Great drinks, great music, great atmosphere. But it’s cash only –_– and our service was questionable. My buddy and I came in and immediately asked for drink specials. The bartender told us 2 for 1 drafts. My buddy and I said«sweet!» I asked for a Dos Equis, and my buddy got Kilt Lifter. She said it would be $ 9 cash only and walked away. I called her to come back 2x but she didn’t hear me. My buddy and I had $ 8 and we knew there was an ATM but we wanted to know why the beer costs $ 9. When she came back we asked and she said that we were getting 4 beers, both of us getting 2 for 1s. I explained that I wanted one, and my friend wanted one. She said«We don’t do that here, but I’ll do it for you today». Instead of talking with us about it she took the $ 5 bill and stormed off. We both had this facial expression that said«what the heck just happened?». We actually felt bad and thought that we did something wrong. We never even knew she was coming back with change. She caught us off guard when she threw two quarters on our table. I usually still tip when I receive bad service, but slamming the change on our table and storming off a second time put me in a bad mood… Lady, we came for beer, not your BS.

One big grouping of antique shops, boutiques, and bars!!! Get that small town feel just an hour and a half from Phoenix. Btw 10 degrees cooler! I’m a big fan of some antiquing during the day– loving the quality of pottery, mid century modern, and jewelry. Many great custom jewelers and galleries in the whiskey row area. I know they have a ton of events from a bluegrass festival, rodeo week, and a Veterans Day parade nearby.

Small town feel with a lot of fun! If you are in the mood for this, you will not go wrong at all. Just sit back, relax, and take in all you can. Enjoy listening to someone play the piano while you eat, or if you play, jump on in!

Bars are leaving and while the palace is still there, it’s losing its taste for country and cowboy atmosphere, still a great place to visit for New Years boot drop or July 4th celebrations, not sure how doc holiday and Wyatt Earp would handle all this change

So much fun to be had here! We love hitting every bar for a drink. They have drink specials, even on weekends, and the people are a lot of fun. Our particular fave is the Whiskey Row Pub. My husband got stung by a bee in the hand at another bar and the Whiskey Row Pub bartenders took care of him. Awesome folks there. All of the bars are worth a visit. Such a nice way to spend a Saturday evening.

I will never come back to this bar. Bruce the owner or manager not sure which, is spineless and has very poor customer service. I was with a group of 6 and spent most of the day(4th of July) in the bar, we had tickets for the rodeo and before leaving asked about using the chips(buy one get one) after the rodeo and was told yes. Upon returning from the rodeo we were told there would be a cover charge… and after explaining we still had chips and was told we could use them they declined our business. So again Bruce, I know my lack of business won’t hurt you, but I will let everyone know what kind of businessman you aren’t !!! And by the way you may want to inform your security staff of AZ Bar laws and regulations because I can assure you that I will ruin them.

My friend has a house up in the mountains above town — it’s quite a hike to make it down to the main plaza, and because we were limited in time, she choose Whisky Row as the place to bring us with only 2 hours to wander around. Loved the combination of souvenir shops, funky bars, quirky souvenir shops and people-watching. The street has done a terrific job of maintaining its«personality.» We got lucky and got great parking, but come early if there is an event going on.

Whiskey Row in Prescott Arizona borders the County Courthouse Square and has some bars and hotels and s general festive atmosphere but also nice restaurants, antique shops, and curio and souvenir emporiums. The courthouse square is small but fun to explore and there are frequent festivals and happenings.

This place was so much fun! I liked seeing the old fashioned casino gear. Some stuff from the early 1900’s. The little shops made for a fun afternoon but go before 5 since that’s when everything seems to close

About half a dozen watering holes that i noticed, but several more were scattered about town and I’m not sure those are considered official Whiskey Row bars(a sign points to only certain bars). On the official stretch there was a pretty young crowd milling about and smoking away outside. One bar had a balcony, another had an older crowd, one was in a hotel up a long flight of stairs and also spotted one greasy spoon for late night munching. one bar that had more grey hairs. Alot of these reviews are pre-fire and it appears that the number of bars have decreased. There may have been other businesses on this stretch, but it was dark and they were closed. I would recommend the spice shop though and the Meadery just up the block from Whiskey Row. A few cops roaming around, so if you have to drive back to your hotel make sure you time things right.

This place just relaxes me, and it a throw back to time. If I could walk out the door today and live up there full time, I would be a ghost! Good by city, and good by heat, look out fresh air and trees because here I come.

Passing through town on a Tuesday night and they had a band in the park next to the courthouse playing jazz. Tons of people out listening to them and having a great time. We had our son with us so we did not go in any of the many bars that Whiskey Row is famous for, but it was still a lot of fun window shopping the art galleries and candy shop. If you have the opportunity. Go see it. It’s awesome!

To be honest, everyone talks so much hype about this place and its not allll that great. If I didn’t go with the people I went with I’d be pretty bored out of my mind. There are a couple club type bars here that are hidden and those were fun and I’m not a club type person. You have a mixed cultivation of individuals throughout this town. Either a really old population or really young population especially since people always come up from Scottsdale and or Embry Riddle.

This is a cool historic place to check out. The cowboy bars looked really fun as I peered in from the outside pushing my baby stroller remembering my younger days…

You get it all on whiskey row… live music killer happy hour and non happy hour prices, strong drinks and friendly staff everywhere. hope from one bar to the next and back again music for every taste country to rock and something in between. And at the end of the night stumble to your room at St Michaels hotel.

Whiskey Row is a fun stop if you are up in Prescott. It’s located on Montezuma, one of the four streets that border the Court House area. About a year ago, there was a terrible fire and most of the turn of the last century buildings burned down. History tells us the same thing happened 110 years ago. Well, Whiskey Row is back and a better than ever. The street is now made up of Art galleries and yes — saloons and biker bars. But since we were up here for the 10th Annual«Whiskey Off-Road Bike Race, it was a different sort of biker. LOL Enjoy!

A bunch of my friends and I just went there this past weekend to celebrate my birthday and we had a BLAST! We started the night at the Prescott Brewing Co. with dinner and drinks. Definitely did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their appetizers and dinners and we all left with full bellies, not to mention an excellent buzz, to enjoy the night out on the Row! Despite the large crew, our service was great and the girl did a good job getting everyone’s order right. First was the Irish bar then on to Lilly’s with the patio… both of which were crowded but not uncomfortably so. The eleven of us didn’t have to feel alienated from each other all night and we all had a great time. After those two places, we headed further down the row and encountered a few bars we didn’t want to pay to drink at, so we walked back to the main drag and ended up at Scottie’s to round out the night. One word… KARAOKE! Most awesome birthday celebration to date! I love Whiskey Row!
