Stumbled into this place almost literally. Barlow was closed down for about a week, so after trying The Old Gold(not recommended) I found the L & F which is right across the street. It’s easy to miss. It’s a nice space. Small bar up front and 7 free standing tables with a long seating bench in back with tables. The outside seating has picnic tables is great for groups and you can bring your dog. I prefer the bar myself. Used to be a flower shop and sports a big garage door deal which opens up magnificently. Bartenders know their stuff. They have a quite a few signature drinks and the best Dark & Stormy in well, dare I say it? Yes, in the whole Shitty I mean City. The only thing I will say about the food is Quesadilla. They have a little press that puts them together. Pulled Pork, Vegan, Chicken, Steak etc. Sorry no burger and fries. If you are looking for a place to lay low and have a few stiff ones this can be your next watering hole. Cheers and good times.

The atmosphere is very casual and mellow and service is friendly which I appreciate. However, it was hard to enjoy myself here because the cocktails were not very good. The beer list wasn’t great either which is why I opted for a drink in the first place. Concerning the drink I ordered, it was as if the bartender used well liquor and just did not come together as described. It became extremely watery, quickly(heavy on the ice). I may return for the patio seating.

Absolutely love this bar! It’s small, but has great energy! There’s a few tables and a good stack of games! The bartender was very friendly, quick, and helpful. Definetely my favorite bar in the neighborhood!

Went in to grab a few drinks with some friends. When we first got there, we all loved the laid-back atmosphere, and they were playing all the right music. But then everything started to change. I went up and ordered my second drink of the night, a simple vodka/soda. The bartender poured the weakest drink i’ve ever seen. It was a 2-second pour at best. She tilted the bottle upside down and immediately turned it back upright. Barely coating the ice. Insulting. She then added the soda, added MORE ice, and then more soda. I understand why someone may have done that with OLCC’s strict VIP rules, but it was my second drink of the night, and I had started a tab, so it wasn’t as if I had stiffed her on a tip. My friends all decided to get beer after that. I wanted to say something, but wasn’t sure what the rules are. It’s not my business to tell her how to pour a drink. But we definitely will not be returning there. If you’re looking for a quality drink, this isn’t the place.

I came here yesterday for the first time with a friend and absolutely loved it. It’s her favorite neighborhood bar. She enticed me with the words«they have vegan cheese» and sold me with«killer margaritas». There is a lot of outdoor seating which is always a plus when you have a furry companion. My margarita(never salted) was delicious and light and tart my vegan quesadilla was good as well, and the music was on point. The service was really good as well. Only one guy working but we still got plenty of attention. Most definitely coming back to play some pinball!

My faaaaaaavorite bar. They won me over with their Golden Girl drinks. Seriously? So good. Bartenders are always nice, and the people who frequent it aren’t annoying or obnoxious.

Currently my favorite bar in North Portland, and I live in North Portland, which makes it my favorite bar. The depth of the concept is really something to behold. It reminds me of my favorite 90’s café, but with better drinks. It has style but it’s not expensive and overwrought. Fresh but not uppity. Drinks and snacks are reasonably priced. Pinball for $.50! They have a partially covered patio. Staff is friendly. Patrons are cool. When we were there last night they were playing 90’s hip-hop. I can’t remember the last time I heard Gang Starr in a bar. I might never drink anywhere else. NOTE: Regarding the 1 Star reviews with complaints about the food. This is a bar, not a restaurant. They serve food presumably because bars in Portland are obligated by law to do so. I think if you right-size your expectations, you will not be disappointed.

Had an awesome time at L&F ‘s 2 yr. Anniversary Party from the music from DJII Trill to the chicken nachos and the booze pops!- then on to a mean game of Cards against Humanity, fun was had by all! Can’t wait to go back.

We were staying in the area last summer & were excited to check out this cute outdoor patio that we saw from Killigsworth, but as soon as we walked in there were people smoking on the patio which was a no-go for us. The inside area was fairly soulless and was completely deserted. Instead we went to one of the neighboring bars that has a non-smoking outdoor patio, which we really enjoyed. Will try The Lost & Found again this summer to see if they’ve banned smoking on their patio and added a little spice to their interior.

I’ve been here several times and the service is always fantastic. The bartenders are really nice and will take care of you. They have a TV so you can watch the Blazers/Timbers if you want. They always have some great music(mixing between punk, The Cure, and Wolfgang Stockmeier among others tonight). They only have 4 taps, but they are usually interesting. Tonight is Pfriem Belgian IPA… Very good. Also a small but fun bottle selection. Usually something gluten free if you need it. The food is limited, but really, they’re all about that beer(and cocktails). They also have a large patio on nice days. My impetus for this review, though, is Wi-Fi. They has it! And outlets! And I can drink and work. Most of the times I’ve come, there are only a few patrons, so seating is optimal. And there’s pinball when I need a break. I encourage people to come, but not so many that I don’t have a spot while my wife takes a knitting class. If the food was better or the beer selection greater, this would be a 5 star review. I’ve always been happy with my experiences here.

Update time! After our less-than-stellar outing last time, the owner contacted me directly and offered a gift certificate. I declined the certificate — though the boy got one — but was pleased he reached out in a nice, polite manner so we gave it another go. MUCH better! We tried the quesadilla again and it had about twice the meat from the last time and was just overall much, much better. Service was also better — it was busy and only one bartender but he was super nice and chatting with everyone while churning out the cocktails. Now that my main gripes about this place are a distanct memory, I’ll happily come back!

First, the music. During our visit they played music from Moulin Rouge, Boys II Men, Salt N Pepa, and K-Ci & JoJo… songs that I wouldn’t necessarily play at home, but really don’t mind hearing every once in a while for nostalgic purposes. They have a good selection of beer. I tried the Ashland Amber and the bartender warned us that they come in small cans. We said that was fine and when we got them we commented how they were of normal 12 oz. size. The bartender said that some people are surprised that they aren’t tallboys. So I guess you could say it’s kinda hipster-ish? They have a very nice patio area, but my only complaint is that it’s not a non-smoking patio. I know people like to have a cig with their beer, so I didn’t hold it against the L&F, but second hand smoke in your eyes can really ruin the mood for me. Either way, this is one of my new favorite spots!

Met some old friends and coworkers here for a happy hour get together and it was great! I’m one of those chronically early people and when I arrived, I was the only one in the entire place. The bartender was friendly and fun, we chatted and she made me this awesome Pear martini type drink that was fruity, not overly sweet and powerful! Once my friends arrived, I switched over to bourbon and gingers, also good, and I appreciated the limes, some bartenders leave this out. Later on, we ordered food, my chicken quesadilla was fab, served with a nice green salsa and my friend’s frito pie looked very inviting. We had a blast, it wasn’t too crowded, though things seem to pick up later in the evening here. Lost and Found has fun décor, great punk/alternative background music and is in a very nice, up and coming part of North Portland. You’d do well to stop by for happy hour here!

Much better the second time go ’round. After getting a nice follow up from the owner with a «give us another try» gift certificate, we decided we would do just that. The male bartender was extremely nice and cheerful taking our orders despite the fact there was quite a few people waiting for drinks. He made them all efficiently while keeping up steady chitchat with everyone. We also decide to try to quesadilla again to see if that had changed… Yup! What we got was in fact, a quesadilla filled thick as thieves with the delectable pork and creamy cheese. We’d ordered it sans the green chiles, which were thoughtully put on the side for my girlfriend to use along with a generous portion of sour cream/salsa. In addition, the music selection was fun and the patio is great. So is the inside if you want something a lil’ cooler on a GD super hot day! I’m glad this place has an owner who responds so great to not-so-great reviews(that are well intentioned!). And we will be back.

This is just what the neighborhood needed! They have hard cider and some interesting specialty cocktails. The real star is their patio. My favorite place to hang on a beautiful day. They are still their first year so not typically crowded. Bravo Lost and Found!

Great new bar in the Overlook/Interstate Neighborhood. Friendly Bartender. There were no customers yet, as I think their crowd my start late — - Menu features cocktails with some creative titles and mixtures. Knocked back a couple Tecate Tall Boys. Patio was roomy and waiting for patrons. How about a Booze Sicle — -? Well, they’re for real. We were curious to get a little info. on ‘em and the bartender just handed us one. What a nice touch, not only was it delicious. But no charge! I will remember that. It was a delicate mixture of vodka and juice. Well made. Some sort of Guava concoction. Attended a Unilocal event here. My first One! The staff was on top of it, handled the flux off customers with a great attitude. I didn’t get to nosh, as I was involved in conversations with new friends. My Moscow Mule was a nice drink — went down way too easy. They offer unique happy hours, too and trivia night.

Great drinks. Hidden location. Ample parking a few blocks away in the residential. Friendly servers. Not inflated drink prices. Board games and great wall decorations. Yummy quesadillas. For real. Moscow Mule… do it.
