Second time giving them a chance, only reason why was because we had a gift card. Would have rather gave the gift card away then eat there, food is terrible, no flavor at all definitely wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

Love Giacomos. Always get the order right and it tastes great. Pizza isn’t soggy or too thin, and we love their pasta dishes. Spaghetti and meatballs and great and a huge multi-person serving. We usually pick up as they get slammed for deliveries. The sit down restaurants aren’t super comfy.

Mediocre pizza at best. Better choices for a great slice or pie: La Luna, DD’s, A Touch of Naples, Goodfellas, Nonna’s…the list goes on

This place is just a okay… nothing but mediocre pizzas and other stuff. Regular new york style cheese pizza was acceptable. But a square shaped pizza was too thick for me and it got really hard once the pizza got cold. I think domino pizza or Papa John would have been a better choice. I wouldn’t really order from them again.

Depends on what you get. Grandma and crostini pies are good. The quality and personality also depends on the location. Buildout of each restaurant has cheep finishes and feel and leads me to question the quality of what I eat.

Nice hidden gem in Poughkeepsie for a decent pizza and quick family lunch. Customer service was great too.

I have eaten at all the Giacomos in Dutchess County and this one is by far the most consistent. I always get the Rio Rancho Pizza and a calzone — it’s always better to eat it right when it comes out of the oven. The dining room is nice — they just redid it a few years back. The staff is always so nice and friendly. The only thing I would change is I hate that whenever my family and I order wings they come out after the pizza. Other than that this place is the best to get pizza from in the Hudson Valley

Giacomo’s is great! The food here is fantastic and the staff working there are very nice — I love the little place it’s at which gives it a great atmosphere — I went to high school with all the delivery boys which is always amusing but I’m always happy with my food.

The food here was good. It tasted fresh. I wasn’t in love with the sauce for the eggplant and knots but my kids liked it. The wings were crunchy. There is plenty of seating inside. During this shift, weekday 2pm, the service is only two boys behind the counter. So we weren’t asked about drinks or given Parmesan cheese. Although we sat down we had to go up to the counter to order and ask for a cup for a drink. The pricing was totally reasonable.

The prices posted on their takeout menus and on their website are different than what they actually charge. I ordered a pizza advertised as $ 15.50 and they tried to charge me $ 18.75. I think their pizza is the best in the area, but that price is absolutely ridiculous.

I wish it would allow me to leave feedback without leaving any stars. I found out today what type of people the owners are. To sum them up in 1 word, it would be «DISGUSTING». How they handle their so called«customer service» is a joke. Not only did they screw the order up, charge for someone else’s order, they blamed us as the customer. I will do whatever it takes to get the word out on how horrible they are. I cannot speak for any of the other locations, just the one on Spackenkill road. Not only will I never order from them again, I’ll make sure my whole family and all my friends don’t either. I also be submitting a complaint with the BBB. I can only hope that others will not have to experience the same lack of class from ownership.

Rubbery pasta. Not authentic A La Vodka sauce… disappointed… and who delivers to a hotel without napkins and silverware!

One of the best pizzas around. Get one of their specialty square pies and you won’t be disappointed. Consistently get the margarita and it is fantastic.

Pizza is not as good at this location as it is at the Marshall’s plaza location. Ordered chicken parm and the chicken was like rubber. Stick to the pizza and go to the other location. Time for a new chef at the Spack location.

Our entire team ordered food for the 2 hour bus ride home from Poughkeepsie. I’m sure my food would have been good, it sure smells good, but since I ordered the baked ziti and you didn’t include any utensils, I’ll never know! FAIL!!!

Coming from California my husband and I wanted to try authentic style pizza from New York. So a friend recommended Giacomo’s. We ordered pizza from here and it was great! The pizza was delicious! We also had dessert which was just as great! I’m glad we tried them.

This place is our go to place for pizza, especially the Sicilian. I enjoy the gourmet slices and their cheese pizza equally. Friendly service — I even forgot my wallet one time and they put my bill on the bulletin board and told me to pay next time I was there. That just shows how often we visit this establishment !

LOVE this place! The food, the service, just everything is amazing. Their thin sliced grandma style pizza is top notch! It has to be in the top 5 best pizzas I have ever ate. The wings are small, but they make up for it in taste. They subs are okay. Chicken roll is a must. If you want to go a little healthier, they have that too. The wraps are delicious. The salads however could taste a little fresher. No Italian dressing?! What?! But don’t worry their house dressing taste even better. Overall great to place to order from.

My husband and I love this place! This is our local joint and we’re usually here at least twice a month. The staff is friendly and always knows our order. The grandma slice is my favorite(I wish I knew the secrets to the sauce!) Considering we usually just order slices and salad, everyone is still super friendly! My husband knows the owner and he’s even treated us to dinner, which was very nice of him. We spent time just talking to him and sharing stories about Italy and travel. This is a family place and some days you can see tables with lots of kids! We once had a hit and run in the parking lot, and the staff was so gracious that they actually called the person who was a regular customer to see if it may have been their car. It was and saved us a huge deductible! We always leave this place super satisfied and ready to come back. A grandma slice from Giacomos is the first thing we crave after coming back from a long trip out of the country and always a weekend go to on the way to getting errands done.

I seriously think this is the best pizza I’ve ever had anywhere. I think they put crack in it. Fresh ingredients, non greasy good quality cheese, flavourful and reasonably priced. I haven’t had their entrees but the calzones and pinwheels are stuffed with goodness, nicely garlicky, rich and fresh tomato flavours are a standout in the margherita sauces. Fresh perfect salads. I feel like I’ve used the word«fresh» in here a lot but it’s deserved, there’s none of the greasy, sad, droopy, tired pizza which you see in so many other places, everything is hot and fresh and crisp. The locations I’ve been to are good for a pizza joint, Spackenkill has comfortable booths and a decent attempt to be more of a restaurant, Marist location is smaller and more pizza-placey, still an easy place to sit down for a half hour and watch the game while noshing. This is the go-to place for a slice in P-town. Two complaints which don’t take away from the place enough to lose a star, one is the mostly indifferent staff at every location — it’s a pizza place staffed by mostly college kids who aren’t there as a career choice, just to bridge the gap between student loans and birthday checks from mom and dad, so that’s fine, the other is that their website has been beaten to death with the ugly stick, it’s AWFUL. Eat here once, you’ll go back and back and back.
