Ordered the chicken & shrimp tempura(which I had to repeat 4x & still got my order wrong). Food took long, got 2 small, greasy pieces of chicken & tempura, asked multiple times for a fork, & food was meh. Mom’s order was wrong too. Definitely won’t be back.

I had a California Roll here. The sushi is made fresh to order, but the roll tasted dry, the rice had no flavor, there was just no taste at all. I would go somewhere else next time.

The teriyaki chicken is delicious! The only problem is that most of it is chewy and fatty. Of course it’s still pretty good for mall food, and probably the only restaurant in the mall that I would eat at again!

I ordered chicken teriyaki, noodles, and vegetables. It was great! Freshly made. Definitely coming back ti this spot.

We have ordered our food at the Beaverton location all the time without any problems. This was the first time at this location and they got the order wrong. Then, instead of fixing it we were just told that we were not charged for it and handed the food. Will not be back.

I hate long ass irrelevant reviews so I’ll cut to it. went here and ordered the noodle and teriyaki chicken, apparently its an extra charge for more chicken so that’s stupid. it gives you enough though. The employees rush you and were a little rude, only one of them bothered to smile. Okay, the noodles were bland, too thick, and had barely any sauce or flavor to it. And on top of that you get like a handful of noodles so. the chicken had a little flavor but was also too boring and not the best I have had. The veggies you get with the meal are meh, I eat them but I don’t go for yakisoba because of the veggies. I had to help myself to some sriracha hot sauce just to enjoy and have flavor to my food. All in all not worth the money, and the large drinks used to be much bigger and refills 25 cents and now smaller and 50 cents so. won’t ever come back their are better choices in the food court and for the smallish portion size you can get a more flavorful and larger quantity for your buck at another teriyaki stop that actually serves real yakisoba. What I got were noodles I can boil and make on my own at home for $ 3.

This place was really not that good but I tried it out of desperation. Among the other typical food venues, I thought Japanese food had standards, but I was wrong. I spent about $ 9 for a small coke and beef teriyaki meal. Despite the appearance, it was basically a lump of spaghetti, a scoop of store bought mass produced salad, and a scoop of beef chunks. It tasted bland and low quality. Even the coke tastes flat. Every bite was torture so I didn’t finish any of it. Don’t eat here. McDonalds is more reliable than this. This is why I hate the mall.

I love this place! Their chicken teriyaki is really really good! This is the only place I would eat at the mall. I wish they had. Big restaurant of their own.

The menu is very limited but that allows them to focus on what they make. For the price, the food is very good and there’s a reason they always have a line.

Chicken teriyaki was pretty good. Great serving size for the money. Service was super slow(9 minutes waiting for the 2 orders of chicken teriyaki with one order in front of me) and the cashier was rude to the sample girl. We have a better sarku Japan in Seattle.

There is no way I’d ever order sushi topped with raw fish from a food court, but I did it on last week’s trip to Lloyd Center. There’s only one food that makes me homesick for Hawaii and that is raw fish in all its delicious forms: poke, sashimi, ceviche, oka, and on sushi. It was actually decent(c’mon, its a food court, not a Japanese tea house) and the salmon was fresh. The rice was okay but I won’t complain since we Asians can be rice snobs. As much as I enjoyed the salmon sushi I would advise Sarku to work(much) harder on presentation. It’s important for fish to look like it is as pristine and as fresh and cold as possible before serving.

I’m generally wary of food court offerings, but this place has awesome chicken teriyaki. There is a reason there is always a line of salivating customers in front. They prepare the food while you wait(so you are guaranteed it is fresh and hot) and exactly how you like it. Fast, friendly staff. Good prices. Yum.

Sarku is my option if I had to eat at Lloyd Center Mall food court. It’s the only place that make their food fresh(in front of you even). I always order the Chicken Teriyaki bowl for $ 4.99. It’s standard Chicken Teriyaki bowl, steamed rice, grilled chicken, and vegetables. The thing that make Sarku special is the Teriyaki sauce. It was sweet enough, but it’s not overly sweet. Ask for extra sauce on top of your chicken and you are all set.

I purchased a california roll there today, and the cucumber was GRAY. Not a little gray. Dark gray. When I returned it, the lady behind the counter took it from me, gave me another that was fresher, and then PUTTHEGRAYONEBACKINTHECASEFORSALE. Yuck! I tried to tell her it was bad, but she didn’t understand what I was saying. Maybe the teriyaki is good, but the sushi was gross! I’ve had it before and it’s been OK, but today it was inedible.

Most people go to Sarku for their chicken terriyaki. Sarku is a healthier option in the food court. They list the calories of all of their dishes on their menu which is a big plus in my book. Sarku grills their terrikayi dishes and vegetables to-order. One tip is that you can ask for extra terriyaki sauce on your plate if you request it. Sarku typically serves their chicken terriyaki with white rice or fried rice, but the thing that I like most about Sarku is that they will customize your order. For example, I like to get the chicken terriyaki with double meat(an extra dollar for double meat) and no rice. They will give you extra portion of their cabbage-based vegetables if you order it this way. If you are wanting to taste their terriyaki before buying, they almost always have a person giving out free samples in the food court.
