Their tacos here are pretty good and pretty cheap as well. Its authentic and not like taco bell down the street. The price is like taco bell but you get real mexican food! Yummy tripes tacos :)

This place is a ripoff. Steak and shrimp is $ 12.50 and they give you FOUR shrimp with a slice of roast beef. Really, it’s that thin. I’ve had the same item at the Beaverton Hillsdale Highway Don Pedro #7 about twenty times and they give you twice as many shrimp, and the price was $ 10.99 last time I was there. I also declined the salad and chips that come with the order but they don’t reduce the price. If you ask for extra tortillas they charge you extra though. I will never visit this place again. The food is good though so they get 2 stars instead of one.

I just went in today I ordered a champurrado(Mexican) hot chocolate and they asked what size I said medium they came to me with a small size and I asked the lady in the drive-thru of this is medium(3) times and she said yes. I paid $ 3.50 if what I got is medium they probably put the small champurrado in salsa cups. Bad customer service.

The food was mediocre at best and left you wanting for more. The service we received inside the restaurant was terrible. If it wasn’t for the love of authentic mexican food, which wasn’t satisfied… we would have got a better experience from Taco Bell.

Great quality of food that is made when ordered. Not that re heat Taco Bell crap that has food like products lol… Not saying I never have it wont eat there. It’s just So much better here! Authentic tasting Mexican food that you can get much quicker than at a sit down restaurant. I hit up there drive thru at least once every two weeks for a spicy pork burrito without rice. They don’t have black beans, but their refried beans are legit. Their orange salsa is terrific! I used to always get the green, but while eating inside one time I branched out & I’m glad I did! It’s not as spicy as others I’ve had & it has a nice creamy consistency that goes great with any dish. You get pickled carrots, radishes & jalapeños with most orders but I haven’t been eating those recently. Fixated on the main dish I guess but the veggies are good too. Only downer is how long you’ll sit in drive thru, especially if there’s a couple cars ahead of you. Was pretty pissed the first time taking 10 – 15 minutes, but it’s all good now that I expect the wait.

awesome variety, good food and friendly service. The only sketch part are the rest of the customers in the area.

Very reasonably priced for lunch, food runs from adequate to excellent. The people working here are not friendly — not exactly unfriendly, but they take your order with a straight face and never crack a smile, which feels really weird in a restaurant. But I still come since it’s reliable and a good value, and I can count on finishing lunch in time.

I’ve been to the 82nd location several times. My first time at the 122nd location. I love the soft corn tortilla tacos. Must say the 82nd location is better.

You know that book cover and judging thing? Well here you go. Simply put, disregard the cover and enjoy this quick and delicious meal. There is more here than you would expect and it is all better than the cover would suggest. mmmmmmm.

Years ago, their Chiles Rellenos were amazing, especially because they made their own Salsa Ranchera sauce, which had chunks of tomatoes, onions, and was very flavorful. I went back today, but was disappointed. They now serve the chiles with something like an enchilada sauce. It was just ordinary-tasting. I don’t think I will go back because this, combined with high prices, makes it unattractive.

4 stars for consistent, well prepared Breakfast burritos for 3.99 ! Choice of bacon, sausage, chorizo or my favorite just eggs, potatoes(hash browns) with a slight char on them and cheese. I’ve ordered over 25 burritos(for work event) and it’s only a 15 min wait. They also are open way early too. 6am(that’s early for Oregonians) I also think they make a pretty tasty enchilada. This location has a drive through ! What they do, they do well.

I’ve been to many different taquerias in Portland, and I like Don Pedro the best for the tastiness of the tacos as well as for good value. Their tacos are all $ 1.30 with your choice of meat. The meat is browned on the flat top grill so it’s not all watery like at some other places. Don Pedro is not fancy at all, but it’s the place to go if you just want to EAT good food.(Makes no sense to go some other place which is allegedly«trendy and hip», wait in a long line to get in, pay at least twice as much, get food that really isn’t that great, and not have a place to sit.)

I think I’m addicted to the carne asada torta. My first trip to Don Pedro’s was 2 weeks ago. I’ve been back twice since. My first visit I got a boring pastor burrito. The pork was gristly and lacked flavor. I’m glad my Don P experience didn’t end there. I decided to grab a torta to go so I would have something to eat later. Best decision ever. The asada was everything the pastor wasn’t. It was juicy, lean and amazing. If you told me carne asada was Spanish for unicorn meat I would believe you. This stuff is too good to have come from some ordinary cow. With a torta, this perfect meat comes gently cradled in delightfully soft bread. The torta experience is made complete by generously applying the orange salsa found in the salsa bar. The salsa isn’t too spicy and the flavor is the perfect complement to the sandwich.

Found out that every branch is independently owned. Every owner creates their own salsa’s recipe. We ordered the«wet burrito», while the meat was consistent, the sauce was not. The red chili sauce for the burrito tasted like it was made with ketchup. We later learned from one of the cooks that they in fact use canned tomato sauce for their red sauce(big no, no!). All of their other sauces were bland and watered down, which is not anything like their sister branch off of Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy. The Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy location is wayyyy more authentic and an excellent choice.

Awesome breakfast!!! This place has great food and really cheap too. Some might think it looks dirty but I have never had a bad meal at this location. They have great lunch and dinner too!

There are pigeons on a billboard next to the restaurant that make noise when you are going through the drive thru. That said, the food is good, not great, Mexican street food. Cheap tacos and burritos, a few other main dishes, and breakfasts. Taqueria food with $ 1.30 tacos that compete with the best authentic tacos in Portland.

It’s ok. The service was ok. The food ok. It’s like Mexican fast food that takes too long:( I won’t make the mistake of going here again.

This review is strictly for the breakfast burritos… and Don Pedro’s excels at the breakfast burrito. Bacon, sausage or ham and then loaded with potatoes and scrambled eggs, wrapped in a huge tortilla and served with any kind of salsa or hotsauce you want. I prefer that reddish/orange hot sauce. It is delish… and just hot enough to still taste the goodness inside the burrito. I think that Don Pedro’s may have changed their potato though and I am a little sad about that. It used to look like it had more potato chunks in it whereas now, it looks more like a big potato lump. I mean, it still tastes good, don’t get me wrong, but sometimes there is just too much potato and I would rather have more egg or sausage. But, that is just me! It is still a kick ass burrito for a great price and at a convenient location with a drive-thru!

For just«dropping in for a visit» with my daughter and son in law, the Must do on the weekend breakfast list was here! (ps I am not really a breakfast person so I got the Relleno’s) Yes it is set up as a «fast food» joint but the food is very good! Yes I would go back if in the area.

This is a favorite Mexican stop for us and lovingly know as the home of the«One Pound Burrito. «We dabbled around the menu but more often than not order the enchilada plate in chicken or mild pork. We usually walk inside and make the order to-go. The enchilada plate is a lot of food for just under $ 8 and my wife always eats half and saves the rest for her next lunch. I have a tendency to just go for it and PIGOUT. Then I’m REALLY full for a long time. Service is always friendly and fast. Although they sometimes do include a little bundle of condiments I recommend that while you are waiting for them to make your order that you go to the condiment bar and help yourself to the radishes and if you like something spicy there are carrots and peppers. Load up some containers of the your favorite salsa and put them in the bag when they give you your order. If I were to have one complaint it would be that there hasn’t been lime wedges at the condiment bar for some time now. Lines have been replaced by lemons. I’m sorry but lemons just don’t cut it, give me my LIMES. Their breakfast burritos are excellent and very filling and highly recommended. Adding to my previous review: I read online just the other day that there is a huge shortage of limes coming from Florida where most of them are grown. Something about disease that some of them got in the head to burn huge portions of the orchards. That is probably why Don Pedros has replaced the yummy yummy limes with lemons. The article said that limes have more than quadrupled in price.
