hungry customers. Be patient the food and the atmosphere are well worth the wait. On any given Sunday you will find the die hard Seahawks fans of Jefferson county drinking away so be prepared for some fun! All in all of you are looking for pizza in the Port Townsend area the Tin brick is your only destination.

Great pizza. Terrible service. Self seating and the wait staff forgets you’re there. 15 mins later, comes over with menu. Meanwhile the group next to us(that was there before us) is still waiting for their order to be taken. Lots of moans and groans tonight. When pizza was ordered and delivered, I had to send my husband down to the bar area to get plates, forks, napkins, etc. I understand if you’re short handed– and the pizza was amazing… But that’s it.

Pizza is good. Coffee is wonderfully strong, but this place doesn’t even carry half n half or cream??? Really? Only milk. Come on guys, have some respect for the Tully’s you’re brewing. Great atmosphere for watching the Seahawks on a cold day!

We reserved a spot for 25 for my sisters rehearsal dinner. The Tin Brick was a great spot right in the middle of town that offered good food for the starving wedding party and close friends the night before the wedding. They were very accommodating and great to work with! I appreciated that the owner came out and introduced himself, thanking me for choosing the Tin Brick. The waitress was a bit overwhelmed with our party but handled it all so well. I appreciated how great the owners and staff were with our large party!

We were looking for a good place to watch the Cougs game and decided to check out The Tin Brick. Good view of the 4 large tvs from most seats in the bar. Friendly and fast service and great food! We had the classic sausage and onions pizza, great crust cooked perfectly in the brick oven. Mmmm! Good selection of interesting beers as well. The garden salad was also fresh and delicious. More of a restaurant vibe than a bar vibe. Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped into this little downstairs gem for lunch. Great experience. I ordered the Classic pizza — homemade sausage, red sauce, cheese. Very good. My wife had the Caprese — garlic, olive oil, cheese, fresh tomato, and a basil chiffonade. Delicious brick oven pizza. The crust was perfect — thin, but flavorful like a good French bread. I wanted some olive oil to dip it into! The Caprese could have used a little more cheese and basil, and the basil was a little blackened. It was heavy on the tomatoes, which made the pizza a bit wet. Flavor was great, though. The Caesar Salad was perfect, and the half salad, suggested by the waiter, was large enough for two to share. The dressing wasn’t too heavy on the garlic, either. The balance of flavor was just right. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. I found the prices a bit high, but they are in keeping with the area. Overall, I recommend The Tin Brick for anyone seeking great quality brick oven pizza in Port Townsend.

On a day ride from Anacortes and wanted a spot to watch the Seahawks game. We found this place on Unilocal(and they had nearby motorcycle parking) so we thought we would give it a try. Excellent pizza and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches(owner is from Philly so they definitely have a leg up!). They had 4TV screens to watch the game. Darts at halftime was a bonus.

The steak and cheese was out of this world! Absolutely loved everything about it. I would add pepper rings but that is all. My sister in law got the pesto pizza which looked, smelled and tasted great. Its a great spot to take in a game and enjoy a meal with friends. Service was attentive and friendly. I’d go back for sure.

Second time at this restaurant and it hit it out of the park both times. We’re from CT, so quality pizza is a big deal for us. Had pepp/sausage/mush/onion pizza the first time here, and it was great. This time the Caprese pizza with fresh tomatoes, garlic, basil and mozz, even better! Owner is from PA, and tells me next time I should try his Philly Cheesesteak. He swears it beats out the ones from back there. Based on the quality of the pizzas, I’m going to check that out next time. Right across the street from the Rose Theater on Taylor street, but below street level. I live in PT and have tried all the pizzas available here; these are the best, and very well-priced, I might add. Lots of good beers on tap and a decent selection of wines.

I came here for the first time tonight. Cool location, below the street. Parking was typical downtown PT parking. I got a philly to go and it was pretty damn good. The atmosphere seemed cool, the beers seemed to be flowing. Open mic night was in full effect! Seems like a good place for a night out.

Though this place doesn’t have frills, the food and service more than supplement with attention to detail in the quality of food. I came here with my family, 7 strong. It was impossible to find another restaurant in Port Townsend that fit us without a reservation. We got 4 pizzas and 2 Philly cheesesteaks, mind you with lots of hungry people. The pizzas were flavorful and the crust was delicious. The cheesesteak though… WOW. Definitely coming back!

Solid cheesesteak — and I’m from Philadelphia. Harry and his team make it right. Nice beer selection too. Would absolutely repeat.
