I have been to many delis to buy sandwiches and have never felt like such an imposition as I did today. The deli person stated several times that I had so much meat that it would take a while, they have to slice per order. I said it was fine but she continued to move as slow as molasses to get everything that I think slicing wasn’t the problem. They ran out of a sauce and she asked if I still wanted it, she’d have to get it from the shelf. It wasn’t what she said but the rolling eyes and tone. I used to work in a grocery store and I get that it’s tiring, thankless and often grueling work dealing with customers but come on, there are way harder jobs than making sandwiches. Put a smile on and act like customer service is your job… By the way 3 sandwiches should not have taken 30 minutes. The process is flawed if this is how long it normally takes!

This is a great location with awesome grocery selection and quality. There is a Fred Meyer Jeweler located inside as well, and almost every time I go to this specific location, there is a male customer in drag(a different one each time)…that’s not really a plus, but does make the trip more entertaining to say the least. I saw some leave poor reviews regarding customer service and such, but when I go to a grocery store, I simply do my shopping, pay and leave… not really looking for high quality customer care… so I have not ever been disappointed by the CS at Fred Meyer. Prices are a bit more than at Winco or cheaper stores, but quality is often better. You can join the Fred Meyer Rewards program which I highly recommend and get discounts on many store items, and earn points to save on fuel at Fred Meyer gas and I believe at many if not all Shell gas stations.

I came in last week and was not impressed with the produce department. Strawberries were covered in mold, carrots were past expiration date.

Terrible customer service in the deli. This guy was on the phone would not acknowledge me. I asked him if register was open. I was ignored. Looked very tired, i ended up leaving this non customer service store where i came last without food.

It’s kind of the diet coke of Freddies. It’s a bit smaller, and to thrive in the smaller space, they’ve cut a few items off the shelves and removed the furniture department and clothing. Or at least I didn’t see furniture, not that I was looking for it. They do still have indoor and outdoor garden. Only planned on taking about 15 minutes or so, as we were already in the parking lot. Just looking for a few loose items. Was going to drop the kiddo off in the play space for that few minutes, more for his own sanity than ours, so we didn’t have to strap him down into the cart. The policy is 2+ of which he’s only 20 months. We didn’t mention his age or try to resist, only there for a few minutes anyways. Seems like the property hasn’t received the latest updates and cleanups many of the other properties have around town. The other locations are much brighter and cleaner and more organized. People on the sales floor still stopped to check in on us. Checker was distant, but still nice enough. Average transaction from an early 20 something likely making at or near minimum wage. I want to give 3.5 stars, but because my complaints are trivial I’ll round up. The place needs a remodel and an upgrade to the lighting that makes the place feel dingy. The parking lot is squishy and the staff seems like they could all use a cup of coffee.

I generally avoid Freddy’s due to multiple bad experiences, but a relative requested a Freddy’s gift card for Christmas so I had to go there. The format is a good idea, one stop shopping; but any savings realized by the convenience is outweighed by the drawbacks. The right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing, and their interest in customer service is completely non-existent. I’m also extremely offended that they have absolutely no qualms about lying to their customers. Repeatedly. I have noticed that at other stores like Target, there is usually no line or a very short one at the customer service desk. At Fred Meyer there is usually only one or two customer service clerks, a huge line, and a very long wait. Then of course, the clerks do not have the authority to resolve problems, so basically you just leave without a resolution. Asking, even politely for them to make things right, will not only get you nowhere, they will also treat you like an idiot and a bother. Once, years ago, I was maced by a clerk. It wasn’t intentional but it was definitely not acceptable. Most recently, I purchased a gift card only to be told that they cannot be used for purchases. Of course they didn’t tell me this until after I paid for them, then they refused to honor their store policy offering 30 day returns with receipt. I inquired about the return less than two minutes after finding out the cards were useless, but they said I would have to contact the corporate office for assistance, and that they don’t have that information, nor were they interested in contacting them for assistance in correcting their error.

I’ve never been to a Fred Meyer– we don’t have them in Texas. But why oh why don’t we have them in Texas? This store is awesome. Their prices are really fair; their cheese, wine, and beer selections are very impressive for a grocery store; their garden center got my patio looking really good for a great price; and their staff are generally really friendly and helpful. The store brand whole wheat pasta is also very tasty(is it just me, or has whole wheat pasta gotten a lot better in the past few years?). I’m still not 100% sure how the rewards points work, but I know we are racking up a lot of them! This is like a smaller, friendlier, cleaner, better-stocked Wal-Mart. It’s the everything store. I deducted one star because I realized a coupon didn’t scan, and it would have saved me about $ 30, so I went back with my receipt. They did the price adjustment with no problem, but first I had to wait for awhile at the customer service desk while five(5) employees had a conversation, and not one of them acknowledged me. That sucked, and hopefully was an isolated incident.

Flipping love this location! I live by the Freddy’s on Barbur, but travel to Beaverton specifically for this store. They have everything and the staff overall is very friendly. Thanks guys and job well done!

Went in to get my watch band adjusted at the Fred Meyer Jewelers, and oh what a nice experience. My watch band was adjusted in 5 minutes at no cost and amazing customer service.

I like the recent remodel. There seems to be a bigger selection of things at this Frederick Meyer general store. There’s a large«organic» section if that’s your kind of thing. The New Seasons down the street probably brought that on. You can deposit your cash at the Chase Bank to use on a diamond ring at Fred Meyer Jewelers after eating some fried chicken.
