Is this place still open? We have been there twice in the last two weeks, one weekday at lunch and one weekday at dinner, but have found them closed both times.

Food was barely edible but definitely subpar. Their menu consisted of mostly Americanized Chinese items with a few oddities like udon and ramen. We had their wonton soup, lunch special black pepper beef(which comes with fried rice, a cup of egg flower/hot and sour soup, and an egg roll), chicken with mixed vegetable dinner with white rice. The wonton soup broth was average at best. The wontons themselves were mostly skin. The fillings were tough and dry. Everything in the lunch special were bland including the entrée. The chicken with mixed vegetable came with a lot of white meat chicken and gooey sauce. I found a couple pieces of spoiled onion. The white rice dried out quickly. Service was adequate. The lady was very nice. I really appreciated her courtesy of continuously bringing over extra napkins for me to wipe off the excessive amount of sauce on the chicken and vegetables for my baby. The restaurant was dead slow. We went in around 1pm and were the only patrons during half our meal. One lady came in, had a cup of soup, and enjoyed reading in the library-quiet setting. Another lady came in and ordered take-out. The place itself was very clean.

Right in my ‘hood so I was hoping for good things. Can’t bring myself to award 3 stars. Atmosphere is OK. Service was SLOWWW. We were the only diners in the place so there was really no excuse for this. We ordered a bowl of ramen and a dish of sweet potato noodles. We’ve both become hooked on ramen lately and have now had it at 5PDX restaurants. This was by far the least interesting. The broth was OK at best. The noodles were major meh. Pork OK. Egg rather disgusting. I’ll take their word for these being sweet potato noodles — seemed like plain old rice noodles to me. nothing wrong with the noodle dish, but nothing particularly exciting either. On the plus side, you get a lot for your money. We could have split the($ 9) ramen and had plenty to eat. So we have leftovers in the fridge. I’ll eat them — it’s not bad food, just rather uninspiring. Won’t return.

Very friendly staff, delicious salad rolls and sauce, and an enticing menu with all sorts of good organic Asian yumminess! They have a variety of Thai, Chinese, Korean, and other various Asian cuisines all bundled into one. Great for midday lunch spot!
