Love their fro-yo and they have a great selection of toppings, but like every other time I go in there, they’re out of chocolate. Chocolate.

Somehow this is my favorite froyo place in portland, the fruit is always fresh, the staff is always super nice, and they typically have Taro root froyo(Try it, trust me) People seem to like to complain over the lack of sampler cups, but you have to understand that this is Lloyd Center, if it’s not gang bangers harassing these poor women for a date it’s homeless people trying to suck up as much as they can from a sample cup, or street kids or whatever, there’s every kind of piece of shit tweaked out lowlife at that mall. They do the best they can without being taken advantage of, and considering the clientele of the mall, they do a really good job and provide a fantastic product.

For frozen yogurt, I’m not very impressed. Three machines were out of service and the place didn’t offer a good variety of flavors. Most decent yogurt shops offer fruit flavors along with the standard chocolate and vanilla. There were none of the latter offered. It seemed like the management decided to only offer obscure fruit flavors. As for the toppings, they were out of at least 10. However on a side note the place was clean. Overall I would recommend finding another frozen yogurt place.

This is a good froyo place but I’m not really impressed. Two machines(4 flavors) were out of service when I was there, after checking with the gal who works there, one of them finally started working again. I liked the taro and pistachio flavors; they have a nonfat vanilla(if I remembered correctly) flavor that is sweetened with stevia, it tasted alright but hey, 0g of fat & sugar why not! Topping selection is good, but like I said, it’s good but nothing extraordinary, just a regular froyo place.

This is actually a pretty decent self-serve frozen yogurt place. It was clean, bright, and offered a wide selection of yogurt flavors and the now-standard 3 types of buffet-style toppings(mochi/gummy, candy, and fruit). You grab a cup, half fill it with yogurt, then cruise down the buffet dumping lots of mix-ins reminiscent of a self-serve Coldstone Creamery. Then you place it on the scale next to the cash register to survey the damage to your wallet based on the tonnage. Tip for parents — I recommend ‘coaching’ your kids as they will otherwise pillage your bank account and give themselves a belly ache. The kids and I really liked the coach in front of the big screen TV. It almost felt like a sin since eating ice cream on a leather coach is something we would never do at home. My only request would be to add a dairy-free option like some of the other yogurt places have. Even though soy is bad for guys, it is still better than not being able to participate in the festivities, but a coconut milk option would be wonderful. Fun place!
