Smart Copy

Affordable office supplies downtown. The simple Manila folders that I needed were $ 8 for a pack of 21 at the FedEx store but were only 25 cents each here.

I’ve never enjoyed a copy store more! As much as they can be enjoyed anyway. I’ve been here several times and always had plenty of help from the employees. They even stayed open late to help me out once. I love that it’s a complete hole in the wall and definitely the cheapest copy store around. I’ve recommended Smart Copy to several people.

It’s always unfortunate when students are forced to deal with a specific business to get something mandatory for classes. If I have a bad experience with the book store, I can try another one, or find what I need on the Internet, but when I have to get a specific coursepack, I have to go to Smart Copy.
I had to purchase a coursepack that turned out to be extremely expensive. I bought it anyway, figuring I had no choice. However, several students complained and our professor removed something from the pack that caused the price to go down significantly. Less than two hours after my purchase, I tried to swap the untouched, expensive coursepack for the smaller one, and the management would not budge. Because they printed them out for us, they claimed, there was nothing they could do, and those of us who got our purchases taken care of right away were screwed. These packs had already been printed and were sitting on the counter — they were not printed special for us. When asked what they would have done with those leftover copies after our professor made the change, they would not provide a straight answer.
The fault of this situation certainly does not lie wholly with Smart Copy — my professor should have been aware of the costliness and worked this out before students bought the coursepack (though obviously Smart Copy didn’t tell him how much it would be for us). However, their customer service most definitely leaves something to be desired, and I will certainly not be taking my business here as an individual.

How the hell can I be the first person to review this place!!! Every time I walk by, it’s packed full of PSU student printing reports and the like.
My project team needed to print our final report and the university print quota system is one of the dumbest things on the planet. We went to Smart Copy and it was a little more expensive, but it was infinitely more convenient than refilling my print quota, printing half my report on a color copier and half on a black and white printer.
They print it all on one state of the art printing unit and count the color vs. b/​w pages and charge you accordingly. Kinko’s would never do that for you!
If you are a PSU student, need a report printed, they will hook you up!
