Subject: DONOTGOTOTHISLOCATION I had an appointment to get a hitch in my car. Traveling from 25 miles away, got held up for construction on 84 and was 10 minutes delayed. I called for courtesy and«Peggy» tole me, very rude, that no go, as there are appointments back to back and I have to reschedule. It was probably the most rude person I ever spoke to in customer service. Never-the-less I said I was half way there and if she could work it in. I understand it was my problem, so even a «sorry we can try but probably not going to happen» would have helped. The answer was«Not going to happen today — reschedule»…I wanted a refund and she said someone else will call back. She may be having a bad day, but we all need to leave that behind as we get in through the front door of our work place. The interesting thing was that when I called the 800 u-haul number they told me no problems at the location — they can reschedule for any time today as there are several free slots! Apparently someone will call me back from there as they cannot refund the $ 50 they held… so there goes my work day… traveling back and forth 20 miles

Unbelievably bad experience– had confirmation for hitch install, dropped off car and had lunch, noticed car had not moved in 45 minutes, so I get a ride back to work. I get a call another 45 minutes later to tell me wrong hitch, I call not happy, talk to a women who puts me on a customer service line for another 10minutes before I hang up in frustration. I’m ordering a hitch and I’m gonna install myself, saving myself the hassle in trying to do this all over again and saving money to boot. Update: Bought hitch from and received hitch the next day + saved 10% tax and install costs — SUCKIT U-haul!!!
