Love their beef Burritos. Ordered mild spicy but got medium which wasn’t a big deal. Food is great and you get a fat burrito.

I went with the spicy tofu burrito and it was bomb! They didn’t put the guac on it I asked for, but I’m kinda glad because I was really digging the Asian taste instead of the usual Mexican burritos. Wish I was staying in Portland longer so I could try the tacos too!

I usually, without a doubt, love this place. Last time I was in, it was late, about 2:15AM. I was overcharged for two burritos because the employee thought that he could make more money off of someone who wasn’t sober, which I was. I didn’t make a scene, as I’m not one for confrontation, as I work in the service industry, myself. I’m disappointed, but will definitely return, as the food is spectacular. Also, my order was also made wrong, but whatevs, I can deal.

I love the rice bowls. They come with lots of fresh veggies and protein of choice. Always enough to fill me up.

While waiting for our airbnb host to clean his place up, my friend and I decided to grab a quick bite. Since KOi Fusion was within walking distance AND on my list of «to-go» food trucks, it was the obvious choice. This place did not disappoint! It happened to be Taco Tuesdays(2 tacos for $ 5) and so I decided to try out the bulgogi and the beef steak tacos. Of course, I had to add in all the fixings(kimchi, sour cream, and guacamole?! Yes please!). The meat in both tacos were marinated well and I felt like all the flavors came together nicely. My friend asked for extra spicy for her tacos, but was disappointed when all they did was add a bit of siracha on the top. Nonetheless, we both left feeling content. So began our 2-day food adventures in Portland!!! note: With some reason, there was no seating area set up when we visited. Perhaps it depends on the location of the food truck?

Great service. Some ladies stopped their car to hollar at the server and ask if he was single, apparently they’re his friends. Great combo of sweet, sour and spicy on the bulgogi burrito. I’d go back if I found myself in this wet, wet city.

visiting from texas and drooled when i found out there was a korean food truck close by! we walked over(in the rain, of course) and picked up a few bulgogi tacos and a bulgogi cheesesteak. the tacos were pretty good, but they could stand to have the tortillas doubled up so the ingredients don’t slide through. i asked for spicy kimchi, but i didn’t really feel the heat coming through. the cheesesteak was excellent! it had bright and vibrant red, yellow, and green bell peppers and fresh onions. it was impossible to eat without a fork, but worth the effort. the bulgogi was tender and well seasoned. nice job!

Solid little Korean/fusion taco truck, kind of reminds me of the kogi truck back in Los Angeles. It’s a pretty good place to grab a bite to eat, but the reason I couldn’t give it a higher rating is because of it’s relatively high prices.

Very tender beef! A little too salty on its own, but tastes just right when eaten with the rest of ingredients it is served with. Very nice! Will be back!

Amazing spin! Mixing Korean and Mexican flavors! I usually get the bowl of pork! It’s like a bibimbap in a small plastic container. Fresh chopped cucumbers and diced fresh carrots with pieces of cabbage with sweet pork meat on rice. Portions is enough whether it’s for lunch or for dinner. The tacos are delicious too, look out for their special menu near the timbers stadium. I also a side of nachos with guacamole on the side. The chips that were given are fresh and fried as you order! Scooping up guac with each fresh crunchy chip. The guacamole needed a little bit more salt but sadly to report; there were too many chips and not enough guac to go around! That’s the most disappointing part of my meal; when you are at the last of the chips and you’ve already eaten all of the guacamole. But that’s okay, because I just used the rest of the chips to scoop out the good stuff(my pork bowl)! It’s like a big nacho supreme but with a Korean twist!

Exceptional and unique food combined with surprisingly good service(for a spot on Burnside) makes for a constantly delicious and joyous experience.

KOI Fusion is a great place to explore what beef ought to always be. Their beef is tender, marinated, Korean-style beef, which they will put in all kinds of incarnations, including the Philly cheesesteak. Tables can be found in a tent, with all this nearing light rail. I ordered a taco for a whopping $ 2.75 for one. It came in two minutes with virtually no other customers. Surprisingly, I feel as if I am going to apply my caviar rule that the price here is justified despite the small size due to the high quality. The meat was tender and inescapably Korean. It was a real treat, and I look forward to that cheesesteak at some point. KOI Fusion manages to be all-around great.

been a while since i’ve been to KOi. prices are up slightly, which is understandable. got their short rib burrito($ 8.50). the meat was flavorful, however the overall burrito was just ok. lots of the ingredients are fairly cold inside and creates an interesting contrast. overall, for the price i think i’d enjoy burritos at other places more.

The girl working here was cute and sweet too. More importantly, fast. I ordered the Bulgogi Burger and after two bites, I had to put it down, wipe the tears of happiness out of my eyes, and write this review. It is god damn tasty. I don’t know how to describe it, but I will definitely be back for more.

Koi Fusion, a foodcart located on burnside is a great stop for some cheap, savory and flavorful food. The Korean/Oregon fusion is noticed between every bite of the short ribs I ordered. Chips and salsa, soda and two sliders racked up to 11 bucks which isnt too bad. However my main and only reason this wont be a four star review was simply because for 2.50 I only got about a handful of chips. Doubly so, they messed up my order. I ordered a steak and a short rib slider and all I got was two short rib sliders. The cashier heard me correct my order but made no effort to fix it. My only advice to Koi Fusion is to keep up the savory flavors found in your meats but also dont be afraid to provide better portions and service to customers.

Pretty amazing. Tried the bulgogi beef tacos which were incredible. They had the perfect amount of spicy kick and the flavor was on point. Loved the addition of all the fresh vegetables and cilantro. Also tried the kimchi quesadilla with short rib which was fantastic! Innovative and quality cuisine for a fair price.

Ordered the bulgogi beef burrito with kimchi. My expectations were low. But I was not disappointed with the quality and balance of flavors. The meat was tender and flavorful. Overall great place.

Drunk food heaven. The food truck in NW might just be my new best friend. Open until 3am serving up delicious melt-in-your-mouth Korean burritos and tacos. Anything with the short ribs is going to be epic — all served up by their friendly and chatty staff. Can’t wait to eat here again!

The best thing was the spicy tacos, had a steak and a short rib. Friend I was with loves the steak rice bowl. Slider was okay nothing to jump up and down for. Next time it will be a burrito or the tacos again :)

I really like this place. Sliders-yummy, simple but delicious, get bulgogi steak. Tacos-good, but I like Cruz room more. Burrito-good, but the rice is a little sweet. Cheesesteak-dirty good. Hits the spot on a late night munchie trip.

I had my first taste of Koi Fusion at Seattle’s Mobile Chowdown 4 years ago. I shared a kalbi burrito with a friend and wanted it all to myself! I wish I did because I then found out that they were from Portland. 4 years later I finally make the time to visit my former roommate to do an all day food tour. This was the second place we visited and we were still a little full from Nong’s chicken and rice. We settled on splitting Seoul sliders and Short rib tamales. The sliders come with your choice of meat(we had kalbi), pico de gallo, seasoned cabbage, thousand island and of course, Tillamook cheddar between toasted potato buns. It sounds like there’s so much going on but the flavors went so well together. We had the tamales after we finished the slider, which was topped with daikon kimchi, jalapeño, tomatoes, onions, and cilantro. I thought this had more of a refreshing taste compared to the flavor laden slider. Both were great together as a meal. Although I wish this truck was in Seattle, at least it is only a Bolt Bus away.
