Next time you visit, try one of the specials. I’ve had a sandwich and soup. Both were very good. Steer clear of the Buffalo Wings though.

Depends on the pizza you get. I’ve been to all the locations and the one by Marist is the only one with nice staff.

Pizza: Not very good. Soggy«crust», undercooked, poorly made.

3.5* Pretty good pizza. The toppings are pretty good! Though, I recommend against the green peppers. Pieces are too big and don’t really crisp up in the oven, but turn soggy and make the pizza crust soggy. The cheese is kinda soggy too. But, the quality of the ingredients is good, and the size and crust is quite good. But still, I’m from Chicago, and I’ve had much better for the money.

Hitting up the hometown, my sister and I were starrrrving. The nearby fast-food chains elicited mental vomit and there wasn’t a decent looking restaurant nearby that would offer quick enough service for us to be on our way. But there we saw the sign for Giacomo’s. I’ve probably passed this place hundreds of times and somehow never found the time to go in. But in we went. We were both expecting the regular pizza establishment… you know, bad lighting, cheap chairs, sweaty dude in the back making round greasy cheese pizza pies. Surprise, surprise from the moment we walked in. Gourmet pizzas — ah my favorite kinds! Like the ones with REAL mozzarella and fresh(enough) basil, and thin but crispy but not tough crusts. mmm. Sicilian slices? de-lect-table. And that was just the pizza! The place itself was great — clean and nice tables and booths, a flat screen tv(and entertainment system) in the back, a wine cooler to the side, and best of all, real live Italian-speak! In Po-town New York, I felt like I was in a real old-school Italian Pizza establishment. One that would make the founders of old-school-pizza, proud. Si rende orgogliosi Giacomos. si rende orgogliosi.
