I get delivery quite often to my apartment in downtown Princeton. I normally only order when parking is free and available out front of my apartment. Not only do the drivers never pay attention to my instructions to park, but they also tend to have a terrible attitude once they arrive. Style filters down and we can now make an educated guess to how the people that train these employees act towards customers…

BECAREFULWITHTHISPLACE !! They will charge extra on delivery charge. When I placed my order from their website, it listed only $ 1.25 for the delivery fee, it was $ 1.25 even on my confirmation email. When I got my bill, they charged $ 3 instead. I don’t want to call and fight over $ 1.75 difference, I will just not go there again.

DONOTEATHERE. After a long day of work and little sleep I thought I was going to sit down to some simple fried rice. I didn’t ask or pay for a side of extra bug but lo and behold here is it. Lost my appetite completely and will not be coming back.

Delicious boneless spare ribs… Spicy shrimp roll… pan fried dumplings, And other items. Not a fan of the chicken with broccoli or the shumai but the restaurants biggest down fall is their delivery time usually they take 30−50min and I’m only 7min away from the restaurant. If your looking for a place to eat the restaurant has 2 chairs and a tiny table def not a eat in place.

Was trying to place an order, guy in the phone was giving attitude and yelling. I cancelled my order– won’t be ordering from here. Message to owner– cool down the attitude, we are customers after all.

I came here one evening because it was the only place still open around 10 pm. This little hole in a wall doesn’t look too attractive on the outside. It looks rather unsightly on the inside too: a few chairs, barely any walking space, and a counter/register. My expectations were not too high when I ordered. Ordered two combo bento boxes, and the price came out to be around $ 36. The sushi and rolls were actually pretty tasty, but I felt that it was overpriced for the amount of sushi/rolls given.

One star because that is the minimum. If i can give us negative, I will. The WORST service I have had in the whole world. You can not image how bad their attitudes were. We ordered something and the delivered. But one person’s box was missing. When we call back to confirm, they yell at me on the phone and keeping saying that«No. You did not order that.» «Are you sure it is not taken by someone else?» … For like 5 mins without confirming this. After a few minute’s yelling and shouting and screaming, and criticising us. They finally confirmed and admitted that they did not do the right thing. And they decided to give us one more box of rice for the next time… Without saying sorry, they just hung up the phone. No sorry during the whole process. The WORST in Unilocal. The WORST in the whole world.

It’s getting late. I want some Chinese food. Let’s see, who’s open… ah, Sultan Wok! Open until 10:30pm. Perfect. Hop in the car, drive over — whew, it’s just 10:15pm: plenty of time. Except, why isn’t that«open» sign illuminated? Well the door’s open, at least. I pop my head in. «We’re closed.» «But you’re open until 10:30 tonight, right?» «Sometimes we’re not.» The absolute easiest way for a restaurant to lose my business is to not be open during its posted hours of operation — it’s hugely disrespectful. If you can’t be bothered to stay open until a certain time, don’t post any hours at all — at least be upfront about it.

Food delivery was fast and hot. Egg roll was amazing. Altered specials to your liking. Only downside had to spend $ 15 to use debit card.

It doesn’t even deserve 1 star. When I read the reviews I figured people just didn’t appreciate cheap Chinese food because lets face it if you want Chinese takeout you want the good cheap stuff. However this was just cheap and bad. Avoid at all costs.

The food itself is just passable, other than condescendingly telling me that«chow mein» in NJ is in fact not a noodle dish but a noodle-less dish with vegetables. It was just mildly amusing hearing this, being a Chinese American that knows what«chow mein» literally translates to. My main gripe with this place would be the rude, unapologetic staff(well, the delivery guy was nice at least). Twice now I have been charged MORE than what their site had said(the online order had already included charges for tax, delivery, and tip), and a call to inquire about this bizarre(and seemingly illegal) event was met with unapologetic communication that their site prices need to be updated; the second order had been at least 1 – 2 years after the first, so it appears they have no intention of updating their site and will merrily continue to scam customers out of a couple extra bucks with each order. I hope the $ 2 was worth losing a customer over.

Ordered online for pickup– everything was right and the order was ready in about 15 minutes. Very good wonton soup, veggie lo mein isn’t so flavorful but not greasy or oily which is a plus, and chicken moo shi is very tasty. We’ve tried half a dozen Chinese restaurants within a 10 mile radius and this is by far the best and also consistent.

45 min left till official close time & the guy hand gestured telling me he’s closed. While he was on the phone. Not OK with that.

When the best thing you can say about a restaurant is that it is cheap, you know that it is not the place you want to visit for a good meal. I have had their take out a few times over the past few years, but much less so since to opening of Shanghai Bun in the same shopping plaza. Most of what I have eaten has been dosed with MSG for a salty taste, and all the glaze/sauces are too thick. In a pinch Sultan Wok can fill the stomach without disasterous after effect, but unless you are on a strict budget, walk around the corner to Shanghai Bun for some real authentic Chinese cuisine. Alternatively, Asian Bistro offers good Korean and other Asian fare at reasonable prices, and sits on the northbound tracks next to the P’ton Junction train station.

The order: I ordered delivery to Plainsboro via GrubHub tonight at about 7:05 p.m. Based on the reviews here, I ordered the chicken chow mein/pork fried rice/wonton soup combination and an order of pork potstickers. Including delivery, tax, and 10% tip, this set me back $ 18. The good: –There’s a lot of food here. I’m stuffed and I still have leftovers for at least two more meals. –GrubHub said that the delivery fee would be $ 3, but when I actually paid, it was only $ 1.25. –GrubHub also predicted that it would be delivered between 8:15 and 8:25(over an hour), but they arrived about 7:25. Only took 20 minutes! The bad: The food just isn’t very flavorful. I was disappointed. –The wonton soup is just a pint of chicken broth with three wontons in it. No veggies or scallions or anything, and the dough of the wontons was really thick. –Similar story with the dumplings — the dough was really thick, the meat didn’t have a lot of flavour, just salty. Also, by the time they arrived here(even though it was fast!) they weren’t crispy anymore. –The rice wasn’t bad, good flavor and consistency, but there wasn’t very much pork or eggs in it. –Of the things I ordered, the chicken chow mein had the best flavor. However… there were no noodles! It was chicken, mung beans, celery, onions, and cabbage, all of which I like, but I was expecting some… y’know…mein. The conclusion: I’m new to the area, so I’m on the lookout for my go-to Chinese place. I don’t think this is it.

This is like the local Asian version of $ 1 pizza in NYC. I mean what did you expect? It is stuff you can put in your stomach and probably not die from which deserves one star for serving its function. Oh and the woman working there is kind of rude. Did you know Asian Bistro is just across the train track? Just saying. Edit: oh and their«miso soup» is really just MSG water. Yummy!

Waited almost an HOUR for 2 small servings of sweet & sour shrimp and chicken. portions were tiny, shrimp was undercooked in some pieces and over in others, and tasted straight from freezer, chicken was ok. Portions were about ½ the size of anywhere else I’ve ordered from. For 2 pint size portions, and a 3 liter coke, came to almost 17 bucks. Oh, and the food made me sick — stomach problem wise. Menu going in trash, won’t eat here again.

Sultan Wok has my heart. For Chinese, it’s my go-to in the area for good reliable classics. I love their Lo Mein, their egg drop and won ton soups, and their dumplings are boss, if a little greasy. But such is that nature of a dumpling. Sweet and sour pork comes crispy and delicious and their chicken/beef with broccoli is always a good bet. My go-to, however, is not one of their Chinese dishes. The thing I get, more often than I am comfortable admitting, is their Japanese bento box. It’s $ 12.50, which is a great price point for what you get. I always get the Bento D, which is 6 pieces of tuna/salmon sashimi, 4 little fried shumai in a touch of yummy teriyaki-type sauce, a teeny bit of kani salad, a teeny bit of seaweed salad, and a nice mound of sushi rice. Also, miso soup. For $ 12.50. Of course, when I tack on tax, and the tip and delivery charge to cover for my laziness in not wanting to pick it up, it ends up being a little more. But at base level, it’s a good amount of food for one and I love it every time. Yay Sultan!

This is a review for one thing, which happens to be the only thing I eat from here. I will admit to you, the internet, that the Sultans of WOK may possibly have my CC number on file, AND, I possibly may be guilty of ordering from my phone over the internet these delicious dumplings(pork pan fried) when I know I’ll be driving past their establishment. Normally, I hate dumplings with huge thick shells, like these, BUT – big BUT(cannot lie), these dumplings are EXCELLENT. Five star dumplings, one click ordering over the internet. I could marry one of these dumplings! I’ll keep it PG. Needless to say, they’re good.

Have had Sultan Wok a few more times. Just… no… The various types of chicken is hard and dry. Have ordered noodles and received rice before. Price is decent, but I can find cheaper and more authentic. Honestly, I’ve got nothing positive to add. Though I have not tried the thai yet.
